Description
A warm welcome to our beautiful holiday apartment "Am Bach"! Enjoy your vacation and the fantastic Allgäu mountain world in summer as well as in winter in our lovingly and partly with historic farmhouse furniture cozily furnished holiday apartment in a central, quiet village location with south-facing terrace and a view over meadows to the mountains. The apartment is ideally suited for 2 people. You have access to a fully equipped kitchen, satellite TV, and a basement room. Many leisure and dining options are in the immediate vicinity, as well as the Hörnerbahn (6-seater cable car) with access to the entire Bolsterlang ski area and the village lift just a few hundred meters away.

Location and surroundings of object
The flat is located on the ground floor of an Alpine-style house in a quiet village location. The terrace faces south and offers a view across meadows to the Oberstdorf mountains. Due to its location at the back of the house (i.e. not facing the road), you can enjoy undisturbed peace and quiet there - apart from the babbling of the stream running along near the terrace, you will usually hear nothing. Bolsterlang is an idyllic mountain village in the heart of the Allgäu (about 10 km before Oberstdorf). Here you can find peace, serenity and energy for your everyday life. A holiday on the sunny plateau of the Oberallgäu means enjoying a unique view of the peaks of the Allgäu Alps. A huge hiking area with great views of the Allgäu main ridge is right on your doorstep. In winter, you can reach and savour the absolutely family-friendly Bolsterlang ski area in just a few minutes' walk. A few kilometres away by car, the Oberstdorf mountains and the Kleinwalsertal valley offer you almost endless leisure and mountain sports opportunities.
The alpine meadows, which have been cultivated for generations, are a true splendour for nature lovers and gourmets in summer. Allgäu mountain cheese is still made by hand right here on the Alps, just as it was long ago. These gourmet meals are served to you directly on the Alps.
Relaxation in the Allgäu means pure variety - enjoy the heavenly peace and quiet after a strenuous climb up the mountains. Whether on foot or by bike - you have all the options. The tours on offer range from strenuous daily stages with endless metres of altitude to relaxed, flat enjoyment tours along the Iller. The Allgäu also offers an incredible variety of fun sports. In winter, paradisiacal slopes are ready for skiers and snowboarders. Directly between Bolsterlang and Sonderdorf is the entrance to the perfect family skiing area. No accommodation in Bolsterlang and Sonderdorf is further than 300 m from the village lift. Beginners are introduced to skiing and snowboarding at the village lift. The 6-person Hörner cable car takes you up to slopes of various degrees of difficulty. Your children are of course in good hands at our ski schools. The Allgäu is widely known for its hospitality.
Even in our mountain region, which is still dominated by agriculture, you will find courteous and friendly hosts.

beautiful, cozy vacation apartment
Over New Year's, we were in Bolsterlang in this beautiful little vacation apartment, which has everything you need for a short holiday: a well-equipped kitchen, oven, etc., bright and sunny windows, a ground-level terrace with mountain views, very nice decor, and clean. Additionally, there is a large storage room for ski equipment, washing machine, etc.
We felt very comfortable and were well instructed, as the landlords do not live in the house themselves. The contact with the landlord was very friendly.
The house is really well located in the town center, so you can quickly walk to the nearest shop or reach the ski trail. Nevertheless, it is quiet and away from street noise. You have a parking space right next to the house. There are also many options with the bus, making it flexible.
All in all, we can gladly recommend this apartment.

small but nice
The holiday apartment is very cozy and furnished to a high standard, well-equipped with everything needed for the household. We felt very comfortable there. Only the bushes on the terrace were bothersome to our taste, restricting the space and obstructing the view. The surroundings offer something for everyone.

Small but nice
Apartment as described, everything available. Handling with landlords straightforward. Very quiet and beautifully located. Gastronomy and village shop (also open on Sundays with bread) in the immediate vicinity. Also the mountain railway. Ideal starting point for hiking, skiing, cycling tours... Would love to come back again ?

Alpine panorama
This flat offers everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. The layout is good, the view is beautiful. The stream flowing by completes the natural atmosphere.
