For a summer holiday on the sunny plateau above the Inn Valley! The Axams, Birgitz and Grinzens holiday region offers plenty of relaxation but also plenty of entertainment for young and old, especially since the Alpine metropolis of Innsbruck is not far away. The comfortably furnished holiday apartment in Axams (878 m above sea level) is also an ideal starting point for hikes and mountain bike tours of all levels of difficulty.
If you leave Innsbruck and drive slowly uphill to Axams, you will enter a slightly different world. Lots of nature, peace and relaxation are guaranteed here. The small community of Axams also includes Innsbruck's so-called alpine hiking garden, the Axamer Lizum, which is located further south. Two free parking spaces and free WiFi are available.
The Axams leisure center offers an extensive summer program for families with beach volleyball and a bouldering hall. Hiking in a relaxed manner or on challenging tours, always with a view of the impressive Kalkkögel. The Axams, Birgitz and Grinzens holiday region and the Axamer Lizum hiking area are a real attraction for hikers of all ages. The sound of the wheels of your mountain bike crunches gently. If you like cycling up and down the mountains, this region above Innsbruck is also the right place for you. The mountain bike tours to the Kemater Alm or even to the Adolf Pichler Hut will probably be among your favorites

The location was absolutely serene, nestled in the mountains with breathtaking views. The apartment was spacious and clean, and we enjoyed the free WiFi and parking. It was an excellent base for exploring Innsbruck and the nearby hiking trails.
