Enjoy the location on the outskirts of the village of Uttum (in the Krummhörn), the proximity to the tourist hotspot Greetsiel, and at the same time the village idyll far from the hectic everyday life.

With us, you can take a break from stressful everyday life.
In our "Lüttje Tichelhuus" (small brick house), up to 6 people – plus 1 small child – can find peace and relaxation.
In the 3 separate bedrooms (1 box spring bed downstairs with separate child’s bed, 2 bedrooms upstairs each with a double bed and separate seating areas) – you can not only rest at night, but also retreat during the day. An information folder, as well as games and books, are available for you. In addition to the 24m² living room with a cozy couch and two comfortable armchairs as well as satellite TV, Blu-ray player, and Bluetooth radio on the ground floor, you can also make yourself comfortable in the dining room, for example, or retreat upstairs; the upstairs rooms each have a music system or a Bluetooth box as well as satellite TV (subject to availability). The kitchen, directly adjacent to the dining room, is equipped with ample inventory, and from the rear room with microwave and an additional refrigerator with freezer compartment, you have short distances to your supplies.
Through a small hallway, you reach the "daylight" bathroom from the dining room, with walk-in shower, bathtub, and toilet.
In the annex, there is a washing machine and the possibility to dry your laundry. In the converted garage, you can easily store bicycles or bulky items directly from your car, or even a bicycle trailer.
You park your car directly at the house.
Smoking is prohibited in our "Lüttje Tichelhuus." Smokers are welcome to use one of the two terraces or the garden.
The service fee of €150 includes final cleaning as well as towels, bed linen, and good Wi-Fi. If you would like to briefly charge your e-bikes, this is possible after prior notification to us or after consultation, provided this is done under supervision. Please inform us as landlords about this for insurance reasons.

Dear guests, When you book a holiday with us, we only require a small flat-rate deposit of €100, which must be paid promptly. This amount serves as a security deposit for us and is considered due in any case if you cancel before the following deadlines. After your holiday, the initial security deposit amount will be fully refunded, provided everything is left in a clean and proper condition. You will pay the "remaining amount" only 14 days before your scheduled holiday. If you cancel unexpectedly thereafter (14 days prior to arrival), 50% of the payment will be considered as cancellation fees. One thing to note: the landlords are very nice and helpful!
It is a great house with plenty of space and a large garden. There are enough garden furniture with cushions.
Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. In the kitchen, you will find everything you need. The second refrigerator with freezer was a hit! There are almost everywhere blinds or pleated shades. We needed these as the weather was sunny and warm. The rooms were well equipped. There are games and books for young and old. In the living room, a surprise was also waiting ☺️ Thank you for that! The nearest shopping opportunity (Combi, Lidl, Aldi, Rossmann, etc.) is about 10 minutes away by car. Fresh eggs are available at a sales booth about 800m away.
We give a clear recommendation for the landlords and the house.

Old Frisian house with charm
As always, we spent our summer vacation in beautiful East Frisia. This time we were at Lüttje Tichelhuus with the Ukena-Klein family. And right off the bat - they were very nice hosts! Here is the motto: Arrive, feel good, and vacation. Everything you need for two weeks of vacation was available. The house gives a clean, tidy impression and the outdoor facilities were well-maintained, but unfortunately somewhat "heat-damaged," which was the result of the unusually high temperatures in the north. All destinations in "Otto-Land" are easily accessible by car and there are well-developed bike paths. Whether Greetsiel, Norddeich, Pilsum, or Emden - everything is reachable in less than 30 minutes. A paradise for fish lovers. We felt completely comfortable and even the weather deserved the term "summer weather." Thank you once again for a wonderful vacation and many greetings from the Erzgebirge.

Simply perfect
We spent 4 weeks in this great HOLIDAY HOME. EVERYTHING IS REALLY THOUGHT OF THAT YOU NEED. THE FURNISHINGS ARE VERY LOVELY DESIGNED. THE HOUSE IS VERY CLEAN, YOU CAN JUST FEEL GOOD. THE GARDEN IS ALSO VERY BEAUTIFULLY LAID OUT, OUR LITTLE DOG AND WE FELT VERY COMFORTABLE. THE LANDLORDS ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND ALWAYS AVAILABLE. A COMPLETELY SUCCESSFUL HOLIDAY, WE HAVE ALREADY BOOKED AGAIN AND ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO IT.

Beautiful holiday home
We took a week's vacation in this beautiful holiday home in April and felt very comfortable. The house is very large, so everyone can retreat and enjoy their peace. The beds were great; we slept exceptionally well here. The rooms upstairs are very cute, everything is furnished with attention to detail. The kitchen has everything you need. There is a small garden with a lawn at the front by the street where you can sit nicely. Unfortunately, the noise from the main road is somewhat disturbing, but we knew about that from the reviews here beforehand, so it was completely fine for us. You can quickly get to Greetsiel and to a shopping area where you have everything you need (Aldi, Lidl, Edeka, Kik, Rossmann...). The contact with the Klein family was exceptionally nice; all my questions were answered quickly and kindly, and we were really very happy with the "welcome," especially the children. We definitely want to come back and gladly recommend the house.

