Description

We offer our bright, comfortable holiday home for rent in a quiet, rural location with sufficient distance to the holiday resorts on our Butjadingen peninsula. Ideal for walking, cycling or just relaxing. Children also get their money's worth with plenty of room to run around. The two organic pigs are happy to be petted. There is a large tree house on the holiday home grounds. 3 cubic metres of sand are just waiting to be dug through. A large number of kettcars and trailers and excavators are available. And the one or other tractor tour with our 60-year-old McCormick is also possible...

The location:
-between the villages of Waddens and Stollhamm in the heart of Butjadingen
-agricultural region (see also Google Earth)
-Spa town of Burhave and the next larger town of Nordenham are about 8 km away

Prices:
in high season: 95,- (incl. gas, electricity, WLan, bed linen and towels)
in low season: 85,- (incl. gas, electricity, WLan, bed linen and towels)
Plus Corona-compliant final cleaning 65,- (one-time) and visitor's tax
High season: 01.04. - 31.10. as well as nationwide school holidays (remaining periods: low season)
Minimum rental period: 1 week or by arrangement (Saturday 15:00 to Saturday 11:00)
We have designed our flat true to my wife's motto: "...why should we be worse off on holiday than at home ..."

By the way: Should you not be able to arrive due to legal corona regulations, we will fully refund all payments apart from a 50,- handling fee.

Location and surroundings of object

The rental property is in a rural location with sufficient distance to the holiday resorts on our Butjadingen peninsula. Nevertheless, you live relatively centrally: both the North Sea resort of Burhave and Nordenham and the Weser ferry to Bremerhaven are 8 km away and can be reached in less than 10 minutes by car. Green, lush pastures with grazing cattle are located on the property's borders. The farm roads invite you to go for a walk or a bike ride. But you can also just rest and listen to the harmonious croaking of the frogs in our pond.

Pure relaxation.

Those seeking peace and relaxation are in the right place. The holiday apartment is in an absolutely modern and impeccable condition. Our children loved the rural surroundings. There were no tourists in sight, yet you can reach the sea in 10 minutes. As mentioned, we felt very well taken care of and were able to relax with two children.

Vacation ❤️

We spent a few super beautiful and relaxing days in Butjadingen. The vacation house is modern and cozy. In the garden, you can wonderfully enjoy the peace and quiet. We felt very comfortable and didn't miss anything. The Kuhlmann family also took great care of us. Thank you very much!
A special highlight were the cuddling sessions with the pigs ?

Warm accommodation in an idyllic location.

We had a great short holiday with lots of action on the farm and friendly, likeable landlords. Our son had a lot of fun with the boys on the farm and was able to participate in plenty of "everyday" things such as collecting hay or feeding pigs.

The holiday home is very well equipped and nothing is missing.

There are plenty of leisure activities in the nearby area.

A place to feel good

The week in the Kuhlmann family's holiday home went by far too quickly. We felt completely at home right from the start

The flat is exceptionally high quality and tastefully furnished, in the kitchen you will find all the utensils you need for daily cooking, and everything is very clean and well maintained! All the furnishings are ultra-modern and well thought out.
For our one-year-old daughter, there was a travel cot, a high chair and a step stool for the bathroom.
We didn't want for anything.

If you like country life, peace and quiet, nature and lots of space, you will feel right at home here. For our city kid, the pigs, chickens and frogs were an absolute highlight.
You won't get far here without a car. However, the location is so convenient that you can quickly reach your excursion destinations in all directions by car! The landlord's tips for excursions are very valuable, so you can plan your activities on the spot.

Overall, we were very satisfied and can recommend this holiday home without reservation. Another plus is the very cordial landlords, who are always approachable. Despite the close proximity, you can enjoy your privacy thanks to the clever architecture.

In short, we are thrilled and will gladly come back!

