Description
We offer you a beautiful holiday home with 2 bedrooms, 1 open fully equipped kitchen, 1 living/dining room, 1 bathroom, 1 guest toilet and 1 storage room. The house has 2 levels, on the ground floor there is the kitchen, the living area and the guest toilet. On the second floor are the 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and 1 storage room. The bedrooms are each equipped with a large spacious built-in wardrobe and a separate air conditioner, which can also be used as heating. Bedroom 1 has a box spring bed 180 x 200 cm and a large terrace. Bedroom 2 has a box spring bed 160 x 200 cm and a small balcony. Both the terrace and the balcony offer you a breathtaking panoramic view of the Libyan Sea, the Paximadi Islands and the Ida Mountains. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and underfloor heating. In the storage room there is a washing machine, a dryer, 1 iron and ironing board, hoover and various other cleaning items.
For small children there is a foldable cot and cot linen and an inflatable children's pool.
1 air mattress, 1 swim chair, children's games, children's books, board games, books, guide books, DVD's, DVD player, 2 camping chairs and 1 beach umbrella are also provided.
The private pool with lighting is easily accessible from the terrace at the house. There are sun loungers around the pool. An outdoor shower allows you to quickly refresh yourself. There are 1 covered terraces and 1 conservatory. One is directly by the pool and is equipped with patio furniture and a barbecue. You can use the conservatory flexibly with electrically operated awnings. It is equipped with a comfortable dining/lounge set.
The villa has 100 m² of living space on a 2000 m² plot. You can access the property through an electrically operated rolling gate with a remote control and park the car directly at the house.
The Mediterranean garden is planted with shady olive trees, carob trees, citrus fruits, herbs and numerous fragrant and flowering plants. The garden and pool are regularly maintained.

Tymbaki offers numerous shopping facilities, doctors and a weekly market every Friday - approx. 11 km
Mires with the well known and worth seeing weekly market on Saturday, a big German discounter and many more shopping possibilities and doctors - 20 km
Matala: the former famous hippie town - 20 km
Spili with the famous lion head fountain - 24 km
Heraklion: airport and ferry approx. 65 km (public transport to and from Agia Galini)
The house can be reached by public transport, however we recommend a rental car to explore the numerous, important sights in the vicinity the historical archaeological site of Phaistos, the famous beautiful Komos Beach , but also for hikers the area is ideal. Villa Iremia can be easily reached by car from Heraklion in about 1 hour. The road to the house is passable with a normal car.

Place and location of the accommodation
The villa is located about 2.8 km from the idyllic village of Agia Galini (south coast of Crete). Here you will find numerous restaurants and taverns, shopping facilities, shops for daily needs and services.
Description of the place
The beach and the beautiful harbour town of Agia Galini are only five minutes away by car and offer dozens of excellent tavernas, restaurants and kafenions ... more than enough choice for anyone filled with Crete's inimitable warmth and friendliness.
The larger towns of Tymbaki and Mires (10 and 20 minutes drive respectively) offer an excellent selection of shops and have weekly markets with wonderful fresh produce and a variety of daily necessities. These towns also have extensive medical facilities.
Lovely and quiet beaches are nearby along the south coast and many within a quarter to half hour's drive.
Try Kommos or Matala, Trio Petra or Agios Giorgios, or take a trip to the fantastic Samaria Gorge to start a walk in a stunning piece of nature's beauty.
And don't forget to explore history with visits to one of the world's oldest civilisations (the Minoans), many sites and excavations. The nearby Palace of Phaestos or the ruined city of Gortyn are only 20-30 minutes away.
In addition, Agia Galini offers great boat trips to neighbouring beaches, bays and small islands, as well as to the two Paximadia islands floating sublimely in Messara Bay (visible from your villa window). Preveli Beach Lagoon, with its two monasteries and small palm forest, is a delight and well worth boarding a boat for. Alternatively, drive there ... it's no more than 40 minutes by car.
Other activities
Crete offers plenty to keep a large family busy and fully relaxed on either a short or long holiday, but here in the south things are a little more relaxed.
Lounging or playing in the villa's private pool or just spending the day on a quiet nearby beach are the preferred choices of many of our past guests. They tell us about their plans, but always find everything they need and relax very quickly.
Dining out in Agia Galini is simply superb. With lots of choice, you will be greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. You will find everything you need and much more.
Local events
Agia Galini hosts an annual Greek music festival (usually in August) and Easter in Greece is a time of great celebrations and festivals.

We had a great holiday and can highly recommend it. It is in a great location with a great view. The interior and exterior equipment is great and you have everything you need. It's not far to the beach.

Beautiful house with skimming pool in a quiet area
The house is fully furnished, everything you need is there.
The house is in a quiet location and with a beautiful view, a 10 minute drive from Agia Galini.
The only negatieve point is the terrible Road to the house.
But it was a fantastisch holiday.
The owners are also always accessible.
