In a fenced garden plot (circa 6000 m2) close to the medieval village, there are, in a restored farm, two independent houses with own gardenpart, minimum weekly to rent.
Castellaro Lagusello (Mantova) is a romantic village closed inside his medieval walls near a small lake in Moraine Hills in the south of Lake Garda. 380 inhabitants. It is about 12-15 km from Peschiera del Garda and Sirmione, two sites directly at the Lake Garda.

The area (the morainic hills of Lake Garda) is wonderful for cycling. Beautiful hiking trails on Monte Baldo (2230 m), also accessible by cable car or chairlift.
Several wineries in the area. In addition to the traditional weekly markets, held in almost all villages, further special markets take place in every season, such as the especially beloved flea markets (antiques, ). You absolutely must visit a "Sagra" (most are in spring, summer, and autumn), where you can taste typical local cuisine and also dance.
Several outlets with Fashion Made in Italy in the area, in January and July also very good sales (from 100 m to 10-20 km). Upon request, Italian language lessons and Italian cooking classes. Upon request, we can provide you with household help (extra charge).

Italy at its best!
The Lucertola house is elevated on the edge of the village of Castellaro Lagusello, which rightly holds the title of "Italy's most beautiful village". The view from the house passes through cypress trees to the towers of the village, which is also charming in the evenings with three atmospheric trattorias and several bars frequented mainly by Italians. The village provides one of Italy's leading sports teams in the sport of tamburello, a ball game already known to the Romans. Evening training and championship matches can be watched
The house is tastefully and discreetly furnished with old Italian furniture. The size of the house, the spaciousness of the rooms, the light walls, the stone floors and the high ceilings create a light atmosphere
The well-kept garden for exclusive use is almost the size of a small football field. It is nice to sit on one of the loungers under the shady tree. The gorgeous terrace faces the garden. There is a private staircase from the garden down to the village
The landlords, who live out of sight in a separate building at the beginning of the property, are extremely hospitable and leave nothing to be desired for their guests. They are charming, very polite and reserved. We felt very much at home and welcome here. The landlady speaks perfect German

History, nature, and relaxation
The house is located within an ancient agricultural court expertly renovated while preserving its charm. It is furnished with antique furniture, equipped with all comforts, and complete outdoor furniture. There is a spacious private garden, well-maintained, facing the outdoor dining/relaxation area. Outside the Court, the beautiful village of Castellaro Lagusello deserves to be visited. The owners, descendants of an ancient family that has preserved this place over time, are very hospitable, available to provide information and assistance for every need.

A dive into the Middle Ages in the San Giuseppe courtyard in Castellaro Lagusello near Lake Garda. Just past the gate, a very green lawn welcomed us, despite it being February, with an imposing 12th-century building standing on it. A bit further, our historic residence greeted us with a lit fireplace and refined furnishings. A truly magical time. We will be back soon.

Relaxation and recreation!
We enjoyed every minute from the beginning! The house is lovingly and comfortably furnished and fully equipped. Nothing was missing in the apartment.
Thanks to the summer weather, we were able to use the terrace directly in front of the kitchen with a view of the spacious garden every day.
The helpfulness and hospitality of the Zamboni family should be emphasized!
We felt very comfortable and can recommend the holiday home to everyone!

Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll dezent mit alten italienischen Möbeln eingerichtet. Die Größe des Hauses, die Großzügigkeit der Räume, die hellen Wände, die Steinböden und die hohen Decken schaffen eine lichte Atmosphäre.
Der gepflegte Garten zur alleinigen Benutzung hat fast die Größe eines kleinen Fußballfeldes. Schön ist es, auf einer der Liegen unter dem Schatten spendenden Baum zu sitzen. Die traumhafte Terrasse ist zum Garten hin ausgerichtet. Es gibt vom Garten aus einen privaten Treppenabgang hinunter ins Dorf.
Die in einem separaten Gebäude am Anfang des Grundstücks außer Sichtweite wohnenden Vermieter sind ausgesprochen gastfreundlich und lassen es den Gästen an nichts fehlen. Dabei sind sie charmant, sehr höflich und zurückhaltend. Wir fühlten uns hier sehr aufgehoben und willkommen. Die Vermieterin spricht perfekt Deutsch.
Der Aufenthalt war wunderschön – Italien von seiner besten Seite!

