Detailed description of the holiday home "Schleipanorama":
Our holiday home "Schleipanorama" is located directly at the water on the steep coast at the beautiful Baltic Sea fjord Schlei. From our house and garden you have a magnificent view over the whole width of the Schlei. Enjoy this view and the maritime hustle and bustle in peace and quiet.
You have plenty of space both in the house and on the property.
The south-facing garden offers a bicycle shed, a lawn with garden furniture and a large barbecue. You can use other places on the property individually, depending on the position of the sun.
Next to the house on the property, there is a free parking space for your car.
The ground floor of the house has a bright living and dining room with panoramic windows overlooking the water. Through the patio door you can directly access the garden.
The kitchen has been renovated and redesigned and is fully equipped. It has all the appliances you need for your daily needs.
The bathroom, which is also new, has a shower at ground level and the entrance area with stairs to the upper floor complete the lower level.
On the upper floor are the spacious master bedroom, a second bathroom (with shower, bathtub, washbasin and toilet) and the youth bedroom, which is also suitable for adults
From the master bedroom you have a magnificent view over the whole "Große Breite".
For children, we have a toddler bed, a child safety door that can be attached to the stairs and a high chair.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home "Schleipanorama" is located in a holiday home area (Brodersby-Burg) that has grown over decades with old trees, winding paths and directly on the Schlei. Here, the holiday homes and gardens are lovingly tended by their owners. You have a lovely landscape before your eyes, here the Schlei is still pristine and beautiful.
Brodersby - Burg is characterised by a pretty bathing beach, which is only 150 m from the house. The shallow water and a slide island make this beach a popular stay even for non-swimmers. A large dog beach has been set up away from the bathing area.
In the small village of Brodersby, only five minutes by bike from the holiday home, you can shop at the "TopKauf" for rolls, bread, regional groceries, newspapers, books, holiday souvenirs and more in a relaxed way. With a cappuccino, you can comfortably browse through the information from the post office and tourist information in a nicely furnished seating area
Also in Brodersby you will find an organic butcher's shop, a cake house and a large marina with a small restaurant (Tonne 98). The beautiful old village church offers very popular concerts in summer
You can take a small car ferry across the Schlei to Eckernförde, or dine in the upscale atmosphere of the "Fährhaus Missunde" restaurant
You can also satisfy your small appetite at the ferry, where you can get fish sandwiches, drinks and ice cream.

The town of Schleswig, which is only a 10-minute drive away, offers a wealth of tourist attractions with the cathedral, the Viking Museum, the former grounds of the Federal Garden Show, a cart track and much more. From here you also have many opportunities for boat trips on the Schlei to the Baltic Sea. The Jagel water ski and wake park is located in the Jagel district.
The Baltic Sea is about 25 minutes away by car. In Eckernförde on the Eckernförde Bay you can buy freshly caught fish directly from fishing boats or go deep-sea fishing here. Eckernförde offers a beautiful and lively sandy beach, a lovely town centre for shopping, a high ropes course and a golf course.
Damp is a large holiday resort on the Baltic Sea. It is a former Olympic site and offers everything that makes a lively coastal resort. Among other things, there is also a water skiing track here.
The old rum town of Flensburg with its beautiful shopping street, cosy harbour and lovely backyards is worth a visit, as is the small town of Kappeln, known from the TV series "The Country Doctor". A highly recommendable café has now been opened there.
The North Sea is also not far away. Here you will find many other possibilities, such as boat trips to the Halligen, sea seal watching, mudflat walks, and much more. The wonderful sandy beach of Sankt-Peter-Ording with its colourful beach life (beach volleyball, kite meetings) is definitely worth a visit. There is even a direct train connection from Schleswig to Sylt.
You can choose between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea every day, as both destinations can be reached by car in the same amount of time. In the same amount of time, you can reach Denmark or the city of Rendsburg with the Kiel Canal, the beautiful old town and the legendary suspension ferry.
You are very close to a leisurely day at the beach. After only 150m from the holiday home "Schleipanorama" you reach a small bay with a sandy beach, sunbathing and play area, beach toilet, shower and slipway for sailing boats. You have a view of the Schlei in its full width and splendour all the way to Schleswig, and can thus watch the hustle and bustle of the sailors and excursion steamers for hours.
As you can see, there really are many destinations where you can see and experience something. You will find a full basket of flyers in the holiday home, because there are many more leisure activities than I can list here. And our nice housekeeper, Mrs Hansen, has even more ideas.
And then you also have the garden with that wonderful view.

How to find the holiday home "Schleipanorama":
The holiday home is located in the municipality of Brodersby / Burg an der Schlei. If you are coming by car, simply enter the following address into your sat nav:

Please pay attention to the postcode, because there is a second Brodersby near the Baltic Sea!
Without a sat nav, a short description of the way will help you:
Take the A7 towards Flensburg and take the Schleswig / Schuby exit.
At the roundabout, take the second exit in the direction of Schleswig / Kappeln.
After about four kilometres, turn right towards Missunde.
Turn left at the traffic lights.
Straight across the roundabout, after about ten kilometres (through Klensby and Füsing) you will reach the village of Brodersby.
At the crossroads (at the hairdresser) turn right (Missunder Fährstraße), at the next opportunity (after the village church) turn right again (Burger Weg) and drive to the end.
At the end of Burger Weg turn right and you are on Strandweg.
Continue along this road, passing the post box on the left.
Then this small road forks, please continue on the left side. The sandy road makes a left turn follows a slope and after 20 m you have reached your destination, Op de Höh 10. Drive onto the pitch: Welcome!

Very cozy
March was not particularly cozy this year, but the vacation home was. Coming back to the house after a walk in the cold wind and wet clothes, and looking out at the stormy Schlei from the warm living room, that is a vacation. We leave rejuvenated and satisfied, and will gladly come back again.

Beautiful house in beautiful landscape
The equipment is exemplary, everything is there that you need on a vacation. The kitchen has all the cooking utensils that we used to cook together in the evenings. The living spaces are cozy and tastefully furnished. The beds are super comfortable.
A special highlight was definitely the breathtaking view over the Schlei, which we could enjoy on the terrace and from the front windows. We are already looking forward to coming back next year.

Our stay at the Schleipanorama holiday home in Brodersby was simply fantastic! A dreamy spot
We arrived as a family with two children and wanted to experience a vacation where we could also enjoy the quiet moments. With this charming holiday home, we hit the jackpot. The holiday home Schlei panorama is the perfect place to escape everyday stress and enjoy the beauty of nature. Here we found peace, rest, and relaxation.
The holiday home itself is a cozy and comfortable temporary home. It has spacious and tastefully furnished rooms, the decor is cozy and stylish, and the large windows let in plenty of daylight while also providing a magnificent view of the Schlei.
It is worth highlighting that the house was spotlessly clean and the on-site support was very friendly.

Wonderful view and very cosy
We had this holiday home recommended to us by friends who have used it on and off for many years and it was a very good tip.
The house is lovingly and nicely furnished, is in a completely quiet location and has this fabulous view. The equipment is complete and the house was very thoroughly cleaned.
We also liked the fact that the lady of the house took good care of us and was able to give us lots of interesting tips.
Like our friends, we will probably come back as regular guests.

Absolutely satisfied regular guest.
We have often booked this holiday home, but we have not submitted a review because we found it too "taxing".
