Description

Not only the land is generous. Even the house itself has extraordinary dimensions. The type 't Zwin has a living space of more than nine meters long, a pleasant sense of space. This feeling is emphasized by the large glass doors to both terraces, which are located on the sides of the living room. The house has an open kitchen and an externally accessible storage. The hallway provides access to the living room and the toilet and has a staircase to the upper floor. There you will find three bedrooms and a bathroom with shower, sink and second toilet. The property is completely fenced and ideal for small children or dog ownership.
We are not the cheapest accommodation in the park, but also not the most expensive.
If you value a beautiful garden, a complete equipment and a tasteful interior, then you are exactly right with us.

The house is located on the site of the former fortress "Fort Frederik Hendrik". 1998 saw there the most beautiful holiday park in the region: the beach Scheldeveste. The park is located on the west side of the ferry almost on the beach directly behind the dunes. Only the dunes separating the park from the sea and 11km long, sandy regardless of wind and weather to be, the park offers an indoor pool, a gymnasium and an adventure island for Kinder.Üppige lawns, shade trees and hedges provide wind protection and privacy, underline the pleasant atmosphere of the park. Enjoy the distinctive alternating between pretty, detached holiday houses, gardens and water areas of the extremely well-kept parks. Zeeland is a holiday destination popular for its clean, wide beaches and its clear water. Water is everywhere here. Not only the lake, but also calm water inland are suitable for any kind of water. Pollard willows and poplars along the old dike paths characterize the our house is surrounded by water. The holiday Scheldeveste is crisscrossed with canals and the house has a small jetty. And up to 11km long sandy beach is within walking just 5 minutes because there behind the dike situated came directly from its central location on the North Sea to blossom. Over the centuries, has fought a lot to this strategic fishing. The fortifications around Breskens are evidence of it still. From Fort "Frederik Hendrik" is now a part of the fortification is still recognizable: the wide moats (canals) that enclose the beach Scheldeveste. The area has remained untouched for many years and was only used agriculturally. This circumstance we owe our holiday paradise right on the North Sea beach and at the same time within walking distance from the center of the fishing village Breskens. To the history of the place, on the 1998, the Holiday Park "beach Scheldeveste" has been created to highlight, one has the original "canal", which ran around the fort received, and new water areas on the park grounds themselves still had to 2004 large as the ferry ferry to Flushing importance. Cancellation terms:

If the tenant cancels the lease for any reason, the tenant will pay the following compensation: a) 25% of the rental amount if the cancellation is made more than 3 months before the start of the lease b) 50% of the rental amount if the cancellation is made between one and 3 months before the start of the lease c) 75% of the rental amount if the cancellation is made from one month to one week before the start of the lease d) 100% of the rental amount if the cancellation is made less than a week before the start of the lease We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance (possibly with COVID-19 travel protection).

The House is completely fenced and perfect as a holiday home for a holiday with dog. Also the House is situated about 5 minutes from the 11 km-long sandy beach, where dogs are allowed.

Dream vacation in a dream house

After over 15 years, we unfortunately had to sell our chalet at Strandpark Breskens in 2019, as new, modern holiday homes were to be built on our site. Out of pure curiosity, we decided to rent a little house at Strandpark Scheldeveste in 2020.

After the first contact with the wonderful owners, it was clear... we had to get this house. Unfortunately, Corona came in between, so we had to reschedule our stay twice (very uncomplicated and at no extra cost). Finally arrived and with a completely smooth key handover, we were greeted by a very clean, bright, friendly, and tastefully decorated house that left nothing to be desired. The garden is laid out with a lot of intelligence and love, so you constantly have the opportunity to lie/sit/eat in both the shade and the sun. The location is also very good, as it takes 2 minutes to walk to the beach and 10 minutes to the nearest supermarket, yet this house is very quiet. Everything was PERFECT for us, our parents, our child, and our dog!

Thank you again for EVERYTHING, and we are already looking forward to the next time (((-:

Absolutely recommendable

even before our vacation, we had a very good feeling. Every contact was very friendly, quick, and satisfying.
The house was very, very clean and well-equipped. Your attention to detail was clear. A tasteful ambiance made the holiday perfect. The house leaves nothing to be desired. A big compliment to you. It is evident that you care about your holiday guests, as you also wrote nice words after the vacation. We don't take that for granted. Excellent, any time again!

Super nice well-kept holiday home with very good facilities. Beautifully landscaped garden with several seating areas. We had a super nice week here in this great house. Nothing was missing. The landlords were super accommodating and very friendly from start to finish. Simply excellent!

Fantastic holiday in a dream house

With 2 standard poodles, the spacious garden, the garden house, the covered terrace with wind protection, and a tastefully furnished house, holidays there are simply beautiful. From the generous amenities to the loving details, perfectly clean and well-maintained, even down to the laundry room, one can clearly see the landlord's touch. Unfortunately, this house, like Pura Vida, is completely booked for the desired dates in 2022. Thank you once again for your hospitality.

FEEL GOOD!

Who knows this feeling? You unlock the front door and feel at home....

The Beatrix house is very tastefully and modernly furnished, equipped with everything you need, and very clean. The garden offers space for two- and four-legged friends and also the possibility to relax alone. The location couldn't be better as it's only a few minutes to the clean beach. A paradise for humans and dogs. I think even our grandchildren would have felt "poodle comfortable" here. The landlords are very nice and always respond promptly to questions. Thank you very much for the welcome gift :-)

Wunderschönes und komfortables Ferienhaus

We have been to Breskens many times, but never in such a beautiful house. The Haus Beatrix is by far the best house we have ever had. It is tastefully decorated, everything is of high quality and well thought out. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the house is outstanding, as is the equipment. Nothing was missing and everything worked. We will never want to rent another house in Breskens again. If only all holiday home owners were as courteous and friendly as the Arkesteijn family.

Highly recommended!

We have now been to this house for the second time. The landlords are very nice and correct and very concerned that you feel comfortable in their house. Communication was always prompt. The house itself was one of the cleanest holiday homes we have ever been in. The equipment is with attention to detail, we absolutely did not miss anything. The garden is completely fenced and well maintained. Ideal for dogs, as they cannot get under or over the fence. The icing on the cake was the bottle of welcome sparkling wine that was waiting for us on the table when we arrived :-). The beach pavilions have been newly and modernly restored. However, if you have a fear of dogs, Breskens is not the right place for you ;-). The density of dogs is very high, but we have never had a problem with unpleasant dog owners, everyone there is very relaxed, which is why the dogs are too ;-). We will definitely go back there.

Great holiday home right by the sea.

We have been coming to Breskens for many years. The Beatrix house was our nicest vacation home so far. It is decorated with a lot of love and has a large garden with three (!!!) terraces. Our dog also loved the garden. We will definitely come back again! The contact was also really nice and always available for us. Any questions we had were promptly answered. Thanks again for that.

Tip Top Accommodation

For the second time, we spent our vacation in this lovely holiday home. Starting from the very nice contact with the landlord; the very tasteful furnishings of the house; the beautifully landscaped garden (a paradise for dog owners); the cleanliness of the house; we have nothing to complain about, the house is definitely worth its price. The surroundings with the great cities also leave nothing to be desired. We would love to come back.
