Glowe is located directly on one of the most beautiful sandy beaches of Rügen, the famous approx. 9 km long Schaabe, a wooded spit between the Baltic Sea and the Bodden.
The new beach promenade invites you to stroll along. In the Glow sailing harbour you can watch the small or sometimes very large sailing boats sail in and out and enjoy the harbour atmosphere. Fishermen offer freshly caught fish directly from the cutter.
You can get fish specialities from the smoke in Glowe's small fish smokehouse on the beach promenade. This is where the local fishermen meet for a beer and then they have a 'tüchtig platt gesnackt'.
The island of Rügen is an experience at any time of year. Many kilometres of fine sandy beaches on the north and east coasts, white chalk cliffs on the Jasmund peninsula, extensive forests of soft green in spring, shady and secluded in summer, a wonderful play of colours in autumn. Let yourself be fascinated by the experience of an autumn storm or the wintry coast framed by ice floes.

Very pretty

Very nice vacation apartment.
Upon arrival, the first impression was very beautiful and the greeting was very friendly. One would love to come back here. Everything is satisfactory. The journey from Kitzscher was worth it. So, many thanks to Ms. Kästner for the beautiful vacation apartment.