I proprietari, discendenti da antica famiglia che ha custodito nel tempo questo luogo, sono molto ospitali, disponibili a fornire informazioni e a prestare assistenza per ogni necessità.
Die direkt vor der Küche gelegene Terrasse mit Blick in den großzügigen Garten konnten wir dank des sommerlichen Wetters jeden Tag nutzen.
Hervorzuheben ist die Hilfsbereitschaft und Gastfreundlichkeit der Familie Zamboni!
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Ferienhaus jedem weiterempfehlen!
Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet, die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, wenn man selbst gerne kocht!
Die Familie Zamboni ist ausgesprochen nett und gastfreundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Ferienhaus unbedingt auch in der Winterzeit empfehlen.
Alles in allem ein wunderschönes Anwesen, sehr gut und sehr schön ausgestattet, sehr gepflegt und sehr sauber. Die Vermieter sehr nett und sehr hilfsbereit.
Wir waren nun zum vierten mal in Castellaro Lagusello, da uns dieser Ort sehr gut gefällt.
Aber diese Unterkunft war die beste. Wir können diese mit guten Gewissen weiterempfehlen.
Wir werden wieder kommen.
Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht , ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Familie Zamboni hat immer mit Rat und Tat zur Erholung beigetragen und viele Tips gegeben. Es ist eine herzliche Zeit gewesen, die wir in Ihrem Haus verbringen hatten und können das Haus nur zu gerne weiter empfehlen. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt, auch durch die sehr freundliche Familie.

Ein idyllischer Ort mit schöner Umgebung zum Radfahren (gute Fahrräder gratis) und trotzdem zentral gelegen zu Verona und Gardasee.
Nicht zu übertreffen ist die Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft der Vermieter, die im Nachbarhaus wohnen!!!

Wir sind eine 7köpfige Familie und hatten ausreichen Platz im sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten und gemütllichen Haus.
Die Zimmer sind sehr schön groß, es sind im oberen Bereich die alten Balken sichtbar geblieben, herrliche Ziegelsteinböden im unteren Bereich, die Bäder alle neuwertig, alles ist sehr sauber.
Es war durch eine Fußbodenheizung auch im März immer herrlich warm und den offenen Kamin im Wohnzimmer durften wir am Abend auch benutzen, was wir gerne getan haben.
Es ist ein herrliches, rießengroßes Anwesen mit einem irre großen Garten umsäumt von Zypressen, es gibt Fahrräder für alle Altersklassen der Kinder, Tischtennis, Liegen usw. So ist es sehr einfach auch am Ferienhaus ein paar Stunden zu genießen und zu entspannen.
Fam. Folchi-Vici wohnt auf dem Grundstück und sie sind sehr bemüht, den Gästen einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu organisieren.
Der Ort ist sehr ruhig und idyllisch, es gibt einen Bäcker und 2 gute Restaurants, völlig ausreichend.
Der nächste größere Supermarkt ist in knapp 10 Minuten zu erreichen und auch der Gardasee ist nicht mehr als 15 Minuten entfernt. Nach Verona sind wir eine gute 1/2 Stunde gefahren.
Mit dem Auto ist dieses Haus der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflugsziele und Möglichkeiten.

Ein wunderschönes Haus, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Aussenanlage, der Garten bietet für die Kinder viel Bewegungsfreiheit.
Die Besitzer sind ganz tolle "Gastgeber".
Wir fühlten uns rund herum sehr wohl und kommen gerne wieder hierhin.
Fazit:
IMMER WIEDER!
Der große Garten stand uns allein zur Verfügung. Das Örtchen liegt in schöner, leicht hügeliger Landschaft ca. 5 km westlich des Minicio. Zum Radfahren und Spazieren sind die guten und verkehrsarmen Straßen und Wege ringsum ideal. Fußläufig gibt es im schönen mittelalterlichen Örtchen zwei wirklich gute Restaurants (und weitere ordentliche Gastronomie) sowie eine schöne kleine Bäckerei.
Der südliche Garda-See einschl. Bardolino und Garda, Verona, das Mincio-Tal, Mantua sind mit dem Auto bequem und rel. schnell zu erreichen.
