We have been regular guests at Blue Fox I for 20 years and were, as always, extremely satisfied during our three-week stay in July this year! Notable new additions include the air conditioning in the three bedrooms and the railing for the stairs from the terrace to the front terrace (shower area, path to the beach), as well as a new dishwasher. It is also pleasing that the newly hired property manager lives directly across the street and is therefore easily reachable. This year, the apartments Blue Fox II and III, an expansion of the adjacent former workshop building, were rented out for the first time, but we were not disturbed in any way, as the landlords have installed bamboo fences on the edge of the terrace for privacy, and due to the relatively large distance, we did not hear any noise at all. For newcomers: The supermarkets in Chranoi and (somewhat further away) in Nea-Koroni are well equipped, but for larger purchases, we recommend the big supermarkets on the outskirts of Messini (roundabout 2 km before Kalamata Airport). ATMs can be found on the north side of the church square in Petalidi as well as in Koroni. When shopping in Kalamata, please note that most stores are closed in the afternoon from 2-5 PM, and on some days (e.g., Mondays) also in the evening! Beautiful destinations include the old town centers and fortresses of Koroni, Methoni, and Pylos, as well as the tourist spot Finikounda. For those interested in ancient history, we recommend the excellently restored ruins of Ancient Messini about 10 km north of Messini, and for nature lovers, the waterfalls near Charavgi on the road from Messini to Pylos!

The house is nice and well situated. The rooms are wide. The overall condition is good but the kitchen needs fixing. The sand beach below the house is great and suits as well for the kids. There are many nice tavernas nearby but because of the traffic you need a car. There are a lot to see and visit in the region. The house is beautifully located and the furnishings offer everything you need. One downside is that the outdoor shower is just a hose, which definitely needs improvement. The beach was undisturbed even in July. All in all, a great family vacation.

Large house right on the beach with private access. You practically have the beach to yourself. Mostly large pebbles on the beach, sand in the water. Great seating options in the shade on the terrace. Beautiful views also from the balconies on the first floor. Great outdoor grill. Good equipment, everything clean. We fondly remember our time there and hope to come back soon.

Beautiful holiday home on a small hill right by the sea, a few steps above a 500m long, nearly deserted pebble/sand beach, 1 km south of the village of Chrani, 150m from the main road. Detached house in a large garden with roses and olive trees, large living room, recently with a conservatory, three bedrooms (2 with balcony), huge terrace with a fantastic view over the beach, the deep blue sea, and the Taigetos mountains, 20 km away on the next "finger" of the Peloponnese, the Mani. Members of the very friendly owner's family sometimes stay for a few days in an outbuilding, but you hardly see them and remain completely undisturbed. 300 meters south on the road is a small, very inexpensive restaurant with extremely friendly owners, more restaurants and a supermarket in Chrani. We have been guests at the Blue Fox for 15 years and are still enthusiastic!

We were at the House Blue Fox for the 2nd time. The house is located on a hill near the sea. If 7 other people are on the beach, which is about 600 meters long, that is already a lot. The view is fantastic, the house itself is very large, with a large terrace and beautiful vegetation! Improvements from last year: new beds, easier access to the beach, paths on the property widened. If you are looking for a house all to yourself, in a beautiful environment where you can hear the sound of the sea, then this is the right place for you.

The house is located really beautifully, the location is what makes it! The sea is at our feet, it's really just a stone's throw away. The house is very nice. Unfortunately, cleanliness leaves something to be desired, it could be a bit better cleaned. The terrace is a dream, the beach is beautiful, there are only a few people on the weekend.

We (family with 4 now adult children) have stayed at the "Blue Fox" for the 6th time in 10 years and enjoyed the ideal location of the spacious house, which also accommodates 6 people, directly above the beach. No negative impressions at all, not a trace of the crisis on site! The only criticism: This time there were no towels available. Tip: It is helpful to bring fans for the night's rest during the summer months! Excursion tip: The excavations of Old Messene have made tremendous progress!

