Description
In the idyllic wine village of Burg, the Chill Lounge is located on a quiet street and has 125 sqm of light-flooded living space on 2 floors with an approx. 28 sqm conservatory, two terraces and a large garden. In addition, there is a fully equipped workplace for remote workers.
The spacious conservatory, the heart of the chill lounge, connects the two sun terraces and the garden with the house. You can sit in the greenery all year round, warm and dry, facing the sun. The Chill Lounge offers space for moments of relaxation and serves as a feel-good place for socialising with loved ones
On the wind-protected terrace behind the house, a large gas barbecue and a dining table set invite you to barbecue. You can make yourself comfortable outdoors on the lounge furniture and the deckchairs. With a glass of wine from local vintners from our depot, you can enjoy the sunset over the vineyards outdoors or in the conservatory, regardless of the weather.
The Chill-Lounge holiday home has the following rooms and facilities:

In Burg there are two restaurants and a Straußwirtschaft. There is a children's playground and a punchbowl facility on the Moselle. There is also direct access to the Moselle for launching a boat or SUP. On the outskirts of the village there is a water treading facility and a beach volleyball court. Wine tastings are offered by local winegrowers and can be arranged through me.
The village lies on the "Moselsteig" hiking trail. There are interesting trails for mountain bikers and relaxed cycle paths along the Moselle. Motorcyclists will find varied and winding routes in the Eifel and the Hunsrück.

Location and surroundings of object
Parking spaces are available directly in front of the house. Bicycles and motorbikes can be parked in the garage. Batteries for e-bikes can be charged there and rain-soaked clothes can be dried.
From Burg, there are numerous excursion possibilities to the Moselle towns of Cochem, Beilstein, Zell, Traben-Trarbach and Bernkastel. The old Roman city of Trier with its famous Porta Nigra, Luxembourg and Koblenz with the Deutsches Eck are all about an hour's drive away.
In the immediate vicinity there are golf courses, several wildlife and leisure parks for children, a climbing forest and numerous leisure, sports and entertainment facilities. The thermal indoor pools (Bad Bertrich and Traben-Trarbach) with sauna and spa treatments invite you to linger. There is a heated outdoor pool in Kröv.
We will be happy to give you tips for other interesting excursions, bike rentals, events, shopping and gastronomy.

A very nice stay in Burg
We rented the house for two people and we really enjoyed it. The house is located in a quiet area and is easily accessible.
The house is fully equipped. There is a beautiful garden and of course the winter garden.
During our stay we regularly drove to Bern-Kastel or Traben-Trarbach. In Traben-Trarbach, the cafe Alte Ratsschänke is definitely worth a visit to have a drink.
We definitely enjoyed our stay here with Mrs. Klein and we will come back many times.

Very nice holiday home!
There were 6 of us there with our friends. We met a very nice hostess. The house is equipped with everything, nothing is missing, very beautifully located! Thank you again for everything, also for the organisation of the wine tasting! We would like to meet there again!

2 super relaxing weeks of holiday
The holiday home leaves nothing to be desired, equipment, cleanliness and space were top. We used the winter garden a lot, very cosy for long game evenings or for breakfast with a view. The garden was also very pleasant with a barbecue and cosy seating and lounging options and a fire bowl for romantic evenings. Great surroundings for many activities on foot, by bike or by boat. The wine tasting at the local winegrower is highly recommended. All in all it was a very successful holiday, many thanks to Mrs Klein for the nice welcome on arrival.

Super nice holidays in the Bergstrasse in Burg and on the Moselle
We stayed with 3 adults in this very beautiful, spacious and clean holiday home
The house lacks nothing, it is fully equipped and everything is clean and sorted
With a lot of attention to detail, some of the rooms are very nicely furnished
In one room there is a nostalgic sewing machine with a built-in water tap... Hats off :-)
The rooms downstairs and upstairs are all in a good and clean condition
The terraces are super nice to stay and relax on and the location is a dream
The view in all directions is impressive and relaxing at the same time
We felt very comfortable and would recommend this house immediately
On the day of our departure we were able to meet Mrs Klein in person ... we would like to thank her again for the wonderful time we had in this house and for the very nice e-mail contact we had beforehand
All in all, everything was perfect!

Beautiful days on the Mosel!
We were four people over Pentecost in this great house. Everything was clarified in advance with the very friendly landlady, Mrs. Klein. (Greetings from Moers to Homberg). Nothing is missing in this house. The conservatory is top and was extensively used by us. The absolute highlight was the private wine tasting at a local winemaker. Super interesting and very delicious wines. Thanks again for that!