A holiday to remember

A beautifully furnished, ground-level flat suitable for senior citizens with a lot of luxury. You have everything you need for a nice relaxing holiday. The Kuhlmann family is very nice and happy to provide tips and suggestions. There is also a folder in the flat with many brochures from the Butjadingen area and the surrounding area. You can go on very nice hikes and bike tours. It is a wonderful area and the climate has been good to us. We liked it very much and will come again next year. Dear family Kuhlmann, thank you for everything you have offered, stay healthy and see you next year.

Bright children's eyes.

We stayed in a well-equipped and clean holiday home owned by the Kuhlmann family. The house left nothing to be desired. Everything was thought of for our children, aged 2 and 4. My son is completely crazy about tractors and pedal cars. That's why the toys available here, including the sand pile, were a dream for him. He could feed the pigs and chickens, as well as drive around on the field paths with the go-kart. The journey was a bit adventurous, and we felt like we were taking a different route every day :-). The landlords are very nice and accommodating. They were always available to help with any questions. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay here and can highly recommend the accommodation. Thank you for a great time.

Top floor apartment with a large yard for playing

We were fortunate to spend a week's vacation in the holiday apartment of the Kuhlmann family.
All rooms were very nice and modernly furnished. For our son (2 years old), the large property with a sandpit and many sand toys was paradise. We also enjoyed a 'romantic' tractor tour (to the nearest neighbor).
We can only recommend this holiday apartment.

Summer vacation in Butjadingen with a toddler

Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a loving and friendly welcome. Heiner and Uschi Kuhlmann are very attentive to ensure your well-being. The apartment is absolutely recommendable. Everything is available, a lot of space, and very clean. You can tell that it was newly furnished last year. We felt completely comfortable. Our little one (3) was outside all day playing with the Kuhlmann boys. Whether in the sand, with the pigs, on the children's vehicles, or in the treehouse... He was allowed to go everywhere. And the highlights were the tractor rides! It takes just a few minutes to drive to the beach, nothing works here without a car. And the field roads take some getting used to... :-) But you get a lot of relaxation! Vacation at the Kuhlmanns is highly recommended!

Pure relaxation for parents and child.

We had a really nice and relaxing week with the Kuhlmann family. We were very impressed with the holiday apartment, we simply felt well there. The equipment is just top! In every respect. We also liked the surroundings, even though you have to drive to the sea by car/bicycle, but it was only a few minutes. You could simply relax in the middle of the greenery and enjoy nature. It was just perfect for us. We were able to relax there properly! The Kuhlmann family is very warm and hospitable, making you feel really comfortable. Whenever we needed help or information, they were there for us immediately and could provide us with tips. The entire family treated our girls so warmly, they played with them, we were able to take a tractor ride with them, made a campfire together, and so much more. Even the two sons were very, very affectionate with our daughters and were always helpful. We will definitely come back again next year!

No stay, only evaluation of the landlord / landlady.

We had booked the period from 27.12.2020 to 02.01.2021, very friendly chat messages and caring landlord. Due to new Corona regulations, it is unfortunately prohibited to rent out the house for tourist purposes, so our holiday is canceled. The landlord checked with local authorities and promptly informed us. No issue with canceling the rental agreement and immediate refund of the full amount. Top!!

Everything, but really everything is perfect!

We had the opportunity to stay for a week during the autumn break at the Kuhlmann family's new, luxurious and spacious holiday apartment. The facilities were perfect, the location very quiet and our children were warmly welcomed by the Kuhlmann family's offspring. The week was fantastic, and we will definitely come back.

We are a nature-loving late-bloomer family of 4. My wife and I both work. We speak German, English (only my wife), Plattdeutsch (mainly me) and with hands and feet We live right next door in the main house and are always approachable. We are a little different from the typical North German character: we are sociable and not taciturn, so we are not landlords. In the household there is a family dog (outdoor sleeper), which we can let keep watch either on the whole property or only in our garden. Furthermore, we have 2 organic pigs. We can also let them graze/bury in the immediate vicinity of the holiday home or at a sufficient distance. Important: the animals do not cause any odour nuisance! We have already had some experiences with holiday accommodation in the past and have made it our mission to show our guests that we can do it better
