This luxurious, detached chalet for a maximum of 12 people is located on a sunny slope in the heart of Mühlbach am Hochkönig in Salzburgerland and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountain landscape.

The chalet offers 4 large bedrooms (3 with en-suite bathrooms), 2 of the 4 bedrooms have an extra bunk bed, a fourth bathroom, a modern, spacious living room, an open, fully equipped kitchen and a private wellness area with sauna and shower. There are thermostats in the living room, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms that allow you to set the desired temperature of the underfloor heating. This chalet also has a double garage and a large garden, a washing machine and dryer and a ski storage room with ski boot warmer.

Against the backdrop of the Hochkönig, 34 lifts, 120 km of slopes and countless ski huts invite you to ski between the three towns of Maria Alm, Dienten and Mühlbach.

In summer as well as in winter, Mühlbach am Hochkönig, part of the Unesco Geopark "Ore of the Alps", is an ideal starting point for your vacation! In the immediate vicinity you will find many opportunities for mountain biking, golf, glacier skiing, paragliding, hiking and horse riding. In just a few minutes by car you can reach the slopes of the Hochkönig ski area, a beautiful and snow-sure ski area with 120 kilometers of slopes. The family and small ski areas of Hinterreit and Hochkeil also offer a special charm.

In summer, the outdoor pool in Mühlbach, the Sommerstein adventure outdoor pool in Maria Alm, Lake Zell in Zell am See or Lake Goldegg offer plenty of bathing fun!

There are enough shops for daily needs and a good selection of restaurants right in the town, and you can reach the state capital of Salzburg in about 1 hour by car.

The accommodation is really great. From the rooms to the sauna to the dining/living area, the accommodation is very well laid out. We were 10 adults and felt very comfortable. Especially the terrace, which gets sun during the day, is a lot of fun. The kitchen has everything you need, and even beyond that, you can find some things (e.g. milk frother and many other helpful devices). The communication with Snejana was also excellent, which allowed us to arrive earlier and leave later. We would definitely come back and highly recommend the accommodation :)

We cannot recommend the house. In our opinion, there is clearly a lack of cleanliness. The final bill shows €350 for the final cleaning. This would not be a problem if guests felt that the house had been cleaned upon their arrival. The dining table and the kitchen fronts were still smeared from the previous tenant. The dust and cobwebs in the rooms and bathrooms tell me that proper cleaning was not done here. There was still used bed linen in the sauna? ? The provided bedding had partially broken zippers and the towels are so worn that they should be replaced. The pans have peeling coatings and are scratched. The coffee machine works, but it has probably seen better days. The dinner knives in the kitchen are also no longer the sharpest. The grill is simply unusable and the pictures in the advertisement have nothing to do with the actual condition. The grill grate and the lid are dirty and it smells of rancid fat. The surface on which the grill stands is dripping with grease. When I pointed out the condition of the grill, we were offered a cleaning three days later, which we graciously declined. Besides a few silverfish in the bathrooms, we even found silverfish between the plates in the kitchen. There is a fireplace in the house, but unfortunately, there is no wood available. You have to get that yourself! We had not experienced this with other holiday homes before. The following points are purely subjective. Most rooms are quite small, not least because of the bunk beds. The mattresses are definitely too soft. The bathrooms are poorly designed; after showering, water collects in the room. The squeegees are therefore not in each bathroom for nothing. There is a complete lack of shelves for shower items in the showers. The house is generally not bad, but it should be better maintained.

The contact before the arrival and handing over of the keys went smoothly. The house was very good. Comfortable, spacious and beautiful view. The explanation we got about the house and the environment was good, although everything spoke for itself. When we arrived in the dark we could not immediately see what the surroundings looked like. However, we saw in the morning when standing up that there was a construction site behind the house. We held our hearts for Monday morning and our fear became true. The peace for which we came was already disturbed at 6:15 am by the work traffic that passes right past the house and the whistle (knocking, drilling, ...). This was really a downer for our rest holiday!

Wir können das Haus nicht weiterempfehlen. Es mangelt unserer Ansicht nach ganz klar an Sauberkeit. In der Gesamtrechnung sind 350,-€ ausgewiesen für die Endreinigung. Dies wäre kein Problem, wenn man als Gast das Gefühl hätte, das Haus wäre geputzt, wenn man es bezieht. Der Esstisch und die Küchenfronten waren noch vom Vormieter verschmiert. Der Staub und die Spinnweben in den Zimmern und Bädern sagen mir, dass hier nicht ordentlich geputzt wurde. Es lag noch gebrauchte Bettwäsche in der Sauna?? Die gestellte Bettwäsche hatte zum Teil kaputte Reißverschlüsse und die Handtücher sind derart zusammengezogen, dass Sie getauscht werden sollten. Bei den Pfannen löst sich die Beschichtung und sie sind zerkratzt. Die Kaffeemaschine funktioniert, hat aber wohl die besten Jahre hinter sich. Die Speisemesser in der Küche sind auch nicht mehr die schärfsten. Der Grill ist schlicht nicht benutzbar und die Bilder in der Anzeige haben mit dem realen Zustand nichts mehr zu tun. Das Grillrost und der Deckel sind dreckig und es riecht nach ranzigem Fett. Die Ablage, auf dem der Grill steht, trieft voll Fett. Auf meinen Hinweis in welchem Zustand der Grill sich befindet, wurde uns 3 Tage später eine Reinigung angeboten, diese haben wir aber dankend abgelehnt. Neben vereinzelten Silberfischen in den Bädern, haben wir sogar Silberfische zwischen den Tellern in der Küche gefunden. Im Haus ist ein Kaminofen, nur leider kein Holz vorhanden. Dies muss man sich selbst besorgen!! Von anderen Ferienhäusern kannten wir das so bisher auch nicht. Die folgenden Punkte sind rein subjektiv. Die meisten Zimmer sind, nicht zuletzt durch die Stockbetten, recht klein. Die Matratzen sind definitiv zu weich. Die Bäder sind nicht gut geplant, nach dem Duschen steht das Wasser im Raum. Die Abzieher stehen daher nicht umsonst in jedem Bad. Es fehlt komplett an Ablagen für Duschzeug in den Duschen. Das Haus ist grundsätzlich nicht schlecht, aber es sollte besser gepflegt werden.
