Gute Ausstattung, sauber, ruhige Lage, ideal für ein kurz Urlaub. Man kann dem Alltag entfliehen und neue Energie tanken. Die Sauna und der Ethanolkamin sind besonders schön im Herbst da man durch die großzügige Glasfront im OG nicht nur auf die vorgelegte Hausreihe sondern auch den Deich und das Meer und den nordischen Horizont schauen kann. Die Treppe ist recht steil und nicht für Kleinkinder zu empfehlen. Die im EG liegenden Schlafzimmer sind mit angenehmen Betten ausgestattet, das Beziehen derselbigen braucht etwas Geschick aufgrund optimalen Platzausnutzung. An der ein oder anderen Stelle im Bad sieht man das Alter des Hauses, im Ganzen aber sehr schön für eine ruhige Auszeit. / Die Anbindung nach Kiel mit dem ÖPNV ist in den Wintermonaten eingeschränkt, da die Fähren den Winterfahrplan nutzen. Ich empfehle einen PKW wenn auch der Lokale EDEKA noch fußläufig erreichbar ist. / Laboe ist 4km entfernt und es liegen wundervolle kleine und liebevolle Cafés auf dem Weg. We had a fantastic time in this holiday home, everything was super clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, the location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, I loved seeing the boats pass by, definitely coming back next summer!

This was our first trip to Wendtorf, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, The house was spacious and clean, with a wonderful layout, We loved watching the boats from the balcony, and the sauna was a fantastic way to relax at the end of the day,

The only thing that wasn't quite satisfactory was the bed; the mattresses are very worn out and too soft. There are few options for dining out, a bit disappointed that the restaurant nearby is only open on Fridays.

It is a very beautiful and cozy house directly by the sea. The sauna and the ethanol fireplace are particularly nice in autumn as you can not only look at the row of houses in front but also at the dike, the sea, and the northern horizon through the generous glass front on the upper floor. The stairs are quite steep and not recommended for small children. The bedrooms located on the ground floor are equipped with comfortable beds, but making them up requires some skill due to optimal space utilization. In one place or another in the bathroom, you can see the age of the house, but overall it is very nice for a quiet break. / The connection to Kiel via public transport is limited in the winter months, as the ferries operate on a winter schedule. I recommend having a car, although the local EDEKA is still within walking distance. / Laboe is 4 km away, and there are wonderful small and charming cafés along the way. It is also worth checking the opening hours here. Overall very nice and we will definitely come back.
