Dreamily beautiful!
Since 2012, we have been coming to Kukuk year after year, since 2018 (with one exception) to the Finnhütte of the Kessel family. Even now, when we live only about 80 km away on the Baltic Sea coast, it feels like a second home! The apartment is very nice, well-equipped, everything possible can be cooked, baked, fried. The garden is wonderfully overgrown. The annual kayak trip from the Schwarzen See through Mildenitz, Borkower See, Schlowebach, Klein Pritzer See to Kukuk - I can never get enough of it. The neighborhood and all the people in the area are very friendly, Lake Pritzer is very close, and there the swimming community in the early morning! Just relax, enjoy the time there in the garden.
Family Kessel as landlords are very, very friendly, uncomplicated, easy booking, and always absolutely reliable.
Even now, since we live so much closer - previously about 600 km away - we will always be happy to come there. We want and can only say thank you: to the Kessel family, to the place, to the people there in Kukuk.
recommend for: adventure and experience, seniors, holiday with children, cultural and sightseeing holiday

Everyday life out, Mecklenburg in!
"Feeding" is what the anglers from Kleinpritzer Lake would call it: a week in the largest Finnish cottage ever built is too little for complete relaxation and exploration of the surroundings. The comfortable house and the large garden leave nothing to be desired; everything is sufficiently available and in excellent condition for vacationers without a hot tub/sauna requirement. For those worn out by the city, the tranquility is unparalleled, and media consumption is guaranteed by a very stable and fast Wi-Fi. Legendary are the crystal-clear lake and the wonderful welcome from the hosts. Thank you for your warmth and kindness, dear Kessel family!

Oasis of well-being in nature
The large garden invited us to linger at any time, and there was plenty of garden furniture. We were particularly taken with the tranquillity and nature with the bird calls and the view of the horse pasture. In the house, especially in the kitchen, we found generous equipment. Overall, the house was well maintained and very clean. The furnishings and decoration had a lot of attention to detail.
The hosts gave us plenty of tips and information about the surrounding area. Communication was swift and very friendly.

Pure nature
The Finn cottage is fully equipped.Modern and clean. We immediately felt at home. The large property invites you to relax and play. Our son was thrilled. There is also a barbecue area. The landlords are very nice.We were warmly welcomed. The place is very quiet, ideal to relax. The lake is five minutes away from the house. We explored the lake and the various bathing spots by canoe. In the unspoilt surroundings you can go on long bike tours.Larger towns can be reached by car in a short time.We enjoyed our stay very much. Our son also liked it very much.We would like to come back.We haven't seen everything yet. Many thanks to the Kessel family

Very relaxing vacation
To be honest, the Sternberger Seenland was a blank spot on the map for us.
When we arrived in Kukuk, we were warmly welcomed by our landlord and felt comfortable from the beginning.
We had landed in a very small remote place, Kukuk indeed.
Those looking for nature, peace, and relaxation are exactly right here. Shopping opportunities and leisure activities are plentiful and easy to reach nearby.
We were very positively surprised by the Finnish hut. This place is very modern and beautifully furnished, and we didn't miss anything here.
We will definitely come back ;-).
We hope to see each other again and wish the Kessel family all the best.
Greetings to the nice neighbors as well.
Thanks again, the Rittersleut from Schleiz.
