The Schlei Region
It's worth going on a discovery tour here, because rarely has a landscape been so shaped by nature as the Schlei. It is an arm of the Baltic Sea that runs from Schleimünde to Schleswig and is almost 43 km long. With its very different widths, it is a popular destination for walkers, cyclists, sailors and anglers.
There are also opportunities to visit an exhibition, enjoy a regional speciality or visit historical gardens, manor houses and castles. Many events invite you to take part in entertaining activities
Along the Schlei you will find interesting places such as Schleswig, Missunde, Lindaunis, Sieseby (thatched-roof village), Bad Arnis (Germany's smallest town), Kappeln and Maasholm.
You can book deep-sea fishing tours from Maasholm, Kappeln or Eckernförde. The herring season on the Schlei is famous among anglers.

A dream
We felt very comfortable. Everything was there....great facilities, super nice house. Unfortunately, the weather was not so nice, so we couldn't go swimming. But going to the Baltic Sea in the rain....not everyone can do that. Highly recommended.

It doesn't get any better than this !
We really liked it very much in this really beautiful cottage
The house is very lovingly furnished and we really wanted for nothing.
I don't know if it will be this year, but we will definitely be in touch again to explore the area in more detail, perhaps in the summer.
PS: the box spring bed is a dream

Relaxed holiday
The house is very beautiful and equipped with everything you need. It is lovingly and stylishly furnished. Personally, I was very happy with the location. You could get to interesting places quickly and you had peace and quiet on site. The contact by mail with the owners was friendly, problem-free and also fast. We will be happy to come back.

Well-being holiday
We enjoyed our holiday in this lovely and harmoniously furnished house very much. We were welcomed with a bottle of sparkling wine and a bottle of water for which we thank you very much. We immediately felt at home. Everything you need is there. We especially liked the very comfortable box spring bed. The surroundings of the house are very quiet and rural, a blessing for city dwellers. The neighbours are also very nice and helpful. We can imagine spending another holiday in these cute little houses.

Tolles Urlaubsdomizil

Holiday in July

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus
Wir hatten in dem sehr schönen Haus eine tolle Zeit! Es fehlte eigentlich an nichts.Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett!
Man muss allerdings mobil sein.

Recovery in the Autal valley

Eine schöne Zeit im Autal
Wir waren absolut zufrieden. Die Ausstattung, der Pflegezustand, einfach alles war auf höchstem Niveau für ein Ferienhaus. Es sind sogar Fahrräder ,die wir leider wegen des Wetters nicht nutzen konnten, und eine Garage vorhanden.
Einfach ein rundes Paket.

Verträumtes Reetdachhaus
Ein wirklich sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus mit hochwertigen Geräten und Möbeln (Boxspringbett). Man fühlt dich direkt Zuhause. Es fehlt an nichts. Man wird liebevoll willkommen geheißen mit einer Flasche Wasser, einer Flasche Sekt und einer Packung Kaffeekapseln (Filtermaschine ebenfalls vorhanden). Täglich werden Brötchen vor der Tür gelegt falls gewünscht . Einziges Manko: Toilette nur im EG. Schlafzimmer in der 1.EG über steile Treppe, die für uns kein Problem war aber für ältere Menschen und Kinder schon. Ein Treppengitter für Kinder ist vorhanden . Insgesamt ein TOP-Haus für alle die gut zu Fuß sind. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Pure Erholung

Süßes und sehr gut ausgestattetes Haus
Das Haus haben wir für einen Urlaub zu Zweit im Winter gebucht und es hat wirklich alles gestimmt.
Die Lage ist sofern man ein Auto hat sehr gut und man kann Ostsee, Nordsee, Dänemark und Hamburg in max 1 Std erreichen.
Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, besonders hat uns hier das Bett, der TV und die Küche gefallen.
Einziges Manko ist die fehlende Spülmaschine und die niedrigen Decken. Aber dies kann man locker verschmerzen, zu mal der Preis sehr gut ist und die Familie wirklich sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Wir können das Ferienhaus nur empfehlen.

Ein süßes Haus
Wir haben uns in dem Häuschen wohl gefühlt und einen schönen, wenn auch kurzen Urlaub verbracht, zur Erholung ideal.Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und mit moderneren, aber auch schönen, alten Einrichtungsgegenständen versehen und sehr gut erhalten. Es fehlt an nichts( ausser vielleicht an einem Mixer?), die Küche ist zweckmäßig.Der Garten ist hübsch und morgens kann man auf der Terrasse sehr schön in der Sonne sitzen.Eine Garage ist vorhanden.
Als leiser Kritikpunkt wäre zu bemerken, dass in dem Haus eine, für meinen Geschmack, zu hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit herrschte, was aber vielleicht mit dem Alter des Häuschens zu erklären ist und die Matratzen waren von sehr unterschiedlicher Beschaffenheit.
Als zusätzlichen Komfort wäre ein Festnetz und Internet-Anschluß angenehm, denn im Haus und zum größten Teil auch in der Umgebung hatte mein Handy keine Chance auf Empfang.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Die Umgebung ist sehr ländlich und schön ruhig.Als Ausflugsziel ist sicherlich die Wikingersiedlung Haithbu bei Schleswig und alle weiteren größeren Ortschaften( Eckernförde, Kapplen, Maasholm ) zu empfehlen.
free time activities: Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass das Haus für Radsportler und Kanubegeisterte ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Touren wäre.
shopping facilities: Das Dorf selber hat, bis auf einen sehr nett geführten"Tante Emma-Laden" kaum Infrastruktur, ein Auto ist empfehlenswert.
