Vacation with the family and dog

For the 9th time, we had the pleasure of vacationing in this charming accommodation. We always had a wonderful time in this holiday home. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with sweets, drinks, and treats for the dogs, and we immediately felt at home.
The house is not only clean and well-maintained, but also furnished with great attention to detail. You can immediately tell that comfort and quality are valued here. The kitchen is well equipped, making cooking together a lot of fun. We especially enjoyed the cozy terrace and the fenced garden, which also invites relaxation. The beds are all very comfortable, so we all had restful nights. The location is perfect. Quiet, yet close enough to reach all important attractions, restaurants, shopping options, etc. In short, this holiday home is a real stroke of luck. We can recommend it without reservation and would be very happy to return.

Beautiful cozy holiday home

By chance, I stumbled upon the badger burrow?
We found a great little house, well-equipped and with a fenced property for our four-legged family members ? ?, who could romp around extensively there.
We have absolutely nothing to complain about, we enjoyed our stay to the fullest! !
A highlight was that we could personally meet the landlady over a coffee chat ? We can recommend this accommodation with a clear conscience, whether with dogs and/or children!

Vacation in Dankern

The holiday home is very beautiful, it lacks nothing, equipped with everything one needs. We have been regularly going to the Badger's Den for 6 years, you just feel completely at home there. A beautiful house, a beautiful garden, not far from the beach... What more could you want? Also, the landlady, Mrs. Spork, is a super nice lady...

Go there, feel good, switch off, relax... I can only recommend it to everyone.

Super vacation home with everything you need.

We have now been to this house for the second time and not the last time! The house offers everything you need. Even a washing machine and a dishwasher! The garden is fenced, which is good if you are traveling with small children or a dog. Bicycles, play areas, and a great grilling spot invite you to linger in the garden. In winter, you can light the fireplace in the house, which is also great. All bedrooms have shutters, which is practical when children take a nap or when it's still bright outside in the evening. It's not far to Lake Dankern, and there's a playground nearby, just great. Super nice contact with the landlord, if something is wrong, it will be taken care of immediately. 2 parking spaces in front of the house complete the whole experience. We will come back.

Beautiful house, with many extras for families

The house offers a lot of amenities, with a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, a grilling option, play equipment, bicycles, etc. It was especially convenient that all the bedrooms are equipped with shutters, so you can make the rooms really dark.

Everything is fine.

We are now at Dachsbau for the 6th time and as always very happy and satisfied with the house. At least once a year, we enjoy the break in the beautiful Emsland and the quick connection to the Netherlands. Pure relaxation and the feeling of having a second home.

Break at Lake Dankern

We have been going on a family vacation in Dankern for many years.
It is a great break from everyday life for us, no matter how old our children are.
Even our adult children now enjoy the time there very much.
The holiday house "Dachsbau" is very well equipped and well-maintained.
The landlady is extremely helpful and accommodating.
So we enjoy spending our time there.

Very cozy, well-maintained holiday home

One can tell that the owner used to spend holidays here herself.
The house is lovingly furnished. The garden is completely fenced. Even children's toys are available.
Due to its location in a cul-de-sac, it is also quiet.
The garden is only fully visible from the neighboring houses.

Return to childhood days

We wanted to spend a long weekend in Dankern with our now adult children - in memory of the vacations we had there over 20 years ago.
Mrs. Spork's vacation house was a very welcome accommodation for us - well equipped for 5 adults, quiet location, provided with bicycles and a grill. The kitchen was fully equipped with all necessary utensils, which was important to us as self-caterers.
The lake and holiday park are within walking distance, WLAN can be booked through the holiday center if needed.
We really enjoyed the days and highly recommend the vacation house.
Unfortunately, we were not able to meet Mrs. Spork in person, but the telephone and email contact was very pleasant.

Whit holiday without parking passes

For the first time in 14 years we looked for a holiday home that is close to Schloss Dankern but does not belong to the park. We found this one and were very positively impressed. The house has a huge plot, is super fenced so that the dog could be outside without supervision. The barbecue area is cozy and the terrace directly in front of the house in the sun. Inside it is very spacious and with three bedrooms large enough for a family of 4-5 people. Especially with teenagers who want to sleep separately. The kitchen is functional and well equipped, also the living room is comfortable and invites you to watch TV. The way to the lake is easy to find and the lake is easily accessible. As the house is a bit further away, you have a lot of peace and hardly any party guests. We will definitely rent this house again.

Top satisfied

The house is located on a beautiful large fenced property! There is nothing missing in terms of equipment! It is clean and tidy. The hostess, Ms. Spork, is always there with advice and support, and tries to fulfill all wishes so that guests feel comfortable. If something is missing or defective, she immediately provides a replacement. We would recommend the house without any ifs or buts. We have already rented the house five times and would do it again and again.

Any time again!

I booked very spontaneously and yet everything was top-notch. The landlady explained everything to me very kindly. Upon arrival, we found a lovingly designed holiday home and immediately felt very comfortable. The equipment is unique and nothing is missing. A cute welcome basket was on the table with all the important information. The garden is a great size and invited us to linger. The location is great, quiet yet quickly accessible to everything. We would have loved to stay longer. A really great offer. Thank you for everything.

Recreation in Emsland

This is the 4th time in the last 2 years that we have stayed in the Dachsbau and we always feel at home immediately. Even our attempt to go on holiday with the cats worked out great here and was also no problem for the landlady Mrs. Spork. The house is cosy and has everything you need. The large garden with the new fireplace / barbecue makes it perfect. The Dankern lake with its beautiful sandy beach and old trees is very idyllic and easy to reach. The partly turquoise clean water and the white sand give the feeling of a beach holiday. Although the house is located in a popular holiday settlement, it offers a lot of peace and quiet with its large plot. The Emsland and the nearby Netherlands offer many possibilities for excursions and sightseeing, and you can also reach the coast quickly by car.

An idyllic dream

Again and again with pleasure

I was here for the first time and was really thrilled. For me, everything was just right. The house is very cosy, everything you need is there. It was also clean. That is very important to me. Booking and payment also went really well.
You can get to the Dankernsee quickly and there are lots of opportunities for walks.

Short trip

The flat is lovingly and cleanly furnished. You have everything you need for a few days with dog and child. The landlady is very helpful and nice. Starting points for hiking or cycling are right outside the door.

Pure relaxation

The cottage in Dachsweg is simply perfect for taking time out from everyday life. Even the first contact with Mrs. Spork (landlady) was very pleasant. The cottage is in a perfect location. In 10 minutes walking distance you are standing in the sand at the beautiful Dankernsee. The garden invites you to relax and is simply perfect for children and dog owners and fenced. We take so many positive memories with us from the Dachsweg every year and are already looking forward to the next time when we leave.