Vacation like home
The house offers enough space for a multi-generational or group vacation with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The conservatory and terrace are also inviting and cozy. We really enjoyed our time there. Everything was available, just like at home! A second house key would be desirable.

Relaxing vacation in a beautiful holiday home
Due to the pandemic, we spontaneously decided to go on vacation in Germany and by chance discovered this appealing holiday home while browsing. We were not disappointed. Very nice landlady, who prepared an uncomplicated and nice reception for us. The house is equipped with everything the heart desires on vacation. Nothing was missing. After our extensive bike tours, we enjoyed the peace and the beautiful view of the vineyards every evening. The conservatory is unbeatable! The many lovingly arranged little things make the house interesting and you simply feel comfortable. We will definitely come back to the beautiful Moselle and then to Burg to the beautiful family domicile of the Klein family. Greetings to Mrs. Klein and thank you again!

Very beautiful holiday home
We all (6 people and a dog) felt very comfortable, despite the heat.
Very nice hostess.
A selection of wines from the local winemaker was available in the garage (we liked them very much).
We will not be there for the last time.

Wanderurlaub an der Mosel
Sehr schönes und großes Haus. Wir waren zu sechst und haben Sehr viel Zeit im Wintergarten mit toller Aussicht verbracht. :) Die ruhige Lage verspricht Entspannung pur. Von Burg haben wir eine tolle Wanderung nach Traben Trarbach und Zell gemacht. Unterkunft kann ich absolut weiterempfehlen!

House with a view of the vineyards.
We were six people in this idyllic cottage with a large garden, barbecue area, a winter garden that can be completely opened, as well as a small fire pit with a direct view of the vineyards. The equipment of the house is modern and nothing is missing. In addition, each bedroom has its own sink integrated in the style of the room. I can highly recommend the accommodation.

Der perfekte Ort um zu entspannen
Das lange Wochenende, das wir zu sechst in Burg an der Mosel gemeinsam verbracht haben, kann man wie folgt zusammenfassen:
Entspannung, Spaß und Freude.
Die Unterkunft bietet alles was man braucht. Platz, Ruhe und Charm. Die meiste Zeit verbringt man im tollen Wintergarten, der durch die großen Schiebetüren komplett geöffnet werden kann.
Der Garten bietet Platz für Kinder zum Spielen. Die Aussicht auf die Weinberge ist klasse und lädt zum entspannen ein.
Die Lage der Unterkunft ist genial. Nicht direkt im Ortskern und somit keine Straßenverkehr aber bereits in den Weinbergen und somit perfekt zum direkten Einstieg in diverse Wanderwege (Moselsteig, Jakobsweg, etc.).
Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft ist super. Die Zimmer bieten alle viel Platz und sind toll ausgestattet.
Ich kann die Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen und kann den nächsten Besuch kaum erwarten.

The perfect accommodation for a hiking holiday on the Moselle
We were with six people for a long weekend at the Moselle and were completely satisfied with this great accommodation and felt comfortable immediately.
The location is perfect for relaxing near the vineyards and invites you to lovely hikes in the beautiful nature of the Moselle. For shopping in the area, you should plan for a car or stop by along the many hiking trails.
The accommodation is super equipped, cozy and all the rooms are very spacious and lovingly designed. Due to the generous layout and the two bathrooms, it is perfect for six people.
A special highlight is the large conservatory with a great view of the vineyards.
We will definitely come back and can highly recommend the accommodation.

Perfekter Ort zum Entschleunigen
Wir waren für ein langes Wochenende gemeinsam mit Freunden in Burg. Wer gerne wandert oder Fahrrad fährt, ist hier genau richtig.
Lage: Burg ist ein kleiner überschaubarer Ort direkt an der Mosel. Wer es nicht so touristisch mag, ist hier genau richtig. Man kann direkt von der Unterkunft aus seine Wandertour auf dem Moselsteig beginnen. Die Touren sind echt was für Wanderfans.
In Burg selbst ist ein ortsansässiger Winzer sehr zu empfehlen. Er bietet auch Weinproben mit köstlichen Weinen an :) Hier einfach die Vermieterin fragen.
Unterkunft: Das Haus ist riesig. Mit 6 Personen hat man ausreichend Platz. Mir persönlich hat vor allem der wunderschöne Garten und der Wintergarten mit einer tollen Aussicht in die Weinberge gefallen. Beim Haus selbst fand ich super, dass die 3 Schlafzimmer auf 2 Etagen verteilt und mit 2 Badezimmern versehen sind. Dadurch hat jeder einzelne viel Privatsphäre.
Wir planen bereits unsere nächste Reise nach Burg :)
