Description

Hello and welcome to the holiday home "Tadpole"!

Our holiday home is located in the leisure and recreation area at the bathing lake in Tannenhausen near Aurich (approx. 150 m walk to the natural bathing lake with white sandy beach).
The tastefully furnished house with its approx. 80 sqm offers space for up to 5 people

There are two bedrooms with double beds and an additional sofa bed (upper floor) as well as a "butze" with a single bed (ground floor). A travel cot is also available for your toddler.

In addition to the fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, there is a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, hairdryer and much more. Should there be East Frisian weather, three 3 HD TVs with SAT connection, two DVD players, various films, Fire TV stick, Bluetooth music box, games and books provide entertainment. Of course, the house has a WLAN connection

A "Swedish stove" helps to make it cosy and warm again quickly on colder days. Bicycles (2 adults, 2 children) and helmets are available in the garden house for use at your own risk. The covered terrace and the well-kept green area invite you to play and sunbathe. For the end of the day, a charcoal grill is available for preparing food.

With our comprehensive service (freshly made beds, hand, shower and dish towels as well as kitchen roll, dishwasher tabs and toilet paper as initial equipment), we hope that you will enjoy your holiday from the very first day.

In summer, various leisure activities await you at the lake (swimming, volleyball, wakeboard facility, pirate ship for the youngest, bicycle rental). In addition, you can visit the "Mücke" equestrian centre and the "Sportpark Tannenhausen" fitness studio in the immediate vicinity. In the morning, a running track around the lake (approx. 3 km) awaits you

Visits to the coast (Greetsiel, Norden as well as the individual piers along the coastal road) or to the East Frisian Islands are always worthwhile. From Baltrum, the way back can be wonderfully combined with a mudflat hike. In addition, Aurich and Emden are always inviting for a stroll through town and an ice cream

Location and surroundings of object

The beautiful natural bathing lake is known for its good water quality. It attracts locals as well as holidaymakers
In summer, the Aurich tourist office organises a varied programme: beach soccer, water games, beach volleyball, pony rides, cinema evenings, Baggersee rally, aerobics & dance, children's Olympics and much more. The wakeboard facility is another highlight at the lake. But anglers also get their money's worth here

You can get to know the beautiful forest and moor landscape with bicycle tours or walks. In Aurich and the surrounding area there is a climbing hall, climbing forest, several indoor swimming pools and a go-kart track

During the summer season, dogs should not be allowed on the sunbathing lawn and the beach for hygienic reasons. Therefore, there is a separate fenced-in section of beach for the four-legged friends, where they can romp and splash around. There is a seating area and a station with bags available

Shopping facilities and restaurants can be reached in a few minutes by car.
A wide range of attractive events and festivals in East Frisia will not let you get bored.

Perfect break by the lake – cozy, warm-hearted, well-equipped

We (young couple, early 30s) spent an extended weekend in this lovingly furnished holiday apartment and were completely thrilled. The apartment is very warm and cozy – you can immediately tell that a lot of value has been placed on details.

Especially nice is the quiet location: In just 5 minutes, you can walk to the lake, ideal for walks or a little morning round. A real highlight for us was the clinker grill in the garden – simply perfect for a relaxed barbecue evening! There were fresh eggs from the farm around the corner – it doesn't get better than that.

The kitchen is excellently equipped: plenty of dishes, large pots, a dishwasher – you can really cook here if you want. Also practical: the washing machine is right in the bathroom – ideal for longer stays or active vacations. Last but not least, we would like to mention the warm landlords – incredibly friendly and helpful, we felt welcome right away.

For us, it was a completely successful break – we will definitely be happy to come back!

Great holiday home on the outskirts of Aurich

A very beautiful modern holiday home about 8 km outside of Aurich city. It is wonderfully located near a swimming lake, which invites you to chill, swim, wakeboard, and pedal boat. The furnishings of the holiday home are practical and very well-maintained. Nothing is missing. Towels and bed linen are provided. The landlady and her manager are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. After prior consultation, a dog may also be allowed. The very large garden with a covered seating area is also great. Here, it is comfortable to stay, as the seating area is well shielded from prying eyes and wind by a large hedge. A lockable storage option for bicycles is available, as well as an outdoor grill. Using grill trays is recommended here. It makes cleaning immensely easier.

Cosy like at home

The cosy and lovingly furnished house is very well equipped. We felt very comfortable here. The proximity to the lake is great, as is the proximity to the North Sea, the mudflats and Aurich or Leer. We would definitely like to come back!

Simply the best!

We went on a horseback riding holiday with a larger group. We stayed in a holiday house with 3 women. The house is just great, top equipment, covered terrace, grill, everything available. A round of deceleration, pure relaxation.

We spent 10 days in the holiday house as a couple and can only recommend it to everyone: The house is located in a quiet but central area - allowing us to explore East Frisia well. The house exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere, and we felt very comfortable from the first minute onwards.

Great house, decorated with lots of love

We booked the house at short notice (less than 48 hours before arrival) and everything worked out great. You really find everything here. For example, many spices, lots of dishes, Tassimo coffee maker, raclette, in addition to a modern TV in the living room, both bedrooms also have a TV, various games, and much more. Everything is in top condition. The location is great. Right on a bathing lake and quite central for many excursions.

Always a pleasure

We have now been guests in this holiday house twice and I can only recommend it. In the summer, we already liked the house, but now we are simply thrilled. The landlords have renovated the cottage wonderfully. The furnishings are coordinated and not thrown together as is often the case. The attention to detail makes the house a cozy "home." The landlords are incredibly nice and offer great service. The beds were freshly made upon arrival, the towels were beautifully arranged on the beds, and there was even a sweet little treat. It is a place to feel comfortable and relax.

Beautiful summer vacation

This holiday home has everything you need. There is WLAN throughout the house. The kitchen is superbly equipped (lots of spices, coffee maker, microwave, raclette). The living room features a modern television. Both bedrooms also have televisions. It's great to have an additional toilet on the upper floor.

The house is located directly by the bathing lake.

The entire house was very clean and well-maintained, and we really felt comfortable.
