Our 72 sqm apartment is comfortably furnished and is located on the ground floor of a quiet and well-kept residential complex with free parking.
The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, the spacious living and dining room is cozily equipped with a large sofa, a dining set, and a 43‘‘ 4K Ultra HD LED TV. Board games and informational material from the Lower Rhine are available for our guests. The bathroom with window features a bathtub with integrated shower and a towel warmer. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave, kettle, and Senseo machine. You can relax undisturbed on the balcony. Free Wi-Fi with Alexa throughout the apartment. Only a few minutes’ walk to the Rhine and the historic city wall of Rees. Rees is the ideal starting point for numerous excursion opportunities on the Lower Rhine, e.g. to the Siegfried city of Xanten, to Moyland Castle in Kalkar, to the centuries-old moated castle Schloss Anholt in Isselburg, to the Anholter Schweiz biotope wildlife park, to the longest suspension bridge in Germany in Emmerich am Rhein, or a visit to the weekly market in the Dutch town of Dinxperlo. Take a "Fietstour" (bike tour) through the beautiful Lower Rhine landscape. The cycle path network of the NiederRheinroute covers more than 2,000 km and is the longest in Germany.

- Swan and district town of Kleve. Also visit the Klever Reichswald, which with 5. 100 ha area largest contiguous public state forest in NRW
- Shop till you drop: Visit Europe’s largest shopping center, the Westfield CentrO in Oberhausen (60 km)
- Northwestern Europe’s largest pilgrimage site, Kevelaer, with around 1 million visitors/year (29 km)
- Arnhem (NL) (57 km) and the fascinating Burgers Zoo
- Paddle tour on the Niers, Goch (24 km).
- Ride on the Grensland draisine, Kranenburg (37 km)
- The international art forum houses about 95. 000 Posters: PAN Art Forum Niederrhein, Emmerich am Rhein (15 km)
- A visit to the castle gardens of Arcen, the small Dutch fortress town (46 km)
- Niederrhein Museum in Wesel (24 km)
- Visit one of the numerous Lower Rhine antique and flea markets
- An excursion to the 1st German Wine Open-Air Museum with many regular events in the Lower Rhine-Münsterland Tuscany in Hamminkeln-Wertherbruch (13 km): Kloster Kraul
- The centuries-old moated castle Anholt, Isselburg, together with its baroque gardens
- Visit the longest (803 m) suspension bridge in Germany, the "Golden Gate" on the Lower Rhine, Emmerich am Rhein (15 km). And if you like, afterwards pay a visit to the Katjes shop on the Rhine promenade. - Museum for modern and contemporary art and a mecca for any Joseph Beuys fan: Moyland Castle, Kalkar (12 km)
- Less than 30 minutes by car: Roman and Siegfried city Xanten (about 20 km from Rees)
- Excellent regional and seasonal products from the Lower Rhine: Lindchen Farmers’ Market (20 km)
- De Moezeköttel: Tiny, impressive open-air museum in the Dutch town of Megchelen, the smallest of the 71 emergency shelters, built after the Second World War – free admission (20 km).
