Gruissan is an old fishing village and lies directly at the sea or lagoon.
The old town centre with the beautiful "Tour Barbarousse" and its picturesque alleys invite you to stroll, as does the harbour.
After 12 KM you will reach the town of Narbonne, from a distance you can see the main attraction, the well-preserved cathedral.
Also worth a visit is the market hall, which offers all the specialities of the region for sale and consumption.
