Description
The 123 m² living space comprises a living/dining room with a cozy wood-burning stove and a comfortable island kitchen, 3 bedrooms, a large bathroom with walk-in rain shower, and guest WC.
The 1300 m² plot is located on the edge of a former manor, on whose grounds now stand a few exclusive holiday homes on very generous plots. We are situated in the middle of the bird sanctuary and offer an unobstructed view of the Wiek. From the cozy terrace with a beach chair you can watch cranes in spring and autumn and countless bird species in summer, even a pair of sea eagles!
Excursions to the nearby Puddemin marina, to beautiful natural bathing beaches or various cafés can easily be made by bicycle on the well-developed network of cycle paths.
We built the house ourselves in 2015 and renovated it in 2024, and in 2025 it will also have a wallbox and fiber-optic internet!

The tranquil south of Rügen is characterised by nature and water. Here you can still find endless cornfields, rare bird species and an incredible starry sky at night.
Those who love peace and quiet are in good hands on the natural beaches of the Zudar peninsula. The lively seaside resorts of Binz and Sellin are just 30 minutes away by car.
Stralsund with its beautiful old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is also worth a visit and is only 20 minutes away.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay in a holiday home on Rügen. The holiday home was spotless and very well maintained. Upon our arrival, we immediately noticed how much value was placed on hygiene. There were no flaws or inconveniences. The location of the house is simply fantastic. Surrounded by unspoiled nature, we could fully enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the surroundings. Waking up in the morning to the song of the birds and watching the magnificent sunsets in the evening was a true highlight of the vacation. The furnishings of the house left nothing to be desired. It was tastefully decorated and provided everything needed for a comfortable stay. From a fully equipped kitchen to cozy living areas – everything was present and of high quality. Overall, our stay at the holiday home Meerferien was an absolute pleasure. I can only highly recommend it and gladly give 5 stars!

A holiday home that you dream of
We have already spent several holidays in this fantastic holiday home MeerFerien. The house is very stylish and clean, nothing is missing. The landlords are always available and very friendly. But the most important thing is the location on the edge of the small village of Mellnitz. We had a wonderfully peaceful holiday here. The view of the water is magnificent. However, this time we were very surprised. The house had just been completely repainted and has mostly new furniture. It looks completely different, but we really liked it! If we are looking for relaxation, we will definitely come back to our oasis of peace. Best regards to the Franke family!
