Our holiday flat is located in Breitenbach, a district of the town of Schleusingen , on the southern slope of the Thuringian Forest between Schleusingen and Suhl.
With 60m² on two floors, it has a dining and living room, two bedrooms (not separated), shower/WC, kitchenette with microwave, coffee machine, toaster as well as TV and radio.
Our holiday flat also has a balcony and a terrace with garden furniture as well as a parking space.

Location and surroundings of object

The holiday home is in a quiet location at the entrance to Breitenbach, next to a stream with large trees.
When you look out of the window, you have a beautiful view over meadows with a small stream.
In the morning you can enjoy the sun on the terrace.
Breitenbach lies on the southern slope of the Thuringian Forest. At the end of the village begins the biosphere reserve Vessertal, which was voted the most beautiful valley in central Germany in 2008!It is about 13 km to the Rennsteig, the certified hiking trail on the heights of the Thuringian Forest.
In the winter months, a well-developed network of cross-country ski trails is at your disposal. Shopping facilities are available in Schleusingen, 3 km away. Suhl is about 15 km away. Further excursion and shopping opportunities are available in Coburg, Eisenach and Erfurt.

Stay was short, but the feeling was long :-))

A very charming little holiday home in a green oasis with a very special air that blows through a metropolitan lung. It was unfortunately a very short stay that I enjoyed very much - Thuringian air also stimulates the appetite :-)) The cozy holiday home is extremely clean and tidy - it has everything a guest needs for a holiday - the landlord family is very warm-hearted. I will book here again and bring my husband next time.

Holiday in the Vessertal

We booked a 2 week holiday with the Gleichmann family last summer. The location of the guesthouse (at the end of the village) invited absolute relaxation of stressed people. There is a stream nearby, ideal for the children to play. The pension people are very nice, we felt very comfortable. This pension is also ideal in bad weather, there are many excursion possibilities nearby.
