Very nice holiday home

We spent a very nice week here with our dog.
The location directly behind the dunes is perfect. There are shopping facilities nearby. The garden is fully fenced.
The house is very well equipped and the reception and departure were very friendly.
There is a very steep staircase from the garage to the upper floor where 2 of the 3 bedrooms are located.
This may be less suitable for families with young children
As our son is already in his teens, this was not a problem.
We would rent the house again and again.

Top location

We have been in the same house with our Waldi 4 times now with 2 people. The facilities are ok. You can do your shopping at Aldi and Lidl within 15 minutes. There are cosy markets in the small towns. The beach and the dunes are the best there is. The service on site is good.

If the owners ever intend to sell the house, I would appreciate an early insider tip.

Very nice house

The house is close to the dunes and you can walk to the sea in 5 minutes. The furnishings are cosy and very clean. There are 2 terraces, one in front and one behind the house. The high walls ensure privacy. Our dogs also felt very comfortable.

Gladly again

For the second time in 5 years, we (with our dog) enjoyed a relaxing holiday here.
Everything was as expected, and when there was a small technical issue, the friendly contact person was immediately available and could help directly.

The only downside was that construction was happening on the neighboring property (which should be finished now), but since we were out and about a lot, the inconvenience was not a big issue for us.

If we find ourselves in the region again, we would gladly come back!

House Laurence Lindbergh Plage

We really enjoyed our holiday in House Laurence and can only recommend it. It is in a great location, only a few metres from the dunes and the beach. The two terraces are perfectly aligned, the new bathroom is very nice, the other furnishings are not quite new, but absolutely sufficient for us. The reception and return were also very friendly.

Haus Laurence gladly again

We have found a perfect holiday home for us. Close to the dunes and the beach. Quite sheltered from the wind, as you can fully utilize the large, completely fenced garden both from the living area towards the street and directly from the kitchen in the rear part. The adjoining garage provides optimal space for storage and supplies. The kitchen utensils are just sufficient but could occasionally benefit from a little "refreshment" to be complete, as well as the cleaning items like vacuum cleaner and broom.

The sleeping arrangements on the upper floor are very nice, but only accessible via the relatively narrow staircase, which could be problematic for a larger suitcase or dogs. The manager was very punctual and very friendly. We felt completely welcome and settled in and thoroughly enjoyed the three weeks. If possible, we would like to come back.

Restful time in Normandy

The location of the house is simply great. Being able to walk directly with the dog into the dunes and to the sea is fantastic. The extensive equipment is as described, everything is available and much more... from firewood to pegs :-))). We were four with a dog and really enjoyed our stay. The sound of the waves soothes the soul. Walks on the beach and in the dunes are relaxing. Shops are nearby (the bakery in Portbail comes highly recommended). The reception was very welcoming, just like the entire communication with the managers.
We would love to come back!

Great days in Normandy

The location with its immediate proximity to the sea was simply awesome. The daily walks on the seemingly endless sandy beach with our dog make us not forget the holiday so quickly. Additionally, the weather was perfect for the whole 2 weeks.
The house was in a clean and visually very good condition. The equipment was also as described, with Wi-Fi, television, the electrical devices, everything worked flawlessly. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bathroom very spacious and modern. The outdoor area was well-maintained, and especially the two terraces, facing east and west, could be used with or without sun as needed. Our dog could freely roam thanks to the sturdy fencing and greet passersby.
Due to the proximity to the sea, one could hear the sound of the Atlantic Ocean day and night in the quiet side street. That was balm for the soul.

Oasis of tranquility near the beach

The house and its location in the village or on the Cotentin Peninsula are ideal for people who do not want to spend their vacation "lost" in their car: the beach and sights are not far apart. In addition, here one can enjoy a well-deserved rest, far from home. Although in summer, the French people like to spend their holidays here as well, you will hardly notice. There seems to be an endless amount of space in this region of France.

Everything is fine.

Very nice house, with a very good room layout. The equipment left nothing to be desired. It was optimal for us (2 people with a dog). We would definitely rent the house again and can recommend it without reservation.

