Description
The holiday home is located on the outskirts of Wilhelmshaven, directly on the Ems-Jade Canal, which is used for tourism. (pleasure boat and canoe rental). The paths along the canal are particularly suitable for hiking and cycling. The nearby Sander Lake offers good bathing opportunities. Shopping facilities, restaurants as well as bus connections are available within a few minutes by car or bicycle. The distance to the south beach is about 3.5 km. Here you will find the Seawater Aquarium, beach promenade, maritime museum and much more. The house consists of a kitchen-cum-living-room with fitted kitchen, bedroom and bathroom with shower. The living space is approx. 30 sqm. The house has a small garden with a terrace on the waterfront and a parking space.

we will come again!
Vacation from the first minute. Peace, plenty of variety on the water, on the tracks (swing bridges), and in the air. The location by the canal is optimal, with pets we are very well accommodated. As a starting point, you can go in all directions.

Nice short holiday with good price-performance ratio
A functionally furnished small house, directly on the canal, which is not overused, with facilities that 2 people can manage quite well on a short holiday. The aeroplane and regional train traffic nearby hardly bothered us. Hot water and beds are good, satellite TV a little vulnerable in the rain. The cleanliness is average, there are enough towels and we also found a hairdryer. There are good opportunities to go for long walks with the dog and anglers also have good prospects of getting their money's worth. The outdoor area could be a bit more well kept and the small three-ring barbecue takes a bit of getting used to. Since you certainly can't (and shouldn't) expect luxury at the quite reasonable rental price, this accommodation is definitely recommendable for dog and fishing lovers. All in all, we felt quite comfortable and will certainly book this accommodation again for a short holiday.

Literally right on the water, one "step further and you end up in the Ems-Jade Canal".
What you wouldn't expect from the outside is the amount of space, an ample bedroom and the kitchen. The hot water supply is excellent, everything is very clean and tidy, in short: everything is just fine. The Ems-Jade Canal is used to a modest extent by pleasure boats, but that doesn't bother us at all. And the fact that small aircraft take off/land from the Mariensiel airfield was no problem for us, after all, there are no Airbuses or Boeings taking off. And since we made sure that our two (smaller) furry noses did not do their business directly in front of the neighbour's house, our four-legged friends and said neighbours finally became friends. Perhaps a microwave oven would make the very nice impression of this holiday flat even more rounded. In any case, we will keep this accommodation in mind and if it suits us, we will be happy to come back.
