Description
The district Psili Rachi stretches up to the sea and is in an idyllic location, on the western coast of the Peloponnese, approx. 4km south of the port city Kyllini and approx. 3km northwest of the small and charming village Kastro. The 5 holiday houses NIKOS and DIONISIOS are situated in a lovely green area on a large, gently sloping nature and garden property surrounded by olive and pine trees, directly on the beach between several craggy bays with fine sandy beaches. The practically furnished holiday houses are on the very sunny coast of Ilia with a beautiful view of the Ionian Sea up to the islands Zakynthos and Kefalonia. In front of the houses there is a beach cantina run by the landlords of the holiday houses who ensure your culinary well-being is cared for (open from 1st June – 30th September).
The holiday house DIONISIOS is located directly at the beach, slightly offset to the holiday house NIKOS 1 (WEPGB001) in approx. 20mtr distance. The holiday houses NIKOS (WEPGB002-4) in the second row are in a distance of approx. 100mtr.
The practically furnished holiday house DIONISSIOS is on elevated ground floor, approx. 6 steps. From the circumferential terrace you have a wonderful view across the deep blue Ionian Sea and the beach. The living room with adjoining kitchen leads to the bedrooms (1 step up from the living room) and the bathroom. From the living room you have also direct access to the circumferential, roofed terrace which is the heart of the holiday house. Here you can relax, read a book or simply enjoy the view of the sea and the striking sunsets. On the rear terrace there is a wonderful, large and roofed space for barbecue and eating. The fine gravel beach is just a few steps away. Sunbeds und parasols are provided at the beach.
This is an ideal location for people seeking tranquility where the beautiful scenery and the direct location at the beach promise a relaxing holiday at the seashore. Approx. 5km to the south there are several fine sandy beaches.

We have stayed in many houses and apartments in Greece but never so well equipped as this one. Showercurtain, hairdryer, sunbeds etc. etc. Also spacious with a veranda all around and very clean. Very warm owners, also at the great taverna, only 50 m from the house. Nice beach with free sunbeds and umbrella. Come and enjoy!

Beschreibung des Domizils absolut zutreffend - extrem freundlicher und bemühter Vermieter - nur schade dass der Sandstrand (Killini Beach) knapp vor der Bucht von Kastro aufhört.

Wir haben uns mit fünf erwachsenen Personen in diesem Feriendominizil sehr wohl gefühlt. Selbst an den kühlen Abenden konnten wir am Kaminfeuer die Aussicht auf das Meer genießen.

Greece is already very beautiful in itself. But with this atmosphere and the beach, it's just a dream. The vacation in Greece in 2009 was the most beautiful vacation we have ever had. We had everything we needed - air conditioning, washing machine, and much more... It was simply fantastic. There were free loungers and sun umbrellas on the beach, and there was also a tavern where the food was super great. There wasn't as much variety as in German restaurants/taverns, but the food was just delicious! We highly recommend Nikos' holiday homes, because this vacation was the best we have ever had!

A beautiful house with a view to the west of the sea, only about 50 meters from the beautiful, expansive pebble beach. Exactly in between, accessible over the lawn, there is a tavern with good food, but unfortunately, from noon until night, the corresponding scents are present. Every Monday there is live music. The pretty house has beautiful large, brightly tiled, covered terraces on all four sides; in two of them, unfortunately, there are really nasty, only a few centimeters high, tripping edges. We arrived in the evening in darkness and I almost broke my toes stumbling over them, causing three weeks of painful injuries... the next day, I spoke to the boss about it, he was already aware and wanted to provide a remedy the next day!

A wonderful holiday home in the middle of an olive grove. Nevertheless, the sea is visible from the terrace. The house is very clean and fully equipped. A highlight is the terrace that runs around the entire house. Pure tranquility. Super nice landlords. Simple but delicious food, Greek-style in the Cantina, right on the beach. Great sunsets. Highly recommended for those looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday.

We have stayed in many houses and apartments in Greece but never so well equipped as this one. Shower curtain, hairdryer, sunbeds etc. etc. Also spacious with a veranda all around and very clean. Very warm owners, also at the great taverna, only 50 m from the house. Nice beach with free sunbeds and umbrella. Come and enjoy!

A beautiful house with a view to the west of the sea, only about 50 meters from the beautiful, extensive pebble beach. Right in between, accessible over the lawn, is a tavern with good food, but unfortunately, from noon until late at night, the corresponding scents are present, and there is live music every Monday. The pretty house has beautiful, large, brightly tiled, covered terraces on all four sides, but unfortunately, two of them have really nasty, only a few centimeters high, stumbling edges. We arrived in the evening in darkness, and I almost broke my toes stumbling over them - three weeks of excruciating pain... I talked to the boss about it the next day, and he knew about it already and wanted to remedy the situation immediately the next day! ?

The house is beautifully and lovingly furnished. The large garden and the all-round covered terrace are a dream. The landlord was always friendly and helpful and always there for us. We enjoyed visiting his cantina on the beach directly below our garden.

We had everything you need, air conditioning, washing machine and much more.... It was simply fantastic. There were free sunbeds and parasols on the beach, and there was also a taverna where the food was great. There wasn't much to choose from like in German restaurants/taverns, but the food was just super delicious! We can only recommend the holiday houses of Nikos, because this holiday was the best we ever had!

The house in Kastro is quietly situated and well furnished. The garden is very beautiful. The sea is almost at the front door. The beach is stony and sandy, which we liked very much. Walks into the olive groves possible. Shopping in the village is pleasant. It is a pity that the taverna on the beach closes already at the end of September, because the food there is very fine.

Large holiday home with wonderful terrace and sea view. Comfortable for 4 people, 2 beds in the central kitchen/living room on a pull-out couch, would be too "cramped" for 6 people. Kitchen well equipped for Greek standards, could be cleaner, therefore only good. Sea shore too steep for small children, otherwise great pebble beach with sandy tongues and super nice stones to collect (extremely nice flat sandy beaches for the little ones are about 7km away). You definitely need a car, the next good shopping possibility is Kastro (small but nice) about 4 km away. All in all a nice, quiet place to relax.

The house is simply but functionally furnished, the terrace is huge with sunny and shady spots, the immediate proximity to the empty beach wonderful. Recommended for those seeking solitude and tranquillity. Very nice landlord.

Practical beach house at a pleasant distance from the neighbouring houses and within walking distance of the beach and beach bar/restaurant. The beach bar offers good, varied cuisine and good service from midday onwards without disturbing the house with noise. The owners are very caring and considerate. The beach has a lot of gravel and a gravelly area in the water, which makes it a little uncomfortable when there are strong waves, but it is not very crowded even in high season. As an alternative, the shallow, fine-sand Golden Beach is a 10-minute drive away. The bar and house are a paradise for breeding terns.
