Our holiday home is located in Schleswig Holstein, Dithmarschen, Hennstedt-Horst, a local recreation area directly on the Eider dike. The Eider dike is an agriculturally used dike where animals (cattle, sheep) can stay. Our property is separated from the dike by a fence and a ditch.
There is a bathing place at Horst 2, which can be reached on foot from the house in about 10 minutes. The Eider is popular with anglers. Daily or weekly permits can be purchased in Hennstedt.

DESCRIPTION
The property is almost 300 sqm. The garden is completely fenced.
The house is a log house and has a total of 68 sqm , distributed over ground floor and attic, and an integrated "winter garden"
In the garden there is a spacious pavilion (3 x 3) as a covered seating area and you can sit there on a rustic wooden set. Six garden chairs are also available. A garden barbecue is available.
The ground floor consists of the entrance hall and a shower room with WC. This is followed by a large living area with a wood-burning stove. This area consists of a spacious open-plan U-shaped kitchen, a living room area and a dining set, which is located in the conservatory. This is open to the living room and is also heated. From the dining/sitting area in the conservatory you have a view of the dyke. From time to time, sheep or cattle come to visit. Swallows, starlings and many other birds fly around the house, depending on the season. Then there is the living room area with a seating set as well as a cupboard and TV.
A staircase leads to the attic. There is a large bedroom with a double bed (180 x 200). From this room you can access the balcony, also with a view of the dyke. In a smaller bedroom there is a bed measuring 140 x 200. In the third bedroom, also small, there are two single beds across the corner (100 x 200 and 100 x 190).
The house has electric radiators and a wood-burning stove which, after a start-up period, is quite capable of heating the house on its own. Wood is provided as a starter pack.

Recommendable
Everything necessary was available. One thing was missing. A shelf in the shower and a mat in front of the shower to avoid always having to step on the towel after showering. Other than that, everything was fine.

Great house in beautiful surroundings
A super cosy holiday home!
On arrival the table was set and a little cake was ready! The dog was also taken care of, with treats for moving in, water in the bowl and dog beds!
Very clean house, equipped with everything you need. Thanks to the fenced property, it is very suitable for dogs. We were there in winter and heated the house with the cosy stove. Unfortunately, the sheep only "grazed by" on the dyke on the last day :-)
A beautiful area, perfect for a holiday with a dog! SPO, Büsum etc are still easy to reach by car.
Thanks to the friendly landlords, the contact was easy and uncomplicated.

Holiday with dog
There is no better way to start your holiday than with a laid table and a little cake and a treat and water for the dog. The house is equipped with everything you need.
Even a dog bed
where our Bine didn't want to get out. The location is so beautiful that we could see the sheep on the dike in the morning. The garden is perfect for dogs as it is totally fenced in. The barbecue invites you to grill and you can sit outside comfortably in nice weather. We will definitely come back next year.

Great holiday home
Upon arrival, we were greeted with a little surprise: a small coffee wafer and a small cake on the table. The house is very well equipped. A high chair and a safety gate for the stairs - we were pleasantly surprised. There is even a bed for our furry friends. We felt very comfortable. If you love peace and nature, you are in good hands here.

Will come again gladly.
As already described, the stay was completely contactless. A set table with cakes and a treat for the dog awaited us. We really enjoyed the tranquility and had a few relaxed days. The location of the house is great, and we will gladly come back as we (including our four-legged companion) felt very comfortable.
