Description

The bungalow is in a quiet location not far from Lake Byhlen, in the middle of the Spreewald. It was renovated and modernised by us this year (2020) and lovingly furnished with high-quality furniture. The 40m² bungalow can be used comfortably with 4 adults. The ground floor is equipped with two bedrooms, an open living, dining and kitchen area and a small bathroom with toilet and shower. The approx. 600 m² property is fenced all around and therefore very attractive especially for dog owners. The car can be parked on the property under the carport. The largest part of the property is located behind the house and is surrounded by greenery. Peace and quiet are guaranteed, especially since your view from the garden or from the higher, large terrace falls directly into the adjacent forest.

The cosy bungalow is located in the village of Byhlen, in the middle of the Spreewald. The Bylener See lake with its beautiful bathing area can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. The nature-rich surroundings and the Spreewald towns of Straupitz or Burg, which are not far away, can be explored by car or on bicycles. Straupitz, which can be reached by car in a few minutes, has shopping facilities (groceries), a bakery, a pharmacy, doctors, a vet, a hairdresser and a savings bank. Burg, which is popular with holidaymakers, offers nice restaurants and shops that invite you to stroll around, as well as the opportunity to explore the Spreewald by boat, kayak or canoe. Quad tours can be booked nearby, giving you a great impression of the surroundings. For connoisseurs and sauna lovers, the Spreewald-Therme leaves nothing to be desired. Should you miss the big city, you can reach Berlin and the beautiful Dresden in 1.5 to 2 hours by car.

we would like to draw your attention to a condition that we hope you will take to heart during your stay with us.
We are owners of two large dogs ourselves and know that it is not always easy to find suitable accommodation when travelling. This is another reason why we have decided to open our bungalows to guests and their four-legged friends
However, it is important to us that the furry guests do NOT stay on the cushioned seating (sofa, armchair) or in the bed. As we also accommodate people without dog(s), we are concerned about mutual consideration. We also love our dogs dearly, but do not allow this in our home
Please consider for yourself whether you are willing to abide by this condition. If so, we very much look forward to welcoming you and your dog(s) to our home!

Dream house with dream garden

What a beautiful, cozy vacation cottage, furnished down to the last detail! When we entered the garden, I got goosebumps, and inside the cottage even more! Furnished and thought out with so much love! Incredible!!! Everything you need is there! The garden is a dog's dream and for the owner too! Anyone looking for peace and nature is exactly right here! Totally for unwinding! And the landlords are amazing! Thank you, Sabrina, for your super nice welcome and for the great excursion tips! We immediately took you and your funny, friendly way to our hearts! It's a pity we couldn't get to know Sarah as well! So five stars are definitely way too few! Great holiday home

Small but nice

One feels comfortable right away!
We were looking for peace and found it. Our dog could easily stay in this fantastic large garden, as everything is fenced in. We enjoyed the beautiful terrace. A bit far from everything, but pure nature. No problem with a car. Especially not for cyclists.
The bungalow is lovingly furnished, has everything you need, including very nice landlords.

Pure relaxation, optimal recovery, limitless hiking...

We found accommodation that is lovingly furnished and perfect for a vacation for two with a dog, offering peace, relaxation, and the opportunity for unlimited hiking through the flora and fauna of the Spreewald – just as we had imagined. Despite the not-so-great weather, with temperatures dropping below freezing at night and only 8-10 degrees during the day, luckily without rain but sunny, we spent hours on excursions in the wonderful nature, which our dog thoroughly enjoyed. In compensation, the fireplace provided us with warm comfort in the evenings, ensuring a relaxing end to the day.
In the end, we felt very well taken care of here. As we are not fans of city strolls and were able to avoid the hustle and bustle of the streets, we returned home relaxed and recharged. We were completely satisfied as nothing was lacking, and we will definitely visit this vacation home again when the weather is somewhat summery so we can also make use of the garden loungers, etc.
Lastly, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Sabrina K. and Sarah K. for the pleasant communication and will gladly recommend this bungalow with peace of mind.

Beautiful forest bungalow.

Despite the rain and cold, we had a very enjoyable time. Snuggling up by the fireplace in the evenings and looking directly into the forest through the panoramic window really has something special, doesn't it?
In the small but fine accommodation, there is everything you need. It is very clean, comfortably furnished, with good WiFi reception, and the kitchen has everything you need. We were warmly and personally welcomed, and everything relevant was explained and shown to us. Sabrina was always available and took care of any questions we had. Our dog also felt very comfortable and could move around freely, as the garden is well secured.
Highly recommended, we would come back...

Relaxed summer vacation in Byhlen

A very big thank you to Sabrina!
She welcomed us so warmly and explained everything in detail. The communication works perfectly. So nothing stood in the way of a relaxing holiday. We lacked nothing in the modern and lovingly furnished holiday home. Our two grandchildren also liked it very much. You can enjoy the calming nature with all the wonderful sounds and at the same time experience so many beautiful things in the surrounding area. Sabrina is always there with great tips. And our two little dogs felt literally "sauwohl". If something is missing, Sabrina comes immediately and helps. That is truly unique.
Thank you very much to both of you, Sabrina and Sarah! You do a fantastic job. We will definitely be back very soon.

Beautiful and relaxing vacation.

The holiday home and property are located in a very quiet location right on the edge of the forest. Ideal for relaxation and unwinding. In the mornings, you are only awakened by birdsong. The holiday home is tastefully furnished and the garden is great for relaxing. The property is fully fenced, so our dog could also move around freely. Very friendly and likeable landlady. It was a very nice week.

A charming cottage to feel good

If you are looking for absolute peace, a large garden, and a terrace that invites you to linger, this is the perfect place. And if there is also a cozy holiday home and two very nice landladies, vacation happiness is complete! We didn't miss anything at all and felt very comfortable here (and I believe our furry friend would - if she could speak - say the exact same thing :-) ). Many thanks to Mrs. Krinowski and Mrs. Kloos for the exceptionally nice contact - we had a really good time in Byhlen!

Holiday at Byhle Lake - Spreewald

A relaxing vacation has come to an end and we have only good things to report.

A beautiful accommodation with a large, completely fenced garden, ideal for vacation with dogs. The house has everything you need, very cozy and in an absolutely quiet location. We didn't miss anything!
Various seating areas invite you to relax, whether in the morning under the pavilion for breakfast, later on a sun lounger in the garden, or in the evening with a glass of wine in the lounge area on the terrace. Even in the rain, you can sit on the terrace in the dry. Above all, we enjoyed the peace and quiet. The forest starts right behind the garden, and at night you can observe the whole starry sky without light pollution. You can quickly reach Lake Byhlen on foot to swim a round in the morning. Many, many thanks to Mrs. Krinowski and Mrs. Kloos for the lovely welcome and lovingly designed bungalow. They were always available when we had questions or wanted information. We will come back!!!