Es ist ein tolles Haus mit viel Platz und großem Garten. Es gibt genügend Gartenmöbel mit Auflagen.
Es war alles sehr sauber und hübsch dekoriert. In der Küche findet man alles, was man braucht. Der zweite Kühlschrank mit Eisfach war der Hit! Es gibt fast überall Rollos oder Plisees. Diese benötigten wir auch, da das Wetter sonnig und warm war. Die Zimmer waren gut ausgestattet. Es gibt Spiele und Bücher für groß und klein. Im Wohnzimmer stand auch eine Überraschung bereit ☺️ Vielen Dank dafür! Die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit (Combi, Lidl, Aldi, Rossmann, u.a.) ist ca 10 min mit dem Auto entfernt. Frische Eier gibt es in einem Verkaufshäuschen in ca 800m Entfernung.
Wir sprechen eine klare Empfehlung für die Vermieter und das Haus aus.
Und gleich vorab - Es waren sehr nette Gastgeber!
Hier ist das Motto: Ankommen, wohlfühlen und Urlaub machen.
Alles. was man für zwei Wochen Urlaub braucht, war vorhanden.
Das Haus macht einen sauberen, aufgeräumten Eindruck und die Außenanlagen waren gepflegt, aber leider etwas "hitzegeschädigt", was die Folge der ungewöhnlich hohen Temperaturen im Norden war.
Alle Ziele im "Otto-Land" sind mit dem Auto leicht zu erreichen und es gibt gut ausgebaute Radwege. Ob Greetsiel, Norddeich, Pilsum oder Emden - alles ist in weniger als 30 Minuten erreichbar. Ein Paradies für Fischliebhaber.
Wir haben uns rundrum wohlgefühlt und sogar das Wetter hatte den Begriff "Sommerwetter" verdient.

Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was für einen guten Urlaub benötigt wird und sehr sauber.
Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind gut mit dem Auto aber auch mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen.
Wir können das Haus nur weiter empfehlen und kommen bestimmt wieder!

Vielen lieben Dank für die schöne Zeit.
Das Haus war bei Übergabe blitzblank geputzt, obwohl wir schon um 14.30 vor Ort waren. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundliche und umgängliche Menschen, die stets um ihr Wohl bedacht sind. In der Küche findet man alles, was man zum normalen Kochen benötigt und manches im Vergleich zu anderen mehr. Die Schlafzimmer sind oben mit TV und für die Eltern unten ohne. Alle SZ sind mit Boxspringbetten unterschiedlicher Härte ausgestatten, sodass man sicher eines findet welches einem recht ist.
Das Bad ist ausreichend groß, hat ein Fenster, Badewanne und eine ebenerdige Dusche. Die zur Verfügung gestellten Wäschepakete waren ausreichen und gut. Das Wohnzimmer ist sehr großzügig, so dass Mama und Papa im Sessel Fernsehen können und andere Mitbewohner auf der schönen Couch mit Ottomane entspannen können, lesen oder spielen. Die Vermieter haben einige kindgerechte Filme und Spiele vor Ort im Haus, da kann man einen oder zwei Tage Schietwetter auch ohne zwingenden Schwimmbad oder Museumsbesuch aushalten (Wir hatten kein Schietwetter ;-)). Alle Räume sind sehr liebevoll dekoriert, Respekt an Frau Ukena -Klein die das alles immer putzen muss. Der Garten gliedert sich in einen Vorgarten mit Teich (Futterpatenschaften sind erwünscht), einer Sitzgruppe, sowie einer kleinen Bank neben dem Teich. Der hintere Garten hat eine Sitzgruppe mit Sichtschutz und freundlichem Nachbar, wo man grillen und draussen schön essen kann. Des Weiteren befinden sich dort ein Strandkorb und zwei Sonnenliegen . Sollte wie bereits oben erwähnt, das Wetter mal nicht mitspielen oder es wird einem zu frisch mit Brise, ist im Anbau zur Garage eine innenliegende wetterunabhängige Sitzgruppe. Wer möchte kann seine Wäsche vor Ort waschen selbst ein Bügelbrett und Bügeleisen sind vorhanden.
Die beiden Gärten sind komplett eingefriedet, damit kann der Urlaub auch mit Vierbeiner stressfrei stattfinden.
Alles im Haus, was man braucht.
Lage ist okay, ca. 5 km zum Einkaufen.
Landstraße führt am Haus vorbei, ist aber nicht stark befahren.
Uns hat's nicht sehr gestört.
Alles in allem absolut zu empfehlen !
