Holiday cottage with swimming pool at Skåstrup Strand. The house is located high on the hill so the view of the Little Belt is incredibly beautiful. The house is approx. 200 m from the beach, so you can either choose to go to the beach or just enjoy the view from the house. The house was built in 1980 and has a functional layout. There are 4 bedrooms, so the house is suitable for two families sharing. Bathroom with washing machine. In the pool area there is also a whirlpool. Large combined living/dining room nicely decorated with views from the kitchen.

The accommodation was very poorly maintained. And the boiler was downright dangerous. The town of Bogense was very beautiful.

Normally we are in the larger holiday parks where everything is perfectly arranged, and this was a bit different for us. We reported to the center for the keys that 8 km from the cottage was. The cottage was in a park, close to the water, a wonderful place. And a swimming pool! The cottage was not very clean. There were also broken lights, windows not in order. Nothing to spoil the fun, but just on the outdated side. The pool we used often, it was a bit cold, and the hot tub too. The final cleaning made the owners very expensive, 1800 crowns (around 2-300 euros) so we did that ourselves, quite a job just before departure The whole house runs on electricity, no gas, and afterwards you get the electricity and water bill. That was about 200 euros for one week. Quite spicy, but also understandable because the pool is filtered throughout the day and kept at the right temperature. The booking price without cleaning is therefore quite attractive, and the electricity bill is acceptable, but you have to take it into account. Furthermore, do not pay too much attention to the details in the house and you have a perfect holiday. We have experienced Funen as a blessing, the tranquility, the beautiful surroundings. Not sensational, but plenty to do.
