Maspalomas is the oldest seaside resort on the south coast of Gran Canaria and is known for its huge dunes, which are six kilometers long and one to two kilometers wide. The dunes are the only official nudist area in Gran Canaria. The 68 meter high lighthouse El Faro, built in 1889, proudly towered into the air. Guests of the villas can use the North and South Golf course. The South Golf Course (18 holes) has a par of 71 strokes over a length of 6.112 m, the north (18 hole) golf course has a length of 5,524 m and a par of 72 strokes.
