The house was fully furnished and located in a place of tranquility. A boat to go out on the adjacent lake, a porch inviting for grilling, and a garden with fruit trees that was a true idyll. Very friendly and unobtrusive hosts/landlords in the house next door. All in all, a place to feel good and to slow down. Recommendations: The moose park in Heby, a visit to Drottningholm Palace, and a city tour of Stockholm with the Vasa Museum were certainly the highlights. But cities like Uppsala and Sigtuna were also worth seeing. However, one should take their time with everything; distances can be quickly underestimated on sometimes small roads and the lower speed that is recommended to be observed. However, there is always a reminder about speed cameras.

It was very well equipped, very spacious, and extremely cozy! The lake with a boat and the sauna on the expansive property right outside the door are the icing on the cake! The host Leena is nice, helpful, and keeps the area in a very well-maintained condition with a lot of energy. Recommendations: Stockholm and the fish shop in Grisslehamn as well as the beach in Grisslehamn are absolutely recommended.

Best equipped kitchen, but also generally a well-equipped apartment. The lake is very close and in 2 weeks we caught over 50 pike and perch. Very nice landlady. We would love to come back.

It was also nice to have a cozy fireplace for the cool evenings. Highly recommended for a family vacation!
