The first point of call on the Schlei can be reached on foot, by bike or by car after just 5 km and, if necessary, you can stop off at the Missunder Fährhaus to enjoy the view over the Schlei from the sun terrace

If you want to visit a family and leisure park with the whole family, you can start an eventful day trip just 2 km away in the village of Tolk. (barbecue areas, roller coaster, summer toboggan run, dinosaur park)

The Schlei Region
It's worth going on a discovery tour here, because rarely has a landscape been so shaped by nature as the Schlei. It is an arm of the Baltic Sea that runs from Schleimünde to Schleswig and is almost 43 km long. With its very different widths, it is a popular destination for walkers, cyclists, sailors and anglers.
There are also opportunities to visit an exhibition, enjoy a regional speciality or visit historical gardens, manor houses and castles. Many events invite you to take part in entertaining activities
Along the Schlei you will find interesting places such as Schleswig, Missunde, Lindaunis, Sieseby (thatched-roof village), Bad Arnis (Germany's smallest town), Kappeln and Maasholm.
You can book deep-sea fishing tours from Maasholm, Kappeln or Eckernförde. The herring season on the Schlei is famous among anglers.

Relaxed winter holiday by the sea
We were guests at the Autal holiday home over the New Year to spend a quiet New Year's Eve. The little house is very cozy, equipped with everything one needs: a very well-equipped kitchen, a beautiful, modern bathroom, as well as cozy living and bedrooms. Since we have two dogs, the holiday home was the perfect choice for us. The fireworks in the tranquil Scholderup/Taarstedt were relatively short-lived. The place is also a wonderful starting point for excursions to the Baltic Sea, to Eckernförde, Schleswig, or Flensburg.
The contact with the Herbers-Behrendt family was always smooth and friendly. A small surprise for our welcome was also ready.
We felt very comfortable and can warmly recommend the accommodation!

Super accommodation for those seeking tranquility.
We were welcomed by a wonderful house, with great furnishings and cleanliness. The location is very quiet with a view of green meadows in a tranquil village. It is a good starting point for bike tours, and it is not far to the Baltic Sea. As in all areas, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find small bakeries or shopping options, but you didn't have to drive far either. The hosts are always approachable and very friendly. We will come back. Our son also felt very comfortable.

Vacation home Autal
A very beautiful holiday home located in a rural area. We lacked nothing. Contact and small requests were well handled and fulfilled quickly. It was simply optimal for us. We are grateful for this stay. This house must definitely be maintained as it is. You can go anywhere from here if you are mobile. Would gladly come back. We were here for the second time. Relaxed Vacation
The house and the location are great.
A good starting point for a walk with a dog, right across the street you can start.
Quiet side street, lovingly furnished, very nice landlords, quick response by email. Schleifähre Missunde in 5 km.

A dream
We felt very comfortable. Everything was there....great facilities, super nice house. Unfortunately, the weather was not so nice, so we couldn't go swimming. But going to the Baltic Sea in the rain....not everyone can do that. Highly recommended.
