The chalet is currently being renovated and from November 2020 will offer you 140 m² of space for up to 8 people.

Location and surroundings of object
This exceptional chalet is located just under 10 minutes by car from the centre. A restaurant is within walking distance and the next shopping facilities are about 7 minutes by car.
The ski lift Stubnerkogel can be reached in about 10 minutes by car, the next ski bus station (line 567 violet) in 10 minutes on foot. The ski depot directly at the gondola is also recommendable. Bad Gastein, also known as the Monte Carlo of the Alps, is located in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park at 1,100m above sea level. From the ski slope directly into the thermal bath - two incomparable thermal baths surrounded by a unique mountain panorama, you can only find this in Gastein. More than 200 kilometres of slopes spread over a total of 4 ski areas with the latest lifts and top snow guarantee await winter sports fans. A variety of slopes in the extensive ski area and cosy huts invite you to unlimited skiing and snowboarding fun. The high alpine Sportgastein () is known as a freerider's Eldorado and makes every freerider's heart beat faster.
Our tip: The music festival Sound & Snow with numerous international artists on stage. In summer you can go on numerous wonderful hikes, bicycle and biking tours. An excursion to nearby Salzburg ( hours by car) is also worth a trip. Golf lovers also get their money's worth.

Top holiday home
We spent a week in the Chalet Gamskar "Herzlhaus" and enjoyed this week. The house is a bit secluded but very beautiful and quiet. It is very well equipped. We were there with four people and our two dogs. We didn't miss anything and can therefore only recommend this house.

The perfect idyll
We spent a wonderful vacation in this idyllic holiday home in Bad Gastein. The house is located in a quiet side street on a hill. It is surrounded by trees and meadows and offers a great view of the valley.
The house is very spacious and comfortable. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a large living and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need for cooking. The living and dining area is very cozy (especially the sofas) and has a fireplace that creates a cozy atmosphere on cold winter evenings.
The landlords are very friendly and helpful. The entire process was perfect and smooth.
I can fully recommend this holiday home. It is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation in the mountains.

Beautiful chalet in an outstanding location
We spent our holiday in this really great holiday home under excellent weather conditions. The house has a large living/dining area with an open kitchen. The furnishings and fittings leave nothing to be desired.
The downstairs bathroom is very modern and has a large walk-in shower and pleasant underfloor heating. Upstairs are the three cosy bedrooms, all equipped with large flat-screen TVs.
The large terrace invites you to sunbathe even in winter. Thanks to the existing fencing of the property, our dogs could move freely there.
Due to the location, there is almost no noise or traffic. The proximity to the Gamskar restaurant (approx. 400 m) tempts us to many a culinary visit. The approach to the chalet is a bit "adventurous" on the last kilometres in winter. You should make sure that your vehicle is well equipped for winter. The contact with the host family Peters was very friendly and completely unproblematic. We would gladly spend our holiday there again at any time and can highly recommend the house without hesitation.

Everything is right
For us, it felt like coming home. This house welcomes with cosiness, the location is enchanting, the view is incredible, if you go into the day at breakfast, to see directly into the mountains. We had sun, snow, 1 day some rain but with this cosiness of the house, not bad, with a book on the couch........

A great holiday home all round!
We spent a week in the Chalet Gamskar and felt comfortable from the beginning. The journey and the check-in were problem-free thanks to a good description in advance. It is located in a green area above Bad Gastein with few neighbouring houses around.
The house is modern yet cosily furnished, I would describe it as alpine-chic. Rustic with a touch of luxury.
The lower floor consists mainly of a large eat-in kitchen (perfectly equipped!) with adjoining living room. Comfortable sofa and TV even with Netflix/Prime available in case the weather is not so great ;-)
The bathroom on the lower floor is also new and very spacious.
Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms, some with balcony, also all with TV - as well as another bathroom and toilet. Here, too, everything is newly designed.
Highlights are certainly the outdoor sauna and the large terrace with a view of Bad Gastein and the mountains.
You can start hiking directly from the house, which is particularly practical (e.g. on the high-altitude hiking trail, fantastic views!). In 5 minutes you can also walk to a restaurant-café, very good home cooking.
Bad Gastein is about 15 minutes away by car.
The landlords responded very quickly to emails, so everything was great in that respect too.
We can highly recommend the house and will gladly come back!

Sehr gut
Wir(6 Erwachsene und1 Kleinkind) hatten ein wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Chalet. Das Haus ist sehr schön und super ausgestattet. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet und alles war sehr sauber. In der Küche findet man wirklich alles bis hin zum weinkühler.
Der gemütliche Holzofen im Wohnbereich und die dazugehörige sauna runden die Sache ab.

