*** *** The apartments are located just a few steps from the beach and harbour of "Playa-Puerto de La Aldea". The flats each have a 16 sqm terrace offering spectacular views of the sea. On clear days, the Teide, Spain's highest mountain at 3718 m, is clearly visible on the opposite island of Tenerife. The apartments can be rented separately or together. The location of the apartments not only allows you to enjoy the view of the Teide from the terrace with breathtaking sunsets every day, but also the view of the Roque Nublo from the bedroom. The Roque Nublo, a striking rock in the mountainous interior of the island, is Gran Canaria's landmark. The location far away from mass tourism and the simple comfort make these penthouses the perfect place to find peace and relaxation. The large penthouse is tastefully decorated and has two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining and living area.

Very nice flat, great view -difficult sightseeing due to remote location
We deliberately chose this remote holiday resort, but then found that our excursions across the island to both the north and the south of the island each required a one-hour circuit through the mountains, albeit with some magnificent views. We had underestimated this and ultimately found it (somewhat) annoying.
We found the flat to be super clean and well furnished. The view from the terrace is beautiful. We felt very comfortable in this nice ambience.
At weekends and every evening, the residents of La Aldea come to Playa La Aldea. The village picnic, fitness and leisure programme takes place right outside the front door, below the terrace
We do not find Playa La Aldea itself particularly attractive. It offers a few restaurants, but they lack a cosy ambience and are closed at times during the week that are not obvious (to us).
We found the bathing bay, which can be reached via a cliff path and which we had almost to ourselves, particularly beautiful: swimming and snorkelling in the clear (fish-rich) Atlantic Ocean were simply great.
All in all, we liked it very much.

Beautiful, highly recommended accommodation
2 separate bedrooms with very pretty bathrooms, practical, pretty and well-equipped kitchen with a ceramic hob. Wonderful terrace where you can sunbathe extensively, table and 2 loungers available, the sea at the doorstep, no tourist hustle and bustle, a nice little fish tavern, only open at lunchtime in winter, but you have peace in the evenings, a starry sky, highly recommended, I will gladly come again.
recommend for: seniors, holiday with children, romantic holiday
Vicinity of the holiday home: nettes kleines Dorf mit Supermarkt in d. Nähe, viele Ausflüge zu Fuß mit dem Fahrrad oder Auto moeglich.
free time activities: Schwimmen, Radfahren, laufen
shopping facilities: Supermarkt, 15km entfernt liegt der Ort Mogan mit vielen Boutiken, Kneipen, Hafen und Rummel, danach ist man gerne wieder in Playa La Aldea
