You can walk through the mudflats, relax on the beach or swim in the sea. Cuxhaven Döse is a popular holiday destination for families, as children can swim safely in the shallow water. At low tide, horse-drawn carriage rides can be taken to the island of Neuwerk. Cuxhaven-Döse is recognised as a North Sea spa because of its healthy climate with iodine-rich air. Just relax or keep fit, both are possible here in Döse you have many possibilities to relax or keep fit. The sea, mudflats and beach invite you to relax, swim, hike the mudflats, take a horse-drawn carriage ride to Neuwerk or go horseback riding in the mudflats. The dune landscape, forests that reach down to the sea, invite you to go hiking or cycling and ensure that you can relax in the healthy climate of the North Sea. Döse is also an ideal starting point for many short trips, with the large seaside boat to the island of Helgoland.
