This was our first stone house in Park de Hoorn and it's impressive! Everything you need in daily life is there!
The surroundings are fantastic!

Beautiful vacation with a great accommodation.

The house is very clean. Everything you need is available. We actually only booked for one week, but extended for a second week because we liked it so much. The on-site manager also responded to service questions within minutes. We can absolutely recommend it without any problems...

Accommodation rating

We spent a few wonderful days in this accommodation. Everything went very uncomplicated. Very nice contact to the landlord and also a very friendly contact person on site. The rooms are bright and nicely equipped. There is nothing missing in the kitchen. We found the table outside a bit too small for four people and the shower wall did not work smoothly. However, we were told that it has been newly ordered. Otherwise everything was wonderful. Highly recommended and we will definitely book the cottage again next year. THANK YOU.

Was ok short holiday

Very nice landlady. Good handover of the key. All important things close by! Overall ok . Good beds. Equipment ok in terms of dishwasher, coffee maker, w-lan, cooker, toaster, etc. Overall the park is older and grown. We think the price-performance ratio is ok. You need a car for beach and city tours. Overall, this is our first holiday in Holland for a long time. In this respect, we do not have a comparison for a final assessment.

We liked the flat very much.very well equipped it was a few schnapspinchen missing but otherwise super.however, there was also a downside and that concerned the mattresses in the marital bed that are fell too soft.otherwise everything great

Highly recommended , nice holiday

We booked for 3 people (parents daughter).space very good.handover without problems,nice contact. Good equipment, everything you need is available. Nice terrace with garden furniture and barbecue facilities.Ventilation in toilet and shower could still be installed.Small park with animals and playground available. A supermarket at the entrance of the park is top. 10 km to the beach.the weather was also great. Other excursion destinations within easy reach. Texel also recommended. We will book again.

Simple equipment but everything available gladly again

Cosy little house,

with solid furnishings that are getting on in years.
Everything was available that was needed to spend a nice relaxing holiday. It's not a 4-star hotel, but it's okay. From here it is very easy to get to the various beaches in the area by car, about 15 minutes drive. Parking was no problem and almost always free of charge. Day trips such as Alkmaar (a must) were all within a radius of max. 50 km
(like Amsterdam ) easy to reach. Park and Ride is well possible but needs getting used to the first time but feasible and cost effective.
Contact with the landlord and his local representative was easy.
Deposit was refunded within a week. It was a relaxing week for us. Gladly again

The facility seems quite old. Unfortunately, it was not clean and the mattresses were sagging. We would not book this again.

Perfect family holiday

We were at Park Dirkshorn for about a week. It was just great. The accommodation was very nice and you could feel good. Everything you need was there+automatic coffee machine. Unfortunately, the shower was a bit narrow and there were no windows, so it was not so easy to ventilate. The water pressure and temperature in the shower were also too low but ok. What was not so nice is the cleanliness in the accommodation. Spiders weaving in the door frame, thick dust on all surfaces, windows blinded by dirt, dirt directly on the bed... And mould in the shower. That would definitely have to be done. Otherwise great accommodation and great park. Highly recommended for families.

Relaxing family holiday in a great North Sea climate

Well-maintained detached house for 5 people with comfort (Ambilight TV, dishwasher, coffee machine). Quiet location with private, large green area and numerous play facilities for children in the park. Supermarket for fresh breakfast rolls available. Sympathetic, pleasant contact with the landlord.
Great beaches and amusement parks (we were here before Corona ;) nearby.
It also makes sense to go to Amsterdam and Alkmar!

Very basic equipment in terms of quality, but everything you need is there. Spacious room layout and a well-maintained and fully grown outdoor area. Ideal for families with children.

Beautiful holiday

We booked the accommodation for 5 people (3 adults, 2 children) and the space in the house is absolutely sufficient. The house was handed over clean. A nice terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue were available, as well as a large meadow next to the building where children can play. We already knew the park, so no further mention here. Apart from an egg boiler, everything was there, microwave, dishwasher, small oven, coffee machine (very nice), just everything you need. The only not so nice point is the bathroom and the toilet. Since there is no window in either room, ventilation is only possible by leaving the doors open. It would be nice if exhaust fans could be installed, there are openings in the ceiling
I would definitely book it again.

Highly recommended ??

I was there with my husband and my two children and we were all very enthusiastic. Everything you need is there, such as a dishwasher, oven, fully automatic coffee machine (which I thought was great), kettle, TV and everything else you need. My husband was also very enthusiastic about the barbecue☺️
Everything was clean, so highly recommended !
The outdoor area is also very cosy. For our children it was of course also optimal, because there were enough playgrounds and the goats were of course also a highlight for the children on the park
Shopping facilities are also around the corner, which was of course perfect, especially with 2 children in tow?
The beach and town are not far away either, so thank goodness we didn't have to drive far during the day and could just enjoy our holiday
Communication with the landlord was also smooth and the contact person on site was very friendly and helpful
It is highly recommended, especially with children it is a nice holiday home with lots of space.
