Amazing week

We had an amazing week at the Villa with 3 generations of our family, 6 adults and one toddler. There was plenty of space for us all and plenty of crockery, cutlery and utensils. The Villa really is a home from home.
You can manage without a car as there is a supermarket 10 min walk away and a few restaurants in the village.
The Villa has an amazing view, and we experienced stunning sunsets looking out to the sea.

We had an amazing 5 nights here,

Bärbel was amazing hosting and went above and beyond helping us to get there and to settle in! The set up is great and our 4 kids loved the large pool. Lots of lovely beaches nearby and good choice of large villages nearby with Taverna’s but also nice staying at the villa with lots of different areas to eat with the family. We will definitely be back

Beautiful house overlooking the beautiful beach of Kommos

Beautiful house overlooking the beautiful beach of Kommos. Very peaceful area surrounded by olive trees - no noise nearby and easy access ( car is mandatory though) to the village of Matama , Kalamaki and other beach places . the House is elegantly designed with all facilities and very well adapted to family and friends vacations.we can definitely recommend the house for people seeking a peaceful retreat by the sea . we loved the beach of Komos which is amazing , clear waters and nice sunbathing areas .

Place of well-being

We felt very comfortable in the house and the outdoor area. You like to stay there and enjoy the interior, the beautiful view, and the pool. The surroundings have a lot to offer, trips by car in all directions are easy to reach and not far away. The contact with Bärbel was very friendly and helpful, just right. We recommend the house 100% further.

Excellent place

Excellent place for family vacation. We stayed there for an amazing week. Place was suitable to our needs as a family with 3 teenagers. Many nice beaches close by, great taverns and restaurants.

Our stay at villa Malo

We have spent a wonderful week at villa Malo.
The house is amazing with modern equipment and nice decor.
The house is surrounded by olive trees and the sea in the distance with beautiful sunsets.
The access from the airport from Heraklion requires one hour by easy roads .
You have food stores, a butcher and restaurants close to the house.
Bärbel has welcomed us very kindly , she is very available and accommodating .

Great house in a great location!

We spent 11 days in this house and enjoyed every day of it. Due to the location on the slope, you have the sun from morning to evening - if it is shining, which unfortunately was not always the case for us at Easter. The unobstructed view over the sea offered us spectacular sunsets almost every evening and at the same time a view of Psiloritis, still covered in snow and over 2,400 metres high - this combination is certainly unique.
The house itself is definitely to be recommended. You notice in all areas that the house is often used by the owners themselves - from A for equipment to Z for central heating, everything was tip-top.
And last but not least, the on-site support by Bärbel was simply great - from the reception with fresh fruit to the departure.

Ein sehr schönes Haus, modern und geschmackvoll

The Villa Malo is a wonderful place to relax and explore southern Crete. We stayed there with friends, and everyone had the opportunity to retreat if they wanted. The pool was invaluable this time of year and is a pleasant size. The view, sunsets - AMAZING! And what makes the stay perfect is Bärbel, the German property manager. Very sympathetic, incredibly helpful, open to all questions, always reachable and relaxed, humorous, and very friendly. During my stay, I had an infection, had to go to the doctor and the lab - without Bärbel, it would have been simply tiresome and more exhausting than it already was. If I had a house there, I would hire Bärbel immediately. However, we would book Villa Malo again right away.

Pure relaxation

The large modern house is perfectly and practically equipped. There are terraces in all directions, so you can always find a spot sheltered from the wind. The view of the sea and mountains (covered in snow at our time) is sensational!
The surroundings are quiet and rural, you can occasionally hear the roosters crowing.
You can go on many nice excursions, it is only a short drive down to the beaches.
Bärbel's care is very uncomplicated and extremely pleasant. She is ready with tips and advice.
We had a wonderful holiday!

A great house in a great location.

The house is simply great in terms of equipment, size, and layout of the rooms and terraces. It has the latest equipment, ranging from stove and microwave to a clothes dryer. Not to mention the large, heatable pool with a children's area. The furnishings are modern and in a tasteful design. The manager, Mrs. Lohmann, is very friendly, always approachable, reachable, and helpful. It was a lovely 14 days.

Family vacation in Crete

The Villa Malo is beautifully located on a hill, offering stunning views of the sea and mountains in all directions. Surrounding the house are a variety of tastefully furnished terraces and shaded outdoor seating areas. In particular, the view from the large main terrace during the evening aperitif overlooking the sea provides impressive sunsets.

Even at full capacity, the clever room layout of the house has proven to be successful. The high-quality and tasteful equipment and furnishings suggest that the owners also enjoy using the house themselves - we felt very comfortable there. The on-site service was also very friendly and worked well, and everything was promptly taken care of to our complete satisfaction.

Crete in Winter

The Villa Malo is located on the quiet outskirts of Pitsidia with a very beautiful view of the sea and the surrounding landscape. Within a 5-minute walk, you are in the town and about 25 minutes from the sea. We went on several hikes directly from the villa. The surroundings are beautifully green at this time of year with very pleasant temperatures. The villa is tastefully furnished and the kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed the winter sun on several terraces. We didn't actually use the pool, but it's a great size for swimming. Bärbel took great care of us and is always available for questions. Thanks for that, we had a wonderful week. P+D

Tolles Haus

We stayed here for 9 nights. The house is beautifully located with a great view. The furnishings are super modern and the house very clean and huge. We were welcomed on site, and the manager made sure we were always satisfied. She organized the car rental for us, which was perfect. The pool is the absolute highlight of the house, our daughter still raves about it. The nearest supermarket is 2 minutes away (by car) and Komos Beach is about 2 km away. The house had everything a vacation rental needs. Bärbel gave us a folder with information about sights, hikes, excursions, and beaches, which was very helpful. We were very satisfied and would come back anytime!
