We were here for three weeks at the end of August. It was dreamy. Super nice landlords. The senior played us a few beautiful songs on the harmonica. A really nice, clean apartment where we lacked nothing. We really enjoyed the peace and the beautiful private beach. It was especially great for us that we didn't have to drive to the beach, but just put on our swim trunks, threw a towel over our shoulder, took a book in hand, and that was it. We would love to come back.

We had a lovely stay. The apartment is spacious, beautifully decorated and located in a serene environment surrounded by pine and olive trees. There are 4 apt units in the house. The beach is a 2 min walk down through the olive grove, it is sandy with shallow and easy entrance, perfect for kids. Dirt road that leads to the house has some bumps and holes, so it is a rocky ride, but it's short. Overall a great experience.

We were at the accommodation with our children, ages 3 and 5, for two weeks at the end of September and had a wonderful, relaxing vacation. The accommodation was very nice, especially the spacious outdoor area with a sea view, which we really enjoyed. The facilities are good, with a very well-functioning refrigerator, freezer, oven, and stove. Unfortunately, a bottle and can opener was missing. There was enough bed linen and towels for 2 weeks on site (with a change once). In the refrigerator, there were 2 bottles of water and two cans of beer for the welcome. Dish soap and cloths, as well as garbage bags and toilet paper for the first days, were available. All windows have insect screens, and the mattresses seemed to be quite new. However, there were also a few minor criticisms. On one hand, there was no stopper for the sink, which made washing difficult, and the dishes that were available were also not really clean. The siphon in the bathroom sink was quite rusty, and what really bothered us was that the holder for the showerhead was broken, so you always have to hold it while showering. But these were just minor issues, and overall we were totally thrilled. However, there was no information available on-site. We had already read in the comments that you have to turn on the hot water with a switch outside the bathroom and how to get to the beach. The location was simply great. You can really reach the beach in just 2 minutes. It is quite large and really very beautiful, perfect for children. There are loungers and tables available on the beach. We had the beach all to ourselves for the entire 2 weeks, which was really great. Overall, however, 5-6 houses have access to the beach. These were all empty, though. Our direct neighbors in the house only used the beach early in the morning. We cannot confirm that the neighbors have to walk across their own terrace. There is a way around the back that our neighbors have always used. If you like seclusion and peace, it's definitely a great address. By car, it's about 3.5 km in both directions to small villages where you can also go out to eat well. Nikiti, a slightly larger town with a few shops and also a Lidl, is about 12 minutes away. We had an unforgettable, great vacation and would love to come back.

Philippos is een heerlijk huis op een geweldige plek. Voor Griekse begrippen is het huis smaakvol en compleet ingericht. Het enige wat we misten was een waterkoker. Als je van een rustige vakantieplek houdt, is dit een prachtige plek. Je loopt zo naar het strandje toe. Heerlijk om 's morgens vroeg al te gaan zwemmen. Wij hebben genoten!

Location very nice, furnishings okay. Outside, one must protect against mosquitoes during certain times of the day. The beds are not the best, with a gap between them for visitors, and the price is quite high for the season.

The way to the house was a bit difficult to manage with our car (Fiat Multipla) (bottoming out!). Otherwise, the location is very beautiful, the apartment is super comfortable, everything is there!

The location is wonderful, the small "private" beach despite some plastic trash as well. The equipment, however, left something to be desired, dilapidated bathroom, ancient somewhat gross coffee machine, we'd rather not mention the condition of the toilet brush altogether... Here, at least minimally, some investment should be made again. Explanations on where to dispose of the garbage or how exactly to get to the "private beach" would be desirable. The takeover and return of the apartment were contactless, which is fine.

Haus Philippos is a detached house located in the middle of nature with a large plot of land between the villages of Ormos Panagias (from there you can take great boat trips along the Athos Peninsula, limited shopping opportunities) and Vourvourou (small tourist resort, numerous restaurants & shopping opportunities) with a beautiful view of the opposite island of Diaporos. A car is absolutely necessary to do groceries, dine out, and visit the surrounding coves. The access road branching off from the main road (easy to overlook) to the house is only roughly paved and quite steep, but was easily manageable even with the smallest rental car category. Parking is available directly on the spacious property. The house has 3 apartments: 2 rental units on the ground floor and one apartment on the upper floor, which is used by the owners. We spent 15 wonderful days in the smaller of the two apartments in the second half of June, which is a perfect size for 2 people. Spacious living & dining area, functional kitchenette, bedroom with 2 sufficiently large single beds and comfortable mattresses, storage space in the closet, and a small bathroom with a shower (photos accurately depict the facilities). Fresh towels & bedding were provided weekly. Each room is equipped with a ceiling fan, and the living & dining area is additionally equipped with an air conditioning unit, which provided a pleasant indoor climate at temperatures of 35°C. Doors & windows are fitted with mosquito nets to keep the sometimes annoying pests out. Most of the time, we spent on the terrace overlooking the surrounding olive grove and the sea, which invites you to linger and relax. A short walk also leads to a small private bay, which is exclusively used by the guests of Haus Philippos and 2 other houses nearby. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and we especially appreciated the home-grown olives and the delicious olive oil they provided. We highly recommend Haus Philippos for a peaceful and relaxing vacation in a beautiful natural setting.

