The estate dates back to the 15th century and has been in the possession of the Baronti family for three generations. The farm is a few kilometers from Vinci on a hill of cherry and walnut trees, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves that produce excellent organic wines and olive oil. Agriturismo Poggio al Sole is a fantastic location if you are looking for the true Tuscan feel. The small-scale property has six apartments, of which four are rented out, creating a quiet and cozy atmosphere. The neighboring house is only used for the owners' business, giving you plenty of privacy. The outdoor space is the absolute highlight of this accommodation. The spacious pool and the many nice seating areas in the garden offer a wonderful place to relax, with a breathtaking view of the surrounding vineyards. Moreover, it is just a stone's throw away from the charming village of Vinci. The apartment itself is spacious. The decor is authentic and functionally equipped. The owners are incredibly friendly, hospitable, and very approachable. A very nice extra experience was the private wine tasting for the two of us, including a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the space where the wine is made. A very pleasant and authentic experience!

We had a pleasant time at Agriturismo Poggio al Sole, the kitchen was very functional, which allowed us to prepare some of our meals, the wine tasting event was also a treat—I highly recommend it! The only downside was the limited dining options nearby.
