Relaxation on arrival! As soon as you enter the courtyard where the flat is located, the holiday feeling begins. Limed walls and the light oak parquet flooring give the 1-room flat a special atmosphere, you will feel like you are on holiday. The granny flat of approx. 30 sqm, which is located in the front part of a listed country house, has

- fully equipped kitchenette (2 hotplates, fridge with freezer compartment)

The flat is tastefully furnished with an eye for the essentials and equipped with everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Suitable for 1 to 2 adults (or one adult person with child aged 6 and over, no pets).

May Apartment has been certified by ADFC Bett und Bike as a bike friendly accommodation. We welcome all cyclists. In addition, the German Tourism Association awarded us 2 stars.

The immediate infrastructure is excellent, everything is within walking distance.

You can walk from us to the cult pub Herbrand's (Cologne's most popular beer garden!), to the programme cinema Cinenova with a very good organic restaurant. Within 10 to 15 minutes on foot you can reach the best sushi in Cologne, Cologne's most popular Pizzeria Piccola, the tastiest ice cream at the Eisdielerin and Cologne's coolest cocktails at the Ehrenfelder Berlin-Bar. And if it should rain or you need a day to relax: Just visit the Ossendorf-Bad, 1.5 km away, with indoor and outdoor pools, sauna and solarium.

The owners and hosts are Simone May and Claudia May. The whole and comfortable holiday flat is located in our house and is our common passion. In addition to our cats, chickens and garden, we are also enthusiastic about Cologne's cultural scene, about which we are happy to give personal tips. We have also been certified by the ADFC (Bett and Bike) as bicycle-friendly accommodation and by the German Tourism Association as 2-star accommodation. We attach great importance to allergy-friendly living and low-pollutant as well as ecologically sensible housekeeping. In the garden we keep a small group of laying hens of different breeds that roam freely and sometimes even come right into the yard. The flat is located in a quiet side street of the Venloer Straße and yet in the middle of Cologne. The May Apartment has been in existence since 2008.
