We have now been in the holiday cottage for the second time and felt very comfortable. It has everything you need. Clean and cozy. Only 1 minute away on foot for shopping. And super nice landlords.

Holiday with Dog

We spent 14 days with 3 people and two dogs in the apartment of the Hirth family. The apartment and the property are ideal for a holiday with a dog as it is completely fenced. Mrs. Hirth was always available for questions. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired as everything is available. We felt completely comfortable. Highly recommended.

Cozy accommodation

We spent 2 weeks as a family of 4 plus a dog in the holiday house of the Hirth family and felt completely comfortable. There was nothing missing and questions were answered promptly. A supermarket and restaurant are just around the corner, yet it was very quiet. We can fully recommend the accommodation. If we should make a holiday in the Netherlands again, this house would be our first choice.

Great vacation home

We had a very nice holiday. The holiday house is equipped with everything you need. The house and the garden are lovingly designed. It was very quiet in the holiday resort, pure relaxation. There is a beautiful beach for families with children and dogs. We traveled to the larger cities by train from Alkmaar, great train connections. Family Witt from Potsdam and Wismar.

Holiday

a very cosy and beautiful accommodation, with a great, well-kept garden.
We spent a week there with our dog and felt very comfortable.

We will be back!!!

After Mr M's last comment, we were a little unsettled. But we can absolutely not confirm that! Yes, there were some spider webs and their inhabitants. But that comes with a green area. After the friendly contact with Mrs. Hirth, I am quite sure that she will immediately take care of any complaints!

We were already on holiday in the park last year. Now we have found "our" house. It's just great equipped and we didn't miss anything, and with a dog you need so many things! We will not book another house

The garden is beautifully situated and everything you need is there. It is not visible and our dog could move freely in it without being able to run away - mega great. We sat outside more than inside.

The journey home was very difficult for us, we recovered well and had a great holiday.
In short, a great place to stay, not for the etepete and fancy pants, everyone else will enjoy a great place to stay in a beautiful park!

Beautiful holiday home

We stayed in the holiday home for just under 14 days. The location and the surroundings are very beautiful. We liked the house, the furnishings, the garden and especially the beautiful lighting all around! Everything you need is there
It was not quite as clean as we are used to. However, the landlord took care of it right away and was always available. It is quite normal to find traces of use in the house during the main tourist season, with constantly changing guests. It always depends on the requirements. If you expect 5 stars, you should book a hotel or a luxury villa at the appropriate price and not complain here
With a few cosmetic repairs and some brush strokes it will be wonderful again
We will definitely come back again!

Not recommended.

Booked for 2 weeks and after 4 days, ended the vacation and drove back home. It remains a mystery how this accommodation can have a 100% recommendation rate. Dirty, starting in the kitchen and unhygienic, ending with the beds. The house shows damage everywhere, bikes broken, and a sun lounger for a 6-person house. Unfortunately, cannot add pictures here. In conclusion, once and never again. Landlady does not comment on it and unfortunately did not receive any compensation.

Vacation June 2020

We had a fantastic holiday in Dirkshorn. The holiday home added to the experience. Everything was perfect, beautifully furnished house, modern and with a feel-good effect. The garden is amazing, secluded and comfortable garden furniture, as well as a good gas grill. The bedroom with the 1.80m large box spring bed is great with the electric roller shutter, but the mattresses are very soft. But the box spring bed 1.40m is comfortable with good mattresses. 60 m in the other room has firmer mattresses, where one can escape to if only two adults inhabit the house. Conclusion: would gladly come back at any time!

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus

We spent very relaxing days in this very lovingly and absolutely perfectly equipped holiday home. The house is absolutely well thought out and beautifully decorated. The garden with a covered barbecue area and beautiful planting also leaves nothing to be desired. From here, there are endless possibilities for beautiful bike tours, including to the different beaches. Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to explore everything and hope to come back soon.

Very nice short break

We were able to spend a very nice long weekend here. The holiday home is lovingly and modernly furnished. The equipment is great and the beds are very comfortable. The garden is large and also offers the possibility to barbecue. The house is located on a quiet campsite. A shopping opportunity is directly adjacent to the campsite. In the nearby area, there are very nice hiking opportunities. We always felt very comfortable in the holiday home and will gladly come back.

Cozy holiday home - perfect for relaxing

We spent a relaxing weekend in this holiday home and definitely recommend it! Upon arrival, everything was thoroughly cleaned, and the equipment left nothing to be desired. The house is cozy and modernly furnished. The beds were very comfortable. For any questions, we had a very friendly and easily accessible contact person on-site, and the landlady was also very helpful. All in all, we were very satisfied. The best vacation home facilities we ever had.

It was very relaxing days that felt like a complete vacation. The kitchen was even better equipped than my own XD. Everything was there - dishwasher, large fridge with freezer compartments, 4 gas stove burners, dishes, serving plates, bowls, glasses (from shot glasses to wine glasses), sharp knives, coffee with filters, spices, and more. If you were missing anything, the nearest supermarket was just a minute's walk away. We slept in the "Masterbedroom" and had a very soft box spring bed. Our friends had a slightly firmer bed in the second bedroom, which they also preferred. The garden gives the impression that one can endure it very well on nicer days. It is large, well-kept, beautifully furnished, and not visible. Even though the weather was not the best, there was a lot to see and experience in the area. The town Alkmaar and Bergen were particularly nice for strolling. The beaches are incredible - super wide and super long. Even though we could only walk and were almost blown away, we had a lot of fun and quickly warmed up at the restaurant Woest in Callantsoog. Thanks to the satellite dish, we could receive every TV channel. The only downside regarding the media offer when we were there was that there was no Wi-Fi (which seems to have changed now). All in all, it can be said that the house was absolutely perfect for the four of us. It was spacious enough, had enough bathrooms, and no one was stepping on each other's toes :). We will definitely come back and are already looking forward to more vacations at "Frans Huis."

modern holiday home, very clean

We can unconditionally recommend this holiday home. Before our arrival, everything had been thoroughly cleaned. The house is very pleasant (tastefully furnished, comfortable temperature, everything you need is available) and the ideal starting point to explore the surrounding area and cities like Alkmaar, Bergen, Egmond, etc. For dog owners, the property being completely fenced in is practical. A supermarket is right around the corner. We felt very comfortable and will come back.

A paradise near the beach

In a very beautiful environment, we enjoyed our holiday in this holiday home, which is particularly lovingly and tastefully furnished. Everything is very clean. The spacious garden and well-kept terrace, which prevent any outside view - very nice - this is what distinguishes the special location of the property. The entire equipment - for example, the covered garden shed with grill, available bicycles - simply fantastic. Thank you very much to the landlords for this. We will come back, no matter the season, because even during the winter months, we imagine an evening by the fireplace as totally romantic for relaxing.
