Description
This former farmhouse from approx. 1870 was completely rebuilt and renovated in 2010
The kitchen offers a dishwasher, ceramic hob, convection oven, microwave etc., adjoining a laundry room ( washing machine, dryer)
The separate dining room for 8- 10 persons is connected to the living room (fireplace, TV, books, games) by a double door
The downstairs bathroom has a floor-level shower and underfloor heating
Downstairs there is one bedroom, upstairs another three bedrooms; a children's play corner with TV and a second bathroom. From here you can enjoy the view of the meadows and dyke while lying in the whirlpool (for two)
Wi-Fi can be used free of charge during the rental period.
Outside you will find a sunbathing/playing lawn with fruit trees, terrace, covered seating area, beach chair, garden house sauna.
The quiet street invites you to go cycling/skating, the North Sea lagoon Burhave with sandy beach is 2.5 km away along the dyke, the village with play barn, supply (restaurants, bicycle rental) 2 km away

Holidays at the North Sea all year round: We have designed this house as a holiday home at the North Sea for all seasons.
In autumn and winter, the walks along and on the dike are an unmistakable experience in nature, afterwards you can linger comfortably by the fireplace, the sauna and the whirlpool offer relaxation possibilities for the cold winter evenings.
Spring and late summer are the best times for cycling, usually there are beautiful sunny hours on the terrace during the day, in the evening the sauna is a welcome end to the day.
In summer, with its long days outdoors, the North Sea lagoon, the beach at Tossens, activities by bike and inline skates, but also relaxing reading under the apple tree in your own garden are enticing.

Simply great.
Hello, so we found the house to be very beautiful and exactly as described. The garden was also wonderful. We all felt very comfortable there and would come back anytime. The living room with the fireplace was really quaint and had great old furniture. P.S. you should change the toilet seat in the upper bathroom, it doesn't fit mechanically. You can play great football on the street by the dyke, there is little traffic. If you ever sell the house, let us know;-)

Unterkunft mit Hindernissen
An sich hat uns mit vier Erwachsenen und drei Kindern räumlich und ausstattungsmäßig nichts gefehlt. Auch die Betreuung war in Ordnung. Doch der optische Eindruck der ins Netzgestellten Bilder war ein Trugschluss. Die Außenanlagen waren ungepflegt und verwildert. Im Haus waren die beiden Badezimmer auf dem neuesten Stand und ok. Die Schlafzimmer waren ok. Doch die auf altdeutsches Bauernhaus eingerichteten Möbel waren arg strapaziert. Viele Fliesen waren defekt und von einigen Türen blätterte die weiße Farbe ab
Der erste Eindruck beim Eintreffen veranlasste meinen 11jährigen Enkel zu der Äußerung: "Wie sieht das hier denn aus, hier bleibe ich nicht."
Wir alle haben trotzdem eine schöne Woche in Burhave verbracht.

Vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung und Hinweise !
Das Alte Haus am Deich hat immer wieder kleine Setzrisse (wie alle anderen Häuser und Straßen am Deich auch !). Mehrere Küchenfliesen waren tatsächlich sehr beschädigt. Wir konnten diese aufgrund von Terminfindung mit dem Fliesenlegebetrieb erst unmittelbar nach ihrem Aufenthalt erneuern lassen, hierfür bitten (und baten) wir um Entschuldigung. Auch der Außenbereich hat sich nach der ungewöhnlichen Hitze und Trockenheit dieses Sommers komplett renaturiert und strahlt in Grün !
Dass die Bilder einen Trugschluss beinhalten sollen, können wir in keiner Weise nachvollziehen. Die Bilder des Hausinneren haben wir sicherheitshalber erneuert und auch ein Bild des Flures im Erdgeschoss hinzugefügt, damit Sie sich selbst ein Bild von den Türen machen können !! Die Möbel entsprechen den Abbildungen und sind uneingeschränkt nutzbar, wie auf den Bildern zu sehen.
Schade, dass Ihnen die Lage eines einzelstehenden Deichresthofes mit Schafen, Natur und weitem Blick so wenig gefallen hat, dass sie dafür nur 2,5 Sterne vergeben konnten. Eine Erläuterung vor Ort wäre hilfreich gewesen, denn auch nach nochmaliger Durchsicht der Beschreibung vermögen wir nicht zu erkennen, wie wir dies besser hätten beschreiben können.

Wonderful time in winter
We are a young family with a three-year-old child. We really enjoyed our stay in Butjadingen. The holiday home simply has everything you need to have a really nice "time out" in the winter. The sauna and the whirlpool were particularly appealing and appealed to us. There is also plenty of space in and around the house. There are even a few toys for children. Our child could romp around in the garden without disturbing the neighbours. In the evenings, we could sit comfortably by the fireplace and play with our little son.
The Wi-Fi in the house is not particularly fast, but we were able to take care of a few important professional matters online.
Butjadingen, with its unique landscape on the Wadden Sea, a variety of restaurants, grocery shops and - very good for us - the attractive play barn, offers a place to stay where you can enjoy your holiday even in winter.
The care provided by the Friele family was optimal.