Great vacation with dogs

We stayed in this house for the second time this year with our two dogs and felt very comfortable again. I want to highlight the equipment in the house once again for this vacation: everything is really perfect in the kitchen for self-catering. There are woolen blankets in case it gets too cold. Garden chairs, tables, and even loungers were available for the terraces in front and behind the house. I was able to wash our laundry with the washing machine and dryer. The bathroom was newly renovated and modern with a large shower.
The beach is a 5-minute walk away. The supermarket, the port, and the town center with a great bakery are also not far.
We would go on vacation there again at any time.

Great house, super location, very nice service

We stayed at House Laurence for the first time in June. The house is perfectly equipped, especially the kitchen. There was nothing missing. It was great for our two dogs that the property is completely fenced in, so we could let them run free.
The terraces in front and behind the house are also perfect, so we could always sit in the sun.
The location couldn't be better, you can walk to the beach in a few minutes. We could still let our dogs run on the beach without a leash in June. That was great
Both the agency of the house and the reception there were very friendly and helpful.
We would come back again and again.

Great vacation home!

For a month, we (a couple aged 60 and 65) were able to enjoy this wonderful holiday home. The location is perfect, quiet and close to the beach and dunes. A well-enclosed garden, perfect for our 2 dogs. A nice kitchen, with all desired equipment and a door opening to the garden, a lovely living room with a spacious dining table, a comfortable sofa, and a fireplace that we lit every evening. Since we were only 2 people, we slept in the downstairs bedroom where the mattress was great, an important aspect for us as we have experienced otherwise in the past. Although the weather was very changeable with a lot of rain and storms, we enjoyed our 4-week holiday. Every day with the dogs on the beach, long walks through the dunes, it was a joy. We are already looking forward to next year as we will definitely come back.

Great house, great vacation!

We spent two wonderful weeks here in the most glorious weather. We loved the holiday home! The kitchen is excellently equipped. Nothing is missing. The beds and seating are comfortable and cozy. We could enjoy the morning sun on the terrace behind the house in the mornings and hear the sea and experience the sunset on the terrace in front of the house in the evenings. Our dogs could roam freely on the property. Overall, we felt extremely well taken care of in every aspect! We can only recommend the house. It has charm and character! We would love to come back anytime!

Perfect!

Once again, we were able to spend beautiful days in the dreamy Normandy. For the first time in this very well-equipped house. Everything was truly perfect. The very friendly welcome and detailed tour through the house (another big thank you to Nathalie!) including a small welcome gift from the landlord. The kitchen is very well-equipped with many high-quality cooking utensils. It made you really want to cook at home. A cozy living room with a fireplace, which we used multiple times, even when it wasn't cold - just for the atmosphere. Then it had 3 lovely bedrooms, a large bathroom, a ground floor toilet, and a practical toilet on the 1st floor. Very convenient is also the shower in the garage, where we could rinse off Higgins (our Jack Russell) and our feet after beach walks. The way to the beach is very short, yet the location of the house is very quiet. I could write soooo much more and rave about it. But I think it's enough if I write, we have already booked for next year again. This time for 3 weeks. We are already looking forward to it!

Great house, close to the beach.

The house features three beautiful bedrooms, a large and well-equipped kitchen, a cozy living/dining room with a fireplace, and a very short walk to the beach. A special highlight for us was also the shower tray in the garage, which provided direct access to the house. Here, we could rinse off our dog's paws after beach walks, saving us from having a sandy floor in the house. The on-site contact was very friendly and helpful! We will gladly come back here for vacation at any time.

Ferienhaus Laurence

We were already the second time in this house, which is quite close to the beach and has a beautiful and well-kept property. Also, everything in the house is clean and well-maintained. The care by a lady who lives nearby is great, but has to take place in the local language. We have the Larousse with us and then there's a lot of fun. The kitchen is very well equipped and offers everything you need, even a scale! The furnishings are good. There is a large dining table in the living room and a small one in the relatively large kitchen. We will come back next year!
