Our holiday apartment is located in a natural and quiet area in the heart of the largest contiguous juniper nature reserve in North Rhine-Westphalia and is the perfect starting point for extensive walks, marvelous hikes, great bike rides, and excursions.

Alendorf, with about 265 inhabitants, is a district of the municipality of Blankenheim in the district of Euskirchen in NRW. An ideal place for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility, who want to discover the beauty of the Eifel. The idyllically located place Alendorf, also called the Tuscany of the Eifel, is situated on a plateau south of Blankenheim and is surrounded by the juniper slopes of Kalvarienberg, Hämmersberg, and Eierberg. From spring to fall, the extensive limestone sparse grasslands are in bloom with alternating pasque flowers, orchid species, and gentians or autumn crocuses.
The 522-meter-high Kalvarienberg offers fantastic and unforgettable impressions with a panoramic view of the Eifel heights.

Fantastic!

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Elvira and Wolfgang.
It is a beautiful apartment in a quiet area. The apartment is fully and homely furnished.
The apartment was very clean and everything is provided. Good beds for a healthy night's sleep.
A beautiful hiking area, we saw various wild orchids.
We had a great time here. Thank you for your hospitality.

Wonderful days in Alendorf

The location, furnishings and cleanliness of this beautiful holiday flat leave absolutely nothing to be desired. The hospitality of the Hoffmann family made my stay particularly pleasant. Just the right place to slow down. I would also recommend the flat for the winter season, if only because of the tiled stove.

Enjoyable days in the Eifel

We felt very comfortable in the lovingly furnished, spacious holiday apartment. On top of that, there is the large balcony with a view of fruit trees and sometimes sheep and cows.

Vacation apartment in the "Tuscany of the Eifel"

very nice vacation apartment in a beautiful area.
Very nice, helpful landlords, everything went well.
You can still go on vacation in the Eifel despite the flood disaster on the Ahr and its tributaries.

Despite the changeable weather, the holiday apartment was very cozy and spacious. Many hiking trails are accessible and well signposted on-site. Shopping facilities are quickly reachable nearby. Recreation in the Eifel

If you are looking for peace and relaxation in a beautiful area, this is the right place for you. You need to drive to shop and eat, but hiking is great right from the village. The apartment was super clean, very spacious, well-equipped, and the landlords were very nice. The house is located on the outskirts and from the peaceful balcony, you have a nice view of the greenery. We highly recommend the vacation apartment.

It was nice to get out again.

Hello Hoffman Family,
Now back to everyday life, we think back with many beautiful memories of our stay at "Wacholderblick." We were well taken care of in the very comfortable holiday apartment with two couples. Everything needed was available. The wellness aspect of the seating area was particularly appreciated - the term "putting your feet up" made real sense there. You were always approachable, and we felt well looked after. We have hiked through the Tuscany of the Eifel and on the Eifelsteig. Stay healthy.

We found a very well-maintained, clean, and perfectly furnished holiday apartment. Everything is available, even for a longer stay. The location is wonderfully quiet. We did beautiful hikes and cycling trips without using the car, although an e-bike is recommended for the latter; unless you have very good condition ;-) The landlords are extremely friendly and helpful. All in all: Highly recommended !!
