Location and surroundings of object
Sumio Port Greve Holiday Park is approximately 35 hectares and directly on the Grevelingenmeer, the largest saltwater lake in Europe, which is already well-known and popular among many surfers.
The area is also considered an Eldorado among sailors. No wonder, with a constant breeze around wind force four to five! A bridge and three dams connect the Schouwen-Duiveland peninsula with the mainland. Behind the dikes, one can discover lonely farmhouses, dreamy villages, and proud mills, best explored on the
Indoor swimming pool with a 58 m long giant slide, 3 children's pools. Brouwershaven is a small, idyllic harbor town with sailing traffic. It is located on the Grevelingen Meer, surrounded by individual small villages. Despite this, the nearest larger cities such as Zierikzee and Renesse can be reached in just a few minutes (about 10-15 minutes by car). In Brouwershaven, there are all the necessary shops, such as: supermarket (with bicycle rental), bakery, fish shop, pharmacy, hairdresser, electronics store, cafes, and restaurants, all of which are located around the old marina.
For our younger guests, there is a small playground, a petting zoo, and the so-called 'children's beach' at the Grevelingenmeer. Everything is reachable in about 10 minutes. These are nice to walk, as you can follow along the harbor, which leads through the historic village center.
You can reach the large North Sea beach by car in a good ten minutes or comfortably by bike.

Summer vacation
The house is beautifully located in the park and is well-maintained on the outside, with opportunities to relax or sit together in the garden of the house. The garden also has a garden shed, which contains additional chairs, air rings for the children, and a box with various ball games.
Inside the house, everything is available. A fairly modern and fully equipped kitchen with dining area and adjoining living room. Separate WC and a fairly large bathroom with a walk-in shower.
On the upper floor of the house, there are 2 bedrooms with double beds.
The overall condition of the house is good. There are minor things that could be improved, namely, the mattresses of the beds are quite worn out, and the cleanliness of the kitchen and bathroom upon arrival was not optimal. The door of the garden shed can only be closed by lifting the door... Overall, we still had a great week and would recommend the vacation home further.
The location is very good in the Port Greve park in Den Osse and is situated between Scharendijke and Brouwershaven. The beach is reachable within a maximum of 10 minutes on foot. The park offers many play opportunities for children, with everything from playgrounds to bouncing cushions and go-kart rentals. The kids will not get bored.
The contact and booking with Mr. Roosen was very good and very pleasant. Questions and suggestions were answered in no time. The service is top-notch!
