Description
On approx. 100 m² over two floors of the semi-detached house (4 rooms), a bright holiday home in country house style awaits you for 2-5 persons (ideal for 4 adults, possible also 2 adults + 2 children). The holiday home has two separate bedrooms on the upper floor, a bathroom with shower and WC.
On the ground floor there is an additional separate WC, cloakroom, an eat-in kitchen with dining area, cooker, refrigerator, freezer, storage room, separate living area with sofa bed and TV as well as access to the south-facing terrace, 2 parking spaces directly at the house. Fast W-Lan available in all rooms and on the terrace.
Children and dogs are of course welcome.

The Alte Forsthaus is situated at the foot of the Silberberg surrounded by high forests in a quiet, secluded location in the outskirts of the climatic spa town of Markt Bodenmais.
Start the day by letting your gaze wander over the green meadows and forests. With a bit of luck, you can watch deer with fawns, hawks hunting, hares or a fox in the morning (remember your binoculars).
The Alte Forsthaus Bodenmais is an ideally located starting point for wonderful hikes, long walks, mountain bike tours or even Nordic walking. The extensive network of trails starts right outside the front door. This area also has a lot to offer for the little ones. A pram trail also starts right at the front door and not far away there is the exciting ant trail for the somewhat older ones.
For an adventure programme, a short hike up to the Silberberg is a good idea in summer. There you will find an adventure centre (visitor mine, beer garden, summer toboggan run, adventure playgrounds, tubing run, children's climbing garden, adventure camp, guest towns, archery range, mountain railway to the summit).
Let a relaxing, eventful holiday day come to a cosy end in the evening on the terrace of your holiday home. Listen to the forest at night and enjoy the view of the deep starry sky. We wish you a good night. Tomorrow another exciting day awaits you, with us at the Alter Forsthaus Bodenmais.

The Alte Forsthaus is located approx. 3km south of Bodenmais in the outskirts directly at the forest. From the Regener Straße between Campingressort Bodenmais and Böhmhof you can follow the signs "Altes Forsthaus". The last stretch is on a gravelled forest road (private road)

A delight!

Everything top!
Very nice hosts, very helpful and if there is a problem it will be solved immediately. Great quiet location, you can start hiking right from the front door. Everything is very clean and the beds are great, I slept wonderfully the whole holiday. Nice sunny terrace with a clear view and good facilities available. We would love to come back again!

Idyllic hiking experience with dog