We were here for the second time after 2013 at the end of August until mid-September. It was just as relaxing as last year. The apartment is very tastefully decorated. In this bright, very tastefully furnished and well-equipped new apartment, you can even withstand the rare rainy days. The large windows offer a view of the sea and the offshore island, and to the side of the covered terrace and spacious garden. The narrow sandy beach, where the homeowners have provided sun loungers and small chairs for their guests, can be reached in 2 minutes. We already know 2 other very nice Jassu apartments here in Sithonia, but so far this one has the most advantages.

We found the vacation rental very clean and the kitchen equipment was plentiful. The fly screens were also great to keep the mosquitoes at bay. However, the mattresses in the double bedroom urgently need to be replaced (saggy and a bit musty). The view from the terrace and the barbecue hut is stunningly beautiful. Unfortunately, the narrow sandy beach was littered with debris and trash, so sunbathing and swimming did not evoke a real sense of well-being. In the immediate vicinity, there are alternatively beautiful beaches that were completely empty in June. Overall, we felt very comfortable and can definitely recommend the apartment.

Great location: 150m to the beautiful sandy beach; the slightly elevated highway above is barely noticeable - not disturbing. The beautiful, shallow, gently sloping beach, ideal for young children, is only used by friendly neighbors - mostly on weekends. No public access. Beach cleaning is left to all parties. Some plastic waste is washed up - as on all beaches. But it can be dealt with. Provision of a rake/hoe would be helpful, as well as renewal of the beach loungers/chairs. The water is clear, waveless, and pleasantly warm in early summer (beginning of June) - also due to its lagoon-like character (offshore island). With a 2-year-old daughter, we exclusively used the "private" beach and mostly avoided driving to other beaches. While snorkeling, you will discover surprisingly many small fish. The apartment is ideal for up to 4 people due to the two separate bedrooms. The size of the living room with integrated, well-equipped kitchen is just sufficient; it would be small when the sofa bed is unfolded. The interior of the entire apartment is appealing. The mosquito screens are perfectly installed. Fantastic is the standalone pergola/covered barbecue area with its long stone table. This spot can be perfectly used for all meals. The spacious garden area is another plus point. WiFi works reliably - although not at top speed. Very helpful, English-speaking landlords with a very quick response time for any concerns (restarting WiFi, logistical issues). Thank you! Conclusion: Great microcosm with plenty of privacy and a much better price-performance ratio than the usual "rabbit hutch apartments" in the region. Quiet, idyllic location - requires a car for shopping or driving to even more beautiful beaches (highly recommended is the weekly market).

The beautiful location with just a few minutes walk to the private beach made our holiday a true holiday for us - more wouldn't have been necessary! A cozy spot with shade at any time of day in July, and thanks to the mosquito screens, a peaceful sleep. Once we knew the trick with the large coffee from Stilianos and Elisa, the evenings on the beach or on the veranda were also very cozy. A recommendation for families who enjoy swimming and paddling with the house's own canoe, away from the large tourist crowds but still want to experience Greece. The facilities leave little to be desired (the toaster was only available in the other apartment) - especially the small dishwasher was a hit.

Secluded but not secluded apartment in rich flora and fauna. Cosy and tastefully furnished with lovingly placed details. It immediately invites you to feel at home. Looking at the sea from your bed is a pleasure. Beautiful sunrises can also be observed from the apartment. We felt very well taken care of, as the care of the landlords is palpable (even if they do not appear). A highlight for those who want a special holiday.

Philippos 2 is beautifully situated on an olive grove with a large garden.
The furnishings and condition of the flat are up to Greek standards.
When we arrived there was no hot water for showers etc.. You first have to put a fuse (in front of the bathroom on another wall).
The beach is not always accessible. The path leads through a gate of a private property with dog warning, which is not always open. You only get the hint that there is a key at an electricity box on request (tel.)
The communication is quite poor with regard to these things. I expect to be informed about such things in advance!
