Description
Our holiday home Strandkorb in Seepark Eiken in Walchum is located on a bathing lake. The house is a hipped roof bungalow which was completed in 2016. The living space is 107 m². All rooms are bright and spacious. There are 4 bedrooms in the property. Two bedrooms are on the upper floor. One bedroom with 2 single beds (90x200), and one bedroom with a single bed (100x200). In this bedroom there is a TV set. Both bedroom windows have a sunshade, a fly screen and blackout. On the upper floor there is a shower room with toilet.
Ground floor
2 bedrooms are available on the ground floor. One bedroom has a double bed (180x200), the second bedroom is equipped with 2 comfort beds (100x200). In this bedroom there is a TV set. For small children, a travel cot and a high chair are available. The spacious shower room on the ground floor has a barrier-free shower. There are insect screens in the downstairs bathroom and in the ground floor bedrooms. In the utility room you will find a washing machine, tumble dryer, clothes horse, ironing board, iron and an additional fridge . A nice cosy living room with a spacious dining area as well as a modern kitchenette leave nothing to be desired
Through a sliding door you reach the covered terrace. Insect screens on the sliding door to the terrace and kitchen window are available. The living room, both bedrooms and the bathroom on the ground floor are equipped with electrically operated shutters
The terrace is equipped with garden furniture, parasol, a barbecue and a beach chair. To the west side there is a sliding glass screen as a windbreak.
The holiday home has its own garden and a lockable garden shed

Our Strandkorb holiday home in Seepark Eiken is located in a rural setting. The Seepark Eiken offers its guests extensive leisure facilities on site, a playground, bathing lake in the Seepark and the Herzogsee in Walchum (distance approx. 1 km), mini golf. There is a restaurant with international cuisine in the Seepark as well as the Eiken restaurant with home-style cooking. Use the indoor swimming pool or the sauna (for a fee) even in bad weather. Shopping facilities are located nearby.

Everything you need was available and everything was very clean and tidy.

Absolutely top, especially with children.
We have already been to this holiday home twice and have booked it again for summer 2026. The house is well equipped - we baked cakes and bread there, everything is available. The beds are good, and there are fly screens everywhere. We made extensive use of the glazed terrace. And the absolute proximity to the lake is great. We are going to the house with our grandchildren, 9 and 6 years old, but we have also been there with the whole family. In 2024 we were there for 3 weeks for extensive swimming, cycling, and exploring the Emsland. We can highly recommend the house and thank the Schulte family for the nice friendly communication. Great vacation home
We felt really comfortable, it was just as we imagined it..the kids were so excited..and we didn't want to leave..we are considering coming back next year..we hope there is still availability..the house. Only the weather could have been better.

It doesn't get any better than this, simply top
Everything you could wish for on holiday. Great house, very nice landlady, super interior, very very clean. The neighbours are also very helpful (great info for bike tours). Optimal for cycling tours. We will definitely come back again.
