Our large and bright 4**** star holiday flat (DTV) is located on the upper floor of a two-family house in Norden, probably the oldest town in East Frisia.
Shops for daily needs are nearby (Norder Tor), the beach and ferry port to the islands of Juist and Norderney can be reached by car within 10 minutes.

Great, but only if you book both apartments.

My husband and I were looking forward to a calm slide into the new year and were excited for the short holiday in Norden and the brand new vacation apartment on the ground floor of the single-family house! It was offered to us because we were only arriving as a couple and the apartment upstairs, which can accommodate six people, was available for rent. Communication with the landlord and his assistant was top-notch. Upon arrival, we found a very clean and truly tastefully and contemporary furnished apartment! In front of the stove, there was a basket of firewood, and in the fridge, a bottle of sparkling wine was waiting for us! Nothing was missing! The bedroom was well-tempered and really spacious. The living-dining room was cozy, with great lighting and in beautiful light colors. But after the landlord left the house following the key handover, deafening noise could be heard coming from the upstairs apartment, as the two apartments are only separated by a room door. The music was loud (no, it wasn't New Year's yet!), the singing was also loud, and it wasn't even 5 pm. The landlord had kindly tried to intervene, but we suspected that it wouldn't "bear fruit" in the long term. So we left again after two hours... Our recommendation, therefore: a fantastic vacation awaits you when you are alone in the house. It is best to rent the entire house if you want peace, as it is really very noisy.