Very nice, spacious house on about 0.25 hectares of garden plot directly above a about 500 meters wide gravel/sand beach, which you mostly have to yourself. From the terrace you have a magnificent view over the Messenian Gulf with the backdrop of the Taygetos mountains. We (couple with 4 children, aged 16-25) were there for the sixth and certainly not the last time! Worthwhile excursions besides Koroni, Methoni, and Pylos: ruins of Ancient Messini, impressively restored!

Generally a very beautiful secluded house with (almost) its own beach, blooming garden, own fruit trees, and crystal-clear, clean seawater. Now also equipped with electric heaters for the cold season for those who do not want to light the fireplace. Unfortunately, the mosquito screens on the bedroom windows are missing. Therefore, in this season (June/July), it is best to bring a large mosquito net for over the bed from home or buy a net for the windows if needed from the village shop in Loga. Conclusion: Those who do not shy away from the price will be very rewarded.

Maison très agréable au bord de la mer entourée de citronniers et de jolies plantes. La petite plage en contrebas est vraiment un plus et l’accès y est aisé. Le mois d’avril ne permettait pas encore de grandes baignades mais comme cela doit être chouette l’été. On a beaucoup profité de la magnifique vue sur la très belle terrasse. La literie est confortable et deux des chambres possèdent une terrasse avec vue sur la mer, un bonheur au réveil. La maison est super au calme et assez isolée pour bien voir les étoiles. L’espace barbecue est très fonctionnel. La propriétaire était sur place et nous a accueillis très chaleureusement. Nous avons même reçu une bouteille de sa délicieuse huile d’olive provenant des oliviers locaux  La région recèle de jolis coins : Koroni ( joli petit port), les ruines de Methoni, les cascades de Polimnio, la plage de Voidokilia, … Nous avons passé 6 jours magnifiques dans ce coin de Grèce avec 4 ados  Je recommande vivement ce logement où il fait bon vivre.

We, two adults, spent three weeks in August 22 at the Blue Fox. The handover upon arrival went smoothly. A very nice house with a wonderful view. Easy to reach by car. Shopping possibilities with a supermarket in about 3 minutes and butcher/bakery etc. in about 15 minutes reachable. Nice taverns can be reached in 2 minutes. The house is well furnished and everything worked. The handover upon departure went smoothly. Always happy to come back.

All in all, it was a really nice house with very nice 11 cats. But there are a few things that need to be renovated: there is only one bathtub with a shower head that cannot be attached to the wall, you have to let the boiler run beforehand if you want hot water, and there is no hot water in the kitchen (not even with a boiler). The kitchen has very old cupboards, which also smell of mould when you open them. Everything is clean, but you can tell that nothing has been done to the house for a while. The location is unique and you have to put up with a lot for it....

The sea view from the terrace is simply wonderful, you could just sit there for hours and enjoy the view! The beach is now more of a pebble beach, as many stones washed up from the sea in winter - no problem for us, but bathing shoes are recommended! It's practically all to oneself, and apart from us there's usually no one to be seen. The access to the beach should be improved, as the stone stairs end in the middle of the slope and it can be a bit slippery if you are not so good on foot. Very spacious house with sufficient facilities - on closer inspection it lacked a little maintenance in some places, but the great location made up for it. All in all, recommendable!

The location of the house is a dream and definitely the "USP". The terrace is beautiful, the property large and directly on the sea. The furnishings are rustic dark and ok, but could be a bit cleaner. A few details could be better, but overall we had a dream week at Blue Fox!

This was the second time we stayed in the Blue Fox house. The house is situated on a hill, close to the sea. If there are 7 other people on the beach, which is about 600 metres long, that's quite a few. The view is magnificent, the house itself is very large, with a large terrace and beautiful vegetation! The location, the view, the beautiful terrace, the spacious house: all this is wonderful. To be at the sea in a few minutes' walk, that's really special. Unfortunately, the furnishings and cleanliness still leave a lot to be desired. At least there is a new fridge now.
