In the idyllic valley of the Toulourenc, at the foot of Mont Ventoux and just a few steps from the small village of Savoillans, you will find this pretty, tastefully furnished stone holiday home. The cosy interior offers you a lovely living room with a hanging fireplace, two sitting areas and a dining area. The bright and open kitchen is accessible via a few steps. You also have a comfortable bedroom and a bathroom with a ground-level shower. The toilet is separate. The 70 sqm courtyard, which is sheltered from view and accessible via a small staircase, with garden furniture, sun loungers and a barbecue, invites you to relax in this particularly peaceful setting. Directly behind your holiday home, various hiking trails lead into the Mediterranean oak and pine forests. In the village centre, 200 m away, you will not only find a typical auberge with bar and restaurant, but also an excellent bakery.
Mont Ventoux and its surroundings are ideal for hiking and cycling. You can refresh yourself in the river Toulourenc, which is close to your accommodation, or enjoy the thermal baths in Montbrun-les-Bains (7.5 km). A visit to Vaison-la-Romaine for its archaeological sites, market and picturesque centre is highly recommended.

We stayed at the Bergerie in December 2022. The house is absolutely winterproof due to the central heating and the fireplace! The living room is well equipped, the lighting is very good. The double bed mattress is relatively hard and has a large duvet as is usual in France. The TV also has German channels and the internet works perfectly. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment, just plates and cups are sparse. The bathroom is in the basement and is a slightly damp room, but the shower and sink are fine to use. An open shed is available for the car. (With a view of Mont Ventoux) Savaillon is very quiet, you can go on great hikes directly from the house and the local bakery is 200 meters away. The friendly landlord and housekeeper speak French and English. The deposit is €500 and there were also 2 dogs allowed. Definitely recommendable!
