The location is excellent, being so close to the beach and local attractions. The private pool was a highlight for the kids. Overall, a good choice for families looking for a quiet getaway.

We spent a week here and loved it. The house was super spacious and had everything we needed. The view from the rooftop terrace was simply stunning. The kitchen was well equipped with the Thermomix, which made cooking fun. The only downside was that the internet could be a bit unstable at times.

The house was spacious and clean, with enough space for our group. The outdoor area was lovely for relaxing. It is a bit secluded, but that made it even more peaceful.

You always have to say something positive, so here it is: the swimming pool was fine. Nice and big and deep. Now for the downsides, of which there were unfortunately many. To start with, the power goes out regularly, even if it's just for a short time, it's still very annoying when your air conditioning keeps stopping. The mattresses of one of the beds are as old as Methuselah; I think there are even those spring coils in them. The cushions on all the beds are filled with those flake-filled pillows; the advice to everyone is to bring a decent pillow yourself. There is no door in the house that closes properly, which is not very pleasant for others when you need to go to the toilet, for example. There are hardly any power outlets in the house; in the living room, it is completely pathetic, and also in the room where I slept, there was exactly 1. There was 1 short power strip available with 3 outlets that you could use to expand. The showerheads need a serious descaling, I was already 10 minutes trying to get water out of more than half of the holes. There is no sharp knife to be found in the house, the small scissors were as dull as can be. Nice that there is a washing machine you can use, clothespins and a laundry basket would have been handy too. I bought clothespins myself and left them for future guests. The furniture is old and worn, it looks shabby. There is a garage available, but you cannot use it, nor can you use the carport, as that is occupied by the owner's car. Your car is therefore continuously in the warm sun. If the owners would invest some money, it could be worth the money you pay, but that is not the case now. Why then is the rating reasonable? Well, the pool was nice and big.

Location top, house flop except for garden & pool. We don't have high expectations, but this is unacceptable, and we expect the provider not to rent the house again until it has been renovated and properly cleaned (pictures available). - Wet rooms; trash from previous tenant in the trash can "gross," furniture swollen & musty from moisture, toilets leaking (owner knew according to). WhatsApp message in advance), terrible stench, cracks in the ceiling and tiles, shower heads need to be replaced, stains & mold on the ceiling, plaster/paint is flaking off - room; dirty mattresses, squeaky beds (even when sitting down), dust & dirt under the beds, dirty clothes in the closet from previous tenant, walls full of holes & cracks, stains (blood) from crushed mosquitoes - kitchen; dirty and grimy, faucet needs to be replaced, swollen wood, household items insufficient for 6 guests (fork, knife, spoon). . . ) Living room; not used, as there is only a table for 4 people (6 guests). . . - Loose power cables, broken sunshades, broken sun loungers, broken lounge - In case of rain, buckets must be placed in the house because the roof is leaking, etc. - basically dirty, dusty, cobwebs on the walls and ceilings & in the oven The house is not worth the money despite a great location, garden with a large and clean pool (pool cleaner once a week), washing machine, close to the sea, near shopping facilities, and it is fundamentally a disgrace to rent a house in this condition. A thank you to the lady who was responsible for handing over the keys, we were allowed to move into the house 2 hours earlier. Anyway, we enjoyed the days in Benissa/Calpe and the surrounding area with great excursions, beach, sea, snorkeling & good food. Hakuna matata

The house could use a little investment here and there, but overall our holiday here was fantastic. The pool is ideal and the temperature inside, both in the living room and bedrooms was very pleasant. Walk down about 150 meters and you will arrive at the beautiful beach of Cala Avocat. We want to return.

What a beautiful holiday home! A few steps from Cala Advocat, it was the perfect location for our family getaway. The private pool was very much enjoyed by the children, and the rooftop terrace offered stunning views of the Mediterranean. The Thermomix in the kitchen was a pleasant surprise, making meal preparation a breeze. The decor felt cozy and authentic, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend exploring the nearby Eco Coastal Path: it is breathtaking!
