Typical Tuscan farmhouse expertly restored and converted into a splendid and welcoming villa set within a large park with mature plants and featuring an inviting private swimming pool (size 6x12x1,40 m deep > available April - October) with commanding view of the surroundings.
Internally the accommodation offers ample bright spaces, furnished with great love for details with quality furniture, and equipped with all modern comforts.
Strategically located, Villa Frida is ideal to enjoy the beautiful Tuscan countryside, take a dip in the blue sea of the nearby Tyrrhenian coast (30 km), visit the most famous historical and artistic centers of the region and last but not least, taste some typical Tuscan products by taking enogastronomic tours.
Thanks to the excellent production of wine on the summer, guests have the possibility of tasting and buying wine directly on the spot.

Heaven on Earth......
We arrive at the villa and were all truly stunned by the location and beauty of the surrounding hillside area.
The villa had everything we could have asked for and more. It was fresh and very clean and all the 5 bedrooms were extremely comfortable, the beds having really great quality mattresses' and pillows.
We paid to have the air conditioning available and on some days this was very welcome, but overall the villa remained fairly cool so we didn't use this during the day time at all, just for a few hours in the evenings before going to bed.
There was a very large dining table which was excellent for the 9/10 of us and this also converted in to a pool table, although we didn't play. There was plenty of room for children to roam freely, including a large grassed area where they could play football etc and play table tennis and table football. The pool area is stunning too and very tranquil.
The BBQ area is also a great addition to the house and we used this whilst we stayed.
The village of Montecatini Val Di Cecina is beautiful and has 4 really nice restaurants and bars in the little square. There is also a bank and a small supermarket for immediate supplies. There were bigger supermarkets within about 15-20 mins drive and a host of other gorgeous restaurants within the same area.
All in all, the villa was simply heaven on earth, a true paradise where you also drink the fabulous wine that the winery produces. At 18 euros a bottle, it was well worth it - delicious!
The owners were lovely too, very kind and hospitable on the day of arrival and day of departure and also were on hand during the week if we needed it.
I cannot recommend this villa enough for a large family or group of friends - up to 10. There are 3 entrances overall, both ground floor and upper floors, so you can easily have your own privacy too if you were 2 or 3 families/groups sharing.
