ALSO BEAUTIFUL IN WINTER! The flat is located on the upper floor of a renovated villa from the turn of the century in the half-timbered part of the house. It has an area of 57 sqm on two levels. Downstairs is a bedroom with a double bed, upstairs is the living area with two sofas and TV with satellite connection, which leads into an open, well-equipped kitchen. From the living area there are three dormers, one of which is also equipped with a double bed and another with a desk, in the third there is storage space. The dormers give the flat an interesting cut and a special charm due to the exposed half-timbered beams.
The flat has a bathroom with bathtub and washing machine. Minimum stay: 3 nights

Comfortable apartment with various options for leisure activities.
We felt very comfortable in this spacious apartment, which was individually decorated with many personal details, and we didn't miss any comforts. Our hosts were not present themselves, but they were always available and helpful to us by phone. The pretty, old villa is located on the edge of the center with a beautiful view. From here, besides the sights in Dömitz, we had many opportunities to explore the surrounding area, for example, along the Elbe Cycle Path on the riverbank, or on trips to the round villages and to several worthwhile places in the Elbe region.

Great holiday apartment
We felt very comfortable there. Everything you need was available in the apartment.
However, you have to go up to the 2nd floor (through a very nice staircase).
An Aldi is right next door, an Edeka market is one street away. The neighbors in the building were also all friendly. All in all, a place to feel good. We would gladly come back again.

It was relaxing!
The apartment was functionally and practically furnished for the price she paid. However, there were some deficits that caught our attention. In terms of cleanliness, a basic cleaning would be appropriate. On the cabinets and inside as well. It would be helpful to provide reasonable cleaning supplies for users with pets, such as scrubbers and cloths, instead of the inadequate tool available there that only spreads dirt. In the kitchen, the dishes are somewhat randomly put together for a household of 4 people. In the bathroom, there is an issue with the toilet that cannot be used immediately by 2 people in a row, as the flush tank takes about 15-20 minutes to fill up. The hot water is too hot, as even when turning the faucet to cold, only hot water comes out at first before it becomes cold. The shower curtain could be replaced with a fabric curtain so that it doesn't stick to the body during the shower. And last but not least, the mattresses in both beds should be replaced, as back pain is inevitable. I realize that it was not a hotel vacation we booked, as even there, not everything is always perfect ;0) but if no one addresses these things, the host also doesn't have the chance to change anything :0)
And we would go there again. The contact with the hostess was always nice and friendly, very eager to quickly respond to inquiries. The location of the house and the apartment is easily accessible. A bit loud due to the adjacent street, but manageable. The staircase is very nice due to its width and the steps. Unfortunately, we were unlucky that the standing water directly by the house turned green due to temperature fluctuations. I can only recommend protecting yourself from mosquitoes and bringing repellent with you. The area completely de-stressed us and brought us down from work stress. You can walk very well and far with a dog. Thank you!

Es ist uns ein Bedürfnis, zu dieser Bewertung Stellung zu nehmen.
Wir würden bei so vielen empfundenen Mängeln einer Unterkunft nicht wiederkommen wollen. Die Wohnung wird nach jeder Vermietung professionell gereinigt (inklusive aufwändiger Entfernung von Hundehaaren). Wir nutzen die Wohnung selbst. Entsprechend ist sie nach unseren Wünschen und Bedürfnissen und mit unserem persönlichen Stil eingerichtet, was vielen Gästen gefällt. Das Haus ist 115 Jahre alt, denkmalschutzgerecht saniert. Es ist uns nicht möglich, es allen Bedürfnissen 100%ig anzupassen. Das betrifft vor allem den sich ständig verändernden Zustand der natürlichen Gewässer (der Floßgraben ist kein Badegewässer und auch nicht gekippt, das Entenflott spiegelt seinen natürlichen Zustand). Natürlich bleiben wir Anregungen und Verbesserungsvorschlägen gegenüber aufgeschlossen.
