Vacation Zinnowitz

It is a very relaxed holiday destination to let the soul dangle.
Everything is easily accessible.
By car, bike, or even on foot (beach/city/shopping opportunities)
You feel comfortable in the holiday accommodation as it is located in a forest area.
I am super satisfied with the accommodation and would love to vacation there again anytime.

ABSOLUTE RAINFALL

★☆☆☆☆ – Absolutely not recommended, especially not with children or pets!

Unfortunately, the vacation apartment did not match the description at all. Nothing was prepared, the apartment is in a state that needs significant renovation. There was mold in the bathroom, cobwebs everywhere, the cabinets were damaged, and it smelled strongly musty and of mold.

Ventilation was hardly possible, as numerous insects came in immediately with the window open. Our children and we felt absolutely uncomfortable there – so much so that we moved to another accommodation for the rest of the week.

Particularly concerning: Our dog showed signs of a flea infestation after the first night, which further reinforced our decision to leave the accommodation.

No response from the owner after the complaint! Conclusion: This accommodation is absolutely not recommended in its current state – and especially not for families with small children or pets.

Bewertung wird für Rache mißbraucht

Korrekt an der Bewertung ist, das die Wohnung nach einer Woche in der Zuständigkeit der Mieter wirklich roch. Nach kräftig benutzten Babywindel, die vom Mieter darin vom ersten Tag liegen gelassen wurden. Vorher kam der Vermieter nicht in die Wohnung.

Zur Anreise am 20.07.25 15.00 Uhr war die Wohnung, wie üblich, gründlich gereinigt, gewischt etc. Die Betten bezogen, einschließlich Baby-Bett.
Am Morgen nach der ersten Übernachtung traf der Vermieter die Familie und schenkte den Kindern Aprikosen. Keine Beschwerden. Keine Hinweise zur Wohnung usw. Man fuhr los und wurde während der gesamten Urlaubszeit nie wieder in der Ferienwohnung gesehen. Schlüssel zur Wohnung beim Mieter.

wir möchten Sie darüber informieren, dass wir nach der ersten Nacht leider nicht in Ihrer Ferienwohnung bleiben konnten. Unsere Kinder und wir haben uns dort nicht wohlgefühlt, weshalb wir die restliche Woche in einer anderen Ferienwohnung verbracht haben.
Zudem hatte unser Hund bereits nach der ersten Nacht Anzeichen eines Flohbefalls, was unsere Entscheidung zusätzlich beeinflusst hat. …

Wir bitten Sie daher um Verständnis und fordern , in Anbetracht der Umstände eine Erstattung von mindestens 80% der Kosten. …

Der Abreisetermin war für den 27.08.25 – 10.00 Uhr vertraglich vereinbart worden. Der Schlüssel wurde per Post am 31.07.25 an den Vermieter übersandt.
Ob der Hund wirklich Flöhe mitgebracht hatte oder nicht – unklar. Desinfektion wurde umgehend durchgeführt.

Vacation trip to the beach by train

My vacation trip with my girlfriend was really nice; you could really relax well. You have peace in the forest area, and the city and beach are very easily reachable on foot.

It is a small, pleasant apartment in a beautiful, quiet forest property. The gas station and shopping facilities are quickly accessible, and the beach is a 20-minute walk away. The landlord is accommodating and very helpful. We were very satisfied and would love to come back.

A place to relax

The journey was uncomplicated, even with a large dog we were welcomed very warmly. The location is very quiet, which is wonderful for switching off. Whether alone, as a couple or with family, if there are any problems, Mr. Baudis is on hand for advice. The Baltic Sea beach can be reached through the forest in about 15 minutes, and even the backwaters on the other side have great hiking trails for walking. The departure was just as relaxed as the arrival.

Erholung pur

The holiday was pure relaxation for us in the small forest, and everything we needed was available. When we reported the toaster and missing cutlery, the landlord immediately provided replacements, and he is very nice. The children liked it there. They could play basketball and football, and the dog could move freely on the property on his 15m long lead. We got along well with the neighbors. It's really just a quiet 15-minute walk through the forest to the sea. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the overall condition of the holiday apartment was satisfactory. We have already booked again for next year and are really looking forward to it.

Nie wieder

Upon entering the apartment, a musty smell hit us. The next shock was the furnishings/equipment. It looked like a garden shed or an accommodation in post-war condition. Worn-out and shabby furniture, bathroom/toilet were below any standard, toilet with an old cistern hanging from the ceiling to flush, dirt in the corners, shower curtain with deposits of black mold. Our first measures were sweeping the terrace, cleaning the partially broken garden furniture, and cleaning or disinfecting the entire accommodation. And for that, we had to pay an additional 30€ for cleaning. The surrounding property was in a miserable condition with trash corners. Good thing we didn't have the kids with us. The pictures on the website did not reflect the actual condition of the accommodation. Windows and doors were leaky, allowing noise from the street and the train to enter. We would advise against taking a vacation there. Too bad we can't upload pictures here or give negative points.

Idyll?

Directly adjacent to the property is the bath train with half-hourly traffic in both directions as well as a dog sports field with almost daily noise disturbance, sometimes until late in the evening. Traffic noise from the B 111 is clearly audible.

Idyllic forest property!

With all 4 accommodations fully booked, there is no talk of idyll. The property is relatively large, but unfortunately, the two bungalows are only about 10 meters apart with entrances facing each other. Continuous contact with other vacationers is difficult to avoid. Inside the houses, there is a small hallway through which 2 divided accommodations are accessible. The accommodations are very noisy, further exacerbated by extremely simple and non-tightly closing apartment doors. Road traffic can be clearly heard from the nearby B 111, and the railway line runs directly behind the property. During our time, the property was largely uncared for, completely overgrown.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Direkte Umgebung an den 2 Ferienhäusern ist Wald, mit Angrenzung der Eisenbahnlinie, Hundesportplatz und Fernverkehrsstraße B 111. Nächster Ort Zinnowitz, in etwa 1 km Entfernung, zum Strand ca. 1 km durch den Wald bei widerrechtlicher Überquerung des Eisenbahndammes, ansonsten mindestens 2 km zum Strand an einem ordentlichen Bahnübergang.

free time activities: Volleyballnetz hängt auf dem Grundstück, Fahrradfahren wenn man die Örtlichkeiten kennt denn leider hat die Fernverkehrsstraße B 111 in Zinnowitz keinen separaten Fahrradweg. Ortsübliche touristische Aktivitäten in den Badeorten an der Ostsee.