Feel good and enjoy
We (4 adults and 3 children) had a wonderful semester holiday week in Chalet Gamskar. The house is furnished with great attention to detail, the kitchen is perfectly equipped for self-catering and you immediately feel at home. We especially liked the feel-good bathroom and the spacious sauna. We would love to come back again!

Einfach nur wunderbar !
In diesem Chalet kann man sich einfach nur wohlfühlen. Alle Räume sind mit viele
liebe zum Detail eingerichtet.
Sehr gemütlicher und geräumiger Wohn-Essbereich und eine komfortabel ausgestattete Küche. Das "Wohlfühlbad" im Erdgeschoss ist schlicht weg der Hammer! Nach dem Skifahren war die geräumige Sauna für uns das Highlight. Sie ist einfach zu bedienen und schnell auf Betriebstemperatur. Das Skigebiet selbst, ist mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen und ließ für uns keine Wünsche offen. Die Aussicht vom Chalet auf Bad Gastein ist vor allen Dingen bei Nacht beeindruckend. Wir haben uns sehr erholt und kommen bestimmt wieder. Vielen Dank an Fam. Peters für dieses wunderschöne Chalet.

Ein toller Winterurlaub in einem super schönen Haus!
Wir haben das Chalet Gamskar als Familie (6 Erwachsene + 1 Kind + 1 Hund) für ein paar Tage Winterurlaub gebucht und waren begeistert! Das Haus ist so toll eingerichtet, man hat sich direkt wohl gefühlt. Es wurde an sehr viele Kleinigkeiten gedacht und der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war auch super.
Wir können dieses Haus nur empfehlen und würden auch selbst hier immer wieder gerne herkommen. Vielen Dank Familie Peters! :)

Traumhaft schön - perfekt für Bewegung & Entspannung
Das Chalet Gamskar ist im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes ein "Herzlhaus". Es wurde mit viel Liebe geplant, gestaltet und dekoriert. Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt und haben die Tage dort sehr genossen. Das Haus ist voll ausgestattet, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Außensauna ist nach den Wanderungen der perfekte Tagesabschluss.
Wir konnten direkt vom Haus aus loswandern. Sehr zu empfehlen sind:
- Wasserfallweg über die Kaiser-Wilhelm-Promenade und durch Bad Gastein
- Wanderweg zur Prossaualm vorbei an der Himmelwandhütte
- Aufstieg zur Poserhöhe
- Wanderung und Seilbahnfahrt zum Graugokel
Mit dem Auto haben wir auf folgenden Gipfeln Sonne getankt und auch den ersten Schnee erlebt:
- Seilbahn zur Schlossalm und Wanderung zum Gipfelkreuz
- Sportgastein (Absoltes Highlight!)
- Zell am See (Wandern, Shoppingmöglichkeiten, tolles Panorama)
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Traumhaus
Wir haben enorm genossen. Das Haus ist ein Traum und man kann sehen wie liebevoll und bis ins Detail sie die Einrichtung ausgeführt haben.
Es war eine wundervolle Auszeit und wir werden Ihr Haus gerne weiterempfehlen.
Unsere 2 Hunde haben jeden morgen die Nase in die Luft geworfen, weil nachts oft Rotwild durchs Nachbargrundstück gelaufen ist und wo unsere Buben dann morgens die Verwehung aufgenommen haben.

Wunderschöne und erlebnisreiche Auszeit
Das Chalet bietet alles, was das Herz begehrt. Wunderschöne Aussicht ins Tal und in die Berge. Sehr ruhig und schön gelegen; Wanderwege starten direkt am Haus. Tolle gemütliche Zimmer ausgestattet mit modernem und alpinem Flair. Die große sonnige Terrasse, die hervorragend ausgestattete Küche und das große Wohlfühlbad tragen zur besten Erholung bei....eben ein "Herzlhaus".

A dream in the mountains!
Great chalet, very beautifully renovated to a high standard! Super beautiful view of the mountains and the valley. We felt very comfortable from the first minute. The location on the Höhenweg is nice and quiet. You can start many hikes directly from the house, and we highly recommend the Gamskar restaurant, which is within walking distance of Chalet Gamskar

Tolles Chalet in toller Umgebung
Wir durften ein paar wunderschöne Tage im Chalet Gamskar „Herzlhaus“ verbringen.
Alles war am Tag der Anreise für uns gerichtet. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen, perfekt für eine erholsame Auszeit.
Für uns war es ein rundum perfekter Urlaub, es fehlte nichts.
Man merkt, dass die Vermieter das Chalet auch selbst nutzen.
Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!
